Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s latest season has added loads of new content to the game, with the latest update introducing a new secondary weapon, the AMP63. Here are the attachments and perks to make the best Cold War AMP63 loadout.

Black Ops Cold War Season 3 has been a pretty busy season, with new multiplayer maps, modes, and even a scorestreak for players to enjoy.

As well as the PPSH-41, Swiss K31, Ballistic Knife, and Carv.2, Treyarch has now introduced another new secondary weapon, the AMP63. Although it isn’t a primary weapon, the AMP63 can be pretty viable and fun to use with the right setup.

  • Body: Swat 5MW Laser Sight
  • Barrel: 6.4″ Task Force
  • Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
  • Magazine: Salvo 22RND Fast Mag
  • Stock: Dual Wield

The Sound Suppressor is obviously great for staying hidden and not making too much commotion while you are moving around the map. The 6.4″ Task Force barrel will counter some of the range reduction from the suppressor and help boost the firepower.

Furthermore, the Swat 5MW Laser Sight will help your hip-fire accuracy as you will be using the Dual Wield stock for this loadout, which makes the weapon a beast from up close.

Lastly, the Salvo 22RND Fast Mag will allow you to maintain fire for a little bit longer and make missing shots not as devastating, especially as without it the base magazine size is a measly 15.

Best perks with the AMP3 in Cold War Season 3

Best AMP63 loadout perks

First off, you will definitely want to run Perk Greed with the best Cold War AMP63 loadout to get the most out of this Pistol, as this will allow you to run 6 perks instead of 3.

  • Perk 1: Flak Jacket, Tactical Mask
  • Perk 2: Scavenger, Assasin
  • Perk 3: Ghost, Gung-ho

As this weapon will force you to run and gun, especially with the Dual Wield attachment, Flak Jacket, Tactical Mask, and Gung-ho will allow you to stay mobile while on the move, preventing any lethals or tacticals from ruining your day.

Both Scavenger and Assassin are great choices for your second perk, as Scavenger allows you to stay kitted with bullets while you’re on the move, while Assassin gains you some extra points which is always an added bonus.

Lastly, you can never go wrong with Ghost in the best Cold War AMP63 loadout, as this perk will prevent enemies from tracking you down while you’re running about, keeping you hidden on the mini-map.

How to unlock the AMP63 in Cold War Season 3

The AMP63 is Warzone and Cold War’s brand new secondary weapon, which players can unlock for free by completing a challenge.

The challenge is fairly straight forward, as players must get 5 pistol kills in 20 different matches, which is fairly easy, but can be quite time consuming depending on the game mode you’re playing.

Keep in mind that on Cold War, players will need to finish the game completely for the 5 kills to count, so it may be easier to complete on Warzone’s Plunder game mode, where after 5 kills you can back out and maintain your progress.

Best alternatives

The best alternatives to the AMP63 are some of Cold War’s other strong secondary pistols, like the Diamatti or any of the best guns currently in Cold War.

Use these weapons when getting your 5 kills in 20 matches to unlock the AMP63, as they will have you taking down enemies in no time.
