Baldur’s Gate 3 developers keep surprising the players with high-quality post-launch service, and now, a highly-requested visual upgrade has been rolled out for one of the coolest weapons in the game.

In Baldur’s Gate 3, you can play as whoever you want to be, with a myriad of customization options that allow you to create your own Sword Coast Legend. But like in every RPG, weapons are one of the greatest assets and most sought-after items you will be looking for.

Each weapon design in Baldur’s Gate 3 looks quite unique, but fans of Larian Studios’ acclaimed take on the Dungeons and Dragons universe have been thinking that some weapons have not received the attention they need.

One of the said weapons was the Sussur Weapons, which if you managed to find the Masterwork Weapon Quest, you would obtain by merging one of three weapon types with certain rare material.

The Sussur Greatsword is one of the best Weapons you can use against a spellcaster.

This was highlighted in the Baldur’s Gate 3 Reddit community by user ‘SarSean,’ who shared a Reddit post to show the results of the latest update on the visuals of the weapons.

Previously, the weapons didn’t show any particular characteristics and looked like plain normal weapons (Sickle, Dagger, Shortsword, or Greatsword), but now, with the proper visual upgrades, they do look like something unique. One of the players expressed: “Now it looks awesome!”

Another player also commented, “YESSSSS… I made a sus dagger for Astarion and it just looks like a normal dagger… glad it looks awesome now.” While other Baldur’s Gate 3 fan also said: “As the old tales tells ‘Looks > Stats’ “

Seems like Baldur’s Gate 3 still has a lot to offer to its fans, and if you are even wondering what is the coolest build for your character in BG3, here’s a Warbreaker Paladin/Warlock build you can try. Or, if you are feeling in the mood to raise the dead, here’s a full Necromancer Build, so you can cull the meek, and inflict fear in your foes’ hearts.
