Baldur's Gate 3 destroying objects

In Baldur’s Gate 3, you sometimes come across gates, doors, and walls you can break. However, each of these objects has a sturdiness level you must overcome in order to destroy it. Here’s a full rundown on sturdiness levels and how to break walls, doors, and more in BG3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 leaves a lot of room for players to roleplay their characters the way they want. Whether they are a stealthy Rogue or a powerful Barbarian, obstacles in the game are always present, and going through them may require a little bit of brute force and some worldly knowledge.

Sturdiness levels are there to prevent you from destroying everything in your wake, so here’s all you need to know about them, and how to break walls, doors, and more with ease in BG3.

What sturdiness & toughness levels in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Sturdiness in Baldur’s Gate 3 is the grade of resistance an object or structure has to resist your attacks. To overcome that sturdiness level, you must understand what resistances are associated with each object. Toughness is the level that indicates how much damage you need to inflict before the structure or object breaks.

You can access certain places, passages, shortcuts, and even secret vaults by breaking these objects. But destroying a door or gate may also get you in trouble.
