Baldur’s Gate 3 players share simple trick to summon “most OP” creature in game
Larian StudiosLarian Studios included plenty of creatures that can aid travelers during their adventure in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, there’s one powerful summon that fans claim to have been overlooked so far.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has more than 600 spells available for players to use as scrolls or equip them as their own abilities. Every class can use these skills, but being any type of spellcaster usually grants players an extra buff when using them.
Among this huge library of options, Conjuration spells let adventurers summon creatures such as Elementals, Familiars, and Planar Allies to fight alongside the party. But Baldur’s Gate 3 fans have found a summoning that has been overlooked since the game’s release, and were amazed by its powers.
“Imagine starting 95% of your fights with surprised enemies. How much OP would that be? The answer is very much, and you don’t even have to pick a Stealth class for it. All you need is this Level 1, 7HP, Act 1 Beginner Summon,” said Redditor ‘Benutzer13131.’
The player began listing the skills of “Shovel, the Quasit,” a creature that can be easily discovered while exploring the Blighted Village during Act 1. “She has Indefinite Non-Spell-Slot-using Stealth, meaning you can just cloak with him while the Rest of your party Sneaks 50 meters away; attack while Inv; and suddenly every single enemy is surprised,” they explained.
Baldur’s Gate 3 fans agreed that the Quasit was definitely underrated and that they discovered her powers a little too late in the game. Others admitted that they’d simply used her as another summon, where she died promptly after the duration of the scroll had finished.
As Wizards and Warlocks, players get to learn every scroll they get their hands into, but fans were surprised to learn that any spellcaster could talk to Shovel and get the ability to summon her for free.
“Get to the Blighted Village just past the Grove. In the Herbalist House directly on the left after the Entrance there is a Hatch to a Cellar behind a Counter. Down there you go straight forward and pull a lever revealing a secret area. There are now a bunch of Coffins and the Quasit-Summon-Scroll can be found here. Open the first Coffin on the right and there it will be,” explained the OP.
Players also highlighted that it was a low-level scroll, which can be taught to a Wizard for 50 Gold and permanently add the Quasit to the set of prepared spells.
And that’s everything on what OP summon Baldur’s Gate 3 players were amazed to discover while traveling through Faerun.
