How to get secret Myrmidon weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3
Larian StudiosWhen players reach Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3, it can be a bit overwhelming to traverse the city and find all its secrets. So, here’s where and how to find some OP weapons that will make your exploration easier.
Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3 is full of new characters, enemies, and locations to explore. One of these – one of the best places for Mages to discover secrets – is Sorcerous Sundries. Here is where you can find Lorroakan, who has put a hit out on the Nightsong (Dame Aylin).
When you first meet Lorroakan, he is surrounded by Myrmidons. The secret about his Myrmidons, though, is that they are holding weapons that usually you would not be able to get. This is because Myrmidons are permanently armed.
There are a few ways that you can get them, however, and this guide will cover it.

How to get the Myrmidon weapons by going to jail in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can get the Baldur’s Gate 3 Myrmidon weapons by summoning an elemental and going to jail.
There are a few weapons that are accessible by taking this route, including the Flail of the Vortex and Trident of the Depths. Both are usually only usable and accessible to elementals, but this method lets you use them instead.
Step by step, here is how to do it:
- Conjure an Air, Water or Fire elemental
- Have them destroy public property and get arrested for it
- Break out of jail and loot the evidence chest
From Air Elementals you will receive the Flail of the Vortex. From a Water Elemental, you should receive the Trident of the Depths. A Fire Elemental summon gives you the chance to receive the Fire Myrmidon Scimitar.
You need to make sure that one of your party members is able to summon Elementals, and Gale is usually the best choice for that. If you are playing a Wizard yourself, you can always invest in summoning and make sure you are able to bring Elementals into the fight.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players can also receive the Flail, Trident, and Scimitar by killing Lorroakan in Sorcerous Sundries.
Lorroakan can be found on the top floor of Sorcerous Sundries, but you may need to pass a few tests before you reach him. When you first enter the building, speak to the projection of Lorroakan and tell it that you have information about the Nightsong. It will then give you directions to portals up the stairs, and you need to choose the blue one on the furthest left to reach the Wizard.
Once you reach him, you can start a conversation with him and either start a fight then and there or get Dame Aylin involved first and have her fight with you. To get the weapons, you must fight Lorroakan. We suggest getting Dame Aylin to fight with you if you have her, as the fight with the Myrmidons can be tough.
Once you have defeated Lorroakan and his Myrmidons, make sure you take a long rest before you loot anything or anyone. When you return from your long rest, there will be pouches in place of where the Myrmidons died. Loot those pouches, and you will find the Flail of the Vortex, Trident of the Depths, and the Scimitar of Cinder.
Each of these weapons have powerful stats:
- The Flail of the Vortex does 1d8 + 3 damage alongside 1d8 lightning damage, allowing the user to stun targets for two turns.
- The Trident of the Depths 1d6 + 3 damage alongside 1d6 cold damage, allowing the user to chill targets.
- The Scimitar of Cinder does 1d6 + 2 damage alongside 1d6 fire damage, allowing the user to cast Scorching Strike.
