Best CoD: Warzone Season 1 Fennec loadout

The Fennec doesn’t dominate the Meta like other popular Warzone weapons, but it’s a great gun and this is the best loadout to use in Season 1.

Warzone Season 1 has largely been dominated by the same two or three guns. Weapons like the Fennec have easily been forgotten about, yet this incarnation of the Vector is actually quite powerful, and we’ve created the best loadout for it.

When people look back at the integration of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, many will look back on it fondly, and some will be instantly reminded of three simple letters – DMR. A terrific weapon by its own accord in BOCW, the weapon became an absolute Meta-breaker in Warzone.

This meant that Kilo 141 loadouts and MP5 loadouts became a thing of the past. However, much complaining about its overpowered nature meant that the DMR nerf finally came into effect. This has opened the door to a new potential new go-to weapon of choice.

Interestingly, murmurings and wonderings have insinuated that the Fennec has secretly been buffed and is now a potent killer. So we’ve put together a loadout with the best Attachments and Perks to maximize the gun’s potential.

Best Fennec Warzone loadout

  • Barrel: ZLR18” Deadfall
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 40 Round Drum Mags

The Barrel is an easy choice as the ZLR18″ Deadfall increases the weapon’s damage output at range and gets some of the volatile SMG recoil under control. We’ve opted for a Laser and think that the Tac Laser is built for immense speed. Considering the recoil is a tad more ferocious with an SMG, aiming down your sight quicker might counteract any missed shots.

For Stock, we’ve removed it altogether as some minor recoil increases are gladly compensated for with snappier ADS time. Our Underbarrel selection is the fairly common Merc Foregrip as the additional hip-fire accuracy allows the Fennec to be unreal in close-quarters. Finally, for Ammunition, we’ve gone for the popular 40 Round Drum Mags to give us a bit more comfort with extra bullets in a 1v1.

Best Warzone Perks to use with Fennec

Perk 1 – Double Time

Description: Double the duration of Tactical Sprint. Increase crouch movement speed by 30%.

As with most SMGs, you’ll want to do your best to quickly close the gap on your opponents. Combined with the extra running you’ll be doing to make it to Safe Zones, sprinting will be a big part of this loadout. So increasing your stamina is a massive bonus.

Perk 2 – High Alert

Description: Your vision pulses when enemies outside of your view see you. Multiplayer: also triggered by enemies controlling chopper gunners, wheelsons, IAVs and APCs.

This perk gives you ample time to anticipate threats and evade danger. Again, given that you need to remain mobile and you’re more nimble with an SMG, it complements the weapon perfectly.

Perk 3 – Amped

Description: Faster weapon swap and rocket launcher reload speed. Does not affect swapping to pistols and knives. Most equipment is used faster.

An SMG can chew through an ammo clip in seconds, and this can leave you exposed in a firefight. So quicker weapon swapping is key, and a tasty Shotgun can help you to finish off the enemy.

That’s our best Warzone loadout for the underutilized Fennec SMG. At the very least, you should give it a try and see if some aspects of it work well for you.

Big changes previewed for Warzone Season 3 including FFAR & Sykov nerfs.

Roze Skin - COD: Warzone

Raven Software has dropped a preview of some changes coming to Call of Duty: Warzone with the Season 3 update.

The studio responded to a big Twitter thread by YouTuber CourageJD. Courage dropped a list of major changes he wants to see to bring Warzone back to a better place, especially with a lot of the fan complaints.

Raven Software replied to CourageJD’s thread with a preview of some of the changes the studio is making to Call of Duty: Warzone soon, including many coming with Season 3 update on April 22.

Warzone Season 3 Updates

The studio also told Courage that they want to “reassure” fans that all feedback is being read around Warzone.

More Surprises To Come

Raven has promised in another tweet that there are more “surprises” in store for Season 3 that will be announced with the update.
