An extremely irritating Battlefield 2042 glitch is causing players to spawn in the game completely invisible. Thankfully, developers DICE have confirmed a fix for this game-breaking problem.

You’ll find no shortage of fun content in Battlefield 2042, like Portal which lets you create your own game modes. However, there are also major glitches like the one that can cause your mouse to get stuck on PC.

Another bug that has been plaguing the game is one that causes players to spawn into a match completely invisible. This caught the attention of the developers who have now promised a fix for it.

Reddit user ‘sterrre’ showcased this bug in a short clip that they posted in the Battlefield 2042 subreddit. “I spawned invisible when trying to spawn on a friendly MAV,” wrote the Redditor.

While they had no plans to use this exploit to their advantage, other players might not show such restraint. It makes it impossible for enemies to see you, which makes the game feel unbalanced.

After the Redditor reported this bug, Kevin Johnson, DICE’s Community Manager, responded to the issue. He said: “Hi! This should be fixed once we deploy our next update, Update 3.1. Thanks for reaching out.”

At the time of writing, we don’t know when exactly this update will release. Since Update #3 arrived on December 2, we expect the developers to release Update 3.1 in the near future.

This bug seems to be caused by spawning on a vehicle. “If you spawn on a vehicle and all the seats fill up while deploying it’ll spawn the player invisible outside of the vehicle,” theorized one user.

Hopefully, the next major update patch will sort out this issue along with many of the glaring problems being faced by Battlefield 2042 players since the game’s launch. Once it arrives, we’ll be sure to let you know.
