Best AS44 loadout for CoD: Vanguard
The AS44 is one of Vanguard’s fastest firing assault rifles, which, with the right setup, can tear through enemies and fire you to victory. Here’s our guide on the best AS44 loadout, complete with Perks and attachments.
If like many players you’ve been running the STG44 since Vanguard launched, you might be looking for a new Assualt Rifle to use as a primary weapon.
Vanguard has a wide range of map sizes, and finding the right Assualt Rifle can make you competitive on nearly every one.
The AS44 is one of the fastest ARs in the game, which makes it difficult to control. But by following our guide, you can get it under control and working at its best.
Best Vanguard AS44 loadout
- Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
- Barrel: Zac 650MM Precision
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Zac 12B Custom
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
- Kit: On-Hand
The name of the game here is to contain the AS44’s wild recoil and make its blistering fire rate more accurate. With this in mind, the F8 Stabilizer is vital because it tames some of the recoil, while also increasing the range.
Likewise, the Zac 650MM Precision Barrel helps with horizontal recoil control and buffs headshot damage. This increase to headshots paired with the fire will make the As44 devastating at mid-range.
In terms of Optics, we’ve gone for the no-nonsense Slate Reflector in an effort to keep things clean and simple. Meanwhile, the Zac 12B Custom Stock helps with sway and flinch resistance, only adding to the accuracy of this loadout.
You can say the same for the M1941 Hand Stop Underbarrel, which also helps with accuracy and stability when firing. The ammo Type is Lengthened, which will buff the bullet velocity and help it pack a serious punch.
Finally, we’ve chosen Sleight of Hand as the Proficiency, and the Fully Loaded for the Kit. The AS44 chews through rounds at dizzying speed, so the first will let you quickly reload when you inevitably run out, and the latter gives you even more ammo in the bank.
The downside to this loadout is that you unlock some of these attachments at higher weapon levels, but once you earn enough XP to equip each you’ll have the best AS44 set up to hit the top of the scoreboard.
Best Perks for AS44 in vanguard
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Piercing Vision
- Perk 3: Double Time
Spy Planes are always looming overhead, so Ghost is a must-have for nearly every Vanguard loadout.
Piercing Vision may seem like an unusual choice, but with smoke and stun grenades constantly being thrown around, the ability to highlight an enemy after landing one shot is vital to finishing the kill.
Finally, if you’re not planning on using Overkill to use another primary weapon, Double Time helps you quickly get back in the fight after dying.
How to unlock the AS44 in Vanguard
Unless you manage to level up quickly, you’ll have to wait sometime before getting the AS44. You can’t unlock it until Rank 33, but after that, this hidden gem is free to be unleashed.
As mentioned earlier, you will have to grind to earn all of the attachments that make up our loadout. However, once you curb that recoil you’re left with a powerful Assualt Rifle.
