Best AUG loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 2

The AUG is one of the best weapons in Warzone Season 2, so here are the meta attachments and perks to run with it.

AUG in Warzone

The AUG has quickly risen to be meta in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2, so we’ve put together the best attachments and perks to maximize its potential.

Both the AUG and the Agency Silencer received buffs in Warzone Season 2, which has allowed the weapon to become the meta. With each burst of this Tactical Rifle doing insane damage, it’s become one of the best weapons you can use at range this season.

Here are the best attachments and perks to run with the AUG in Warzone.

Best AUG Warzone class

Warzone AUG gunsmith
  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer
  • Barrel: 18″ Rapid Fire
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Rnd Drum

With the right attachments, the AUG is capable of downing a fully-armored player in only a couple of bursts. We wouldn’t recommend spam-firing this weapon, you would be better off concentrating on landing every shot of each burst to take advantage of this gun’s damage potential.

The Rapid Fire Barrel increases the AUG’s fire rate without affecting its damage range. You’ll be able to fire several bursts quickly, and only a couple of these bursts will be required to take down a player.

The Agency Silencer will completely transfrom the AUG, making it infinitely better. The weapon’s bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control will all receive a significant buff with this suppressor equipped. And as an added bonus, you’ll be hidden from the mini map and radar when firing.

Warzone AUG

To make sure you can land two or three bursts consecutively, you should run the Field Agent Foregrip. Giving extra control to both horizontal and vertical recoil, you’ll be able to accurately follow up on your shots.

For optics, the most effective scope is the Axial Arms 3x. It’s relatively unobtrusive and provides decent magnification for hitting targets at medium-long range, which is extremely important when using the AUG in Warzone.

And finally, the 45 Round Drum mag is a solid choice. The only penalty it gives is a slower reload time, but 45 rounds will be enough to take out multiple enemies.

Best perks to use with Warzone AUG

  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped

For perks, E.O.D is one of the best choices available. You’ll be able to tank a barrage of explosives, which will be invaluable in staying alive in the chaos of Warzone.

Warzone EOD perk

When using the AUG, you’ll want to run a close-range secondary such as the MAC-10 or FFAR 1. Overkill will allow you to carry two primary weapons, then you can hide from UAVs by taking the Ghost perk from your next loadout. And to change these weapons quickly, you should run the Amped perk in the third slot.

Try out Warzone’s AUG with these attachments and perks, and you’ll be running one of Season 2’s meta loadouts.

Crazy Warzone exploit gives Akimbo Sykov Pistols zero recoil & 100% accuracy

Although Warzone’s Sykov will be nerfed soon, a new glitch is giving the Akimbo full-auto Pistols complete accuracy and no recoil.

Warzone dual Sykovs

A crazy new Warzone exploit is reportedly turning the already meta-defining Sykov Pistol into a 100% accurate monster with zero recoil.

Since its release in Modern Warfare and Warzone, the Sykov Pistol dominated all close-range fights. With a blisteringly high fire rate, 80 Round Mags, and the option to wield it akimbo, the dual Sykov’s became an overnight meta.

After players were frustrated with another meta-breaking gun arriving in the game, replying to a thread of Warzone issues from streamer CouRage, Raven Software promised “a significant balance pass” to the Sykov, as well as the AUG, M16, and FFAR 1.

However, a new exploit is turning these powerful pistols into 100% accurate laser beams with no recoil.

Warzone streamer Stukawaki demonstrated this new exploit in Plunder. After parachuting down, standing just outside of the optimum range for the akimbo Sykov’s, Stu unloads a barrage of bullets that land directly on the crosshair with 100% accuracy and seemingly no recoil.

From the clip, it appears that Stu is only using one Sykov (the ammo is only displayed for one Pistol), and the game has been glitched to show two. Whatever happened, it’s clear that this Sykov exploit makes the weapons 100% accurate.

Until the new sidearm has been adjusted, the only drawback to the Sykov’s unbelievable damage at point-blank range is its recoil. These two pistols firing off 160 rounds at full-auto will rise considerably after prolonged firing, and the weapons will become ineffective outside of the hip-fire accuracy range.

Warzone Akimbo Sykov Pistols

This exploit takes away the only thing holding the Sykov back, so although reports say that this exploit is easier to replicate in Plunder, it’s possible you will see it making its way into your games of battle royale.

Although several changes slated for Season 3, including adjustments to the Roze skin and the leaked Verdansk 1980s overhaul following the nuke event, Raven Software are yet to acknowledge this new exploit.
