Baldur’s Gate 3 players share QoL reworks they’d love to see next
Larian StudiosLarian Studios have released several updates for Baldur’s Gate 3, and players confessed which minor changes would really like to see in the next patch.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has players obsessed with the world of Faerun, where they need to immerse themselves fully to understand what’s happening behind the Mind Flayers’ invasion. After several playthroughs, fans admitted that some minor changes would greatly improve how they navigate the main campaign.
Players gathered in Baldur’s Gate 3 Reddit community to debate what “most inconsequential” change they would like to see, and the most popular answers are surely what every fan would like Larian Studios to implement in future updates.
“Asking a character to join you automatically brings up a menu where you can choose somebody to dismiss,” said user ‘PhillipJ3ffries.’ Players agreed that this would not only save a lot of time when meeting new companions but would also “get rid of guilt trips” since characters always try to convince the main character to let them stay in the party.
Others agreed that Baldur’s Gate 3 could get more basic camp outfits, especially at the beginning of the adventure. “I don’t need Figaro’s selection in Act 1, but at least give us something to get us out of the homely clothes!” commented user ‘meb1995.’
One of the most popular suggestions was related to camp life on Baldur’s Gate 3, where fans insisted they’d like to see more cinematics showing how characters interact with each other. Players described they’d like some “slice of life” scenes, where they get to see how companions train or have a meal together.
Another popular demand, which was the main reason behind the implementation of the Magic Mirror, asked for more options to modify faces. “Don’t need it to be Sims levels, but it would be nice if we could pick say nose/mouth/eyes separately,” explained Reditorr ‘MSTater85.’
A Baldur’s Gate 3 player also summed up what many were thinking, and shared a list of small reworks that would greatly improve QoL. Among its many items, they included the ability to see the approval level of all characters, previews for clothing/armor in the shop menu, more models for animals, and more companion interactions in response to troubling Act 3 quests.
And that’s everything on which minor changes players would like to see in the next Baldur’s Gate 3 update. If you want to know more about Larian Studios’ RPG, you can check which odd NPC they’re weirdly attached to and what is the “heartbreaking” reason behind Gale’s ambition.
