Grav in Black Ops Cold War

With a new Cold War season comes new weapons, and Season 6’s Grav brings back the classic Galil. It’s shaping up to be a powerful choice, so we’ve got the best attachments and Perks to dominate with it.

The sixth and final season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is here, and alongside the new Zombies map and Mason, it’s brought back the fan-favorite Galil in the form of the Grav. This Assault Rifle is looking to be one of the game’s better offerings, so is well worth unlocking.

To help you get the best performance from the Grav, we’ve got the attachments and Perks you should be running in Cold War Season 6’s multiplayer.

Best Cold War Grav loadout attachments

Grav in Black Ops Cold War
  • Optic: Microflex LED
  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: 19.8″ Ranger
  • Body: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Magazine: RK-7 30 Rnd Conversion
  • Handle: Airborne Pistol Grip
  • Stock: Raider Stock

This Cold War Grav loadout is all about getting the weapon to a place where you can easily take down targets at range, and compete with weapons such as the EM2. Bear in mind that you need to be running the Gunfighter Wildcard to get all eight attachments.

While the Grav does have relatively clean Iron Sights, we feel that the Microflex LED vastly improves its accuracy and tracking ability. Next, the Suppressor will keep you off the minimap, allowing you to pull off some awesome flanks and eliminate several enemies before they know what’s hit them.

Mason using grav in cold war season 6

This does slightly impact its bullet velocity, so we recommend the 19.8″ Ranger barrel. Giving a huge boost to velocity, your bullets will hit the enemies faster and moving targets will be easier to track. And to help see these far-off targets, the Tiger Team Spotlight reveals enemy nameplates.

The Grav does have a considerable kick, so the Field Agent Grip will be a huge help in reigning in the recoil. And to make the weapon do even more damage to compete with the best Assault Rifles, you should use the RK-7 30 Rnd Conversion.

And for a lot more speed and mobility, you should combine the Airborne Pistol Grip and Raider Stock. You’ll get your gun up faster, move faster, and will be able to dropshot.

Best Perks to run with the Grav in Cold War Season 6

Flak Jacket Perk Cold War
  • Perk 1: Flak Jacket
  • Perk 2: Scavenger
  • Perk 3: Ghost

You’ll be using the Gunfighter Wildcard with the Grav, so you’ll only get to use one Perk from each slot.

If you’re playing objective modes, expect several grenades and other explosives to come your way. Flak Jacket significantly reduces explosive damage taken, so is vital for Cold War.

Next, you don’t want to have to drop your Grav after running out of ammo, so Scavenger will keep your ammo topped up as you resupply from other players’ bodies.

And finally, the Ghost Perk will hide you from Spy Planes, catching anyone watching the minimap completely off guard.

How to unlock the Grav in Cold War Season 6

Players can earn the Grav completely for free by reaching Tier 31 of the Cold War Season 6 Battle Pass.

There’s nothing else to it apart from that, you just need to play multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone until you earn enough XP to unlock the Grav.

Best alternatives to the Grav in Cold War Season 6

If you haven’t unlocked the Grav or it’s not your cup of tea, there are plenty of viable alternatives in Cold War. The AK-47 is an absolute powerhouse that will chew through enemies but if you’re looking for something more accurate, you can never go wrong with the Krig 6.
