Renowned Battlefield leaker Temporyal has revealed an image of the expansive new Season 1 map Exposure that is expected to hit Battlefield 2042 shortly.

Battlefield 2042’s launch hasn’t been the smoothest but longtime fans of the franchise are excited at the prospect of new Season 1 content. We’ve known for some time that a new map would be arriving via the Season 1 update and now we have our first look at Exposure courtesy of Temporyal.

Although a large portion of players have failed to play the game consistently since release, the devs are hoping that exciting new Season 1 content will drive players back to the game.

Along with a battle pass, the highly-anticipated update will bring forth the Exposure map for players to enjoy. An official release date for the update has yet to be revealed but distinguished Battlefield leaker Temporyal has urged fans of the game to expect a March 2022 release date.

Temporyal is often spot on when it comes to new information concerning the franchise, and the images of Exposure should be no different. Due to datamined information Exposure was previously thought to be called “Ridge”.

It was first thought that Exposure was located in British Columbia Canada and the images further prove this theory. Although we don’t see the alleged Canadian-US research facility that is said to be a part of the map, we do see some beautiful Western Canadian scenery.

The image shows many mountains with snowy peaks for as far as the eye could see. The massive mountains are joined by crisp autumn foliage in the surrounding trees and a ravine can be seen in the distance.

Temporyal does note that there is no guarantee this information or image of Exposure will make it into the game. However, this new information should have players excited for what’s to come in Season 1.
