How to get Phalar Aluve in Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 has insanely strong weapons hidden during Act 1, and players are often surprised when they stumble upon them. The Phalar Aluve is deep down a chasm in the first part of the Underdark, which is why most adventurers skip it and lose the opportunity of getting a great sword that works for Rogues and Bards.

Baldur’s Gate 3: Where is the Phalar Aluve

To get the Phalar Aluve in Baldur’s Gate 3 Act 1, you’ll need to find the stone it’s lodged in, which is deep down a chasm in the Underdark in Act 1. Here’s what you need to do to retrieve it.

1. Use the Well found in the Blighted Village (X: 26, Y: 399) to head to the Underdark. You can choose whether to fight or avoid the Phase Spiders.
2. Head to the Whispering Depth waypoint (X:-590, Y: -384), where you’ll find an open chasm. Cast “Feather Fall” or drink a Feather Fall potion, and jump in.
3. You’ll float down into the Underdark, where you can head southwest to find a sword in the stone (X:117, Y:-190).
4. Pass either a 15 DC Strength or 10 DC Religion Check plus a 10 DC Charisma check to get it.

You can get to the Underdark several ways during Act 1, but if you don’t want to go through the Goblin Camp first, getting into the Well of the Blighted Village is your best option.

The Phalar Aluve in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a rare sword that is meant to boost Rogues and Bards‘ abilities. It can also be carried by a Mage Hand, which can cast its class actions. Here’s every stat of the Phalar Aluve:

• Damage: 6-15.
• Weapon type: Longsword, Finesse.
  • One Handed: Damage 1d10+ 5 slashing.
• Requirements: Martial Weapons or Longsword Proficiency.
• Weight: 1,35 kg.
• Skills:
  • Melody: The sword hums in anticipation, ready to Sing or Shriek. The effect ends when Phalar Aluve is unequipped.
• Performance +1
• Weapon enchantment +1
