Bangalore’s heirloom leaked for Apex Legends Season 8
Bangalore is the only character from the original roster in Apex Legends who is still awaiting her Heirloom, and data miners have already been able to uncover what it will look like when she gets it in Season 8.
Apex Legends Collection Events give Respawn the chance to show off all the new content that they have planned for the battle royale, but Season 8’s Anniversary event did not add a new Heirloom that fans have been expecting Bangalore to get this season.
Luckily, a few data miners have managed to dig up her Heirloom in the files after the Aftermarket Event. While it was initially leaked as a ‘Tonfa’ (baton), it now seems that Respawn have decided to give the Legend a new exotic knife instead.
Bangalore Heirloom in Apex Legends Season 8
These leaks came from notable Apex Legends data miners @Biast12 and @SomeoneWhoLeaks, who both posted images of the heirloom, and gave us closer looks at it.
The blade has a hooked tip with a serrated edge, and we can tell from the images that it’s bent into a shape which is similar to a Kukri, a type of Indian Machete.
At first, the Heirloom had a noticeably different looking design, which the data miners also leaked back in October 2020. Now, all mentions of that old leak seem to have changed to a ‘knife looking melee weapon’ in the game files.
The previously leak for Bangalore’s Heirloom looked like this:
While this change might lead to some disappointment among Apex fans, it’s worth considering that Wraith and Octane already have knives, so the design could change again during development
While Season 8’s Anniversary event does not add Banglore’s Heirloom (or any new one), completing the collection will net you 150 Heirloom Shards, to spend on an already existing Heirloom of your choice.
Now, do keep in mind that these leaks haven’t been verified by the developers yet, so take this information with a grain of salt. Hopefully, Respawn Entertainment will announce some good news for Bangalore players soon enough.
