Here’s everything we know about the Battlefield 2042 vehicles, including a list and how to call them in.
Battlefield 2042 aims to be the biggest entry in the franchise yet. With massive maps, storm cycles, and larger lobbies, Battlefield 2042 is making many changes to the series’ formula.
It wouldn’t be a Battlefield game if there were vehicles. Considering the size of the maps, vehicles will be necessary to traverse such larger areas. We’ve only seen a bit of what’s to come, but here’s everything we know about the Battlefield 2042 vehicles.
Battlefield 2042 vehicles list
Like previous titles, all of Battlefield 2042’s vehicles will likely be unlocked for every player at the start. However, players will be able to unlock different equipment for vehicles to customize their loadouts.
Here is a list of the Battlefield 2042 vehicles so far, according to a report from Dexerto:
- AH640GX Apache Warchief Attack Helicopter
- E6-JGR Recon
- F-35E Panther Jet
- Futuristic Three-Wheeled Auto Rickshaw
- M1A5 Tank
- MD540 Nightbird Helicopter
- Quad Bike/ ATV
- SU-57 Elon Jet
- T28 Tank
Battlefield V had 24 war vehicles, so there are surely more to come. As more vehicles are revealed, we will update this list.
How to call in in vehicles
Usually, players would have to find vehicles on the map to pilot them. Battlefield 2042 has added a new “vehicle drop” mechanic that allows players to call in vehicles from anywhere on the map.
This is due to the increased map sizes that might make it difficult to find vehicles. EA DICE has stated that there will be a limited number of each type of vehicle allowed on the map at one time.
Calling in vehicles will probably work similarly to calling in loadout drops in CoD. We don’t know all of the details just yet, but we will keep you posted as more information is available.
