Best Vargo 52 loadout for Black Ops Cold War
The brand-new Vargo 52 Assault Rifle has arrived in Black Ops Cold War, so here are all of the attachments, Perks, and Equipment you need to create the best loadout.
Although Treyarch have been busy with Vanguard Zombies and Ranked Play, they’ve still had time to give Black Ops Cold War players some new content. Black Ops 1’s classic WMD map is on the way, and the new Vargo 52 Assault Rifle has arrived.
With a pretty fast fire rate and low recoil, the Vargo is an excellent choice for Cold War’s larger maps – although it can still keep up on small maps like Nuketown ’84. To maximize the Vargo 52’s potential, we’ve got the best attachments, Perks, and Equipment you can use in Black Ops Cold War.

Best Cold War Vargo 52 loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Spetsnaz Compensator
- Barrel: 17.1″ VDV Reinforced
- Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
- Magazine: 40 Rnd
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
We’ve equipped the Vargo 52 with attachments that improve its recoil control and range, as well as give it enough bullets to take down multiple opponents.
Combining the Spetsnaz Compensator and 17.1″ VDV Reinforced barrel will make the Vargo 52 incredibly accurate, and also give a nice buff to its bullet velocity.
Then, we’ve added the Spetsnaz Grip for extra recoil control, the 40 Rnd magazine because it burns through 30 rounds fast, and the Serpent Wrap for some extra ADS speed.
Best Cold War Vargo 52 Perks & Equipment
- Perk 1: Flak Jacket & Tactical Mask
- Perk 2: Scavenger & Assassin
- Perk 3: Ghost & Ninja
- Lethal Equipment: Semtex
- Tactical Equipment: Stimshot
The Vargo 52 is still effective with only five attachments, so we’re using the Perk Greed Wildcard to equip extra Perks in each slot.
Flak Jacket and Tactical Mask are a perfect combination for Perk 1, allowing you to survive a bombardment of explosives and resist Stun Grenades and pesky Gas Mines. Then, you can use Scavenger to keep your ammo topped up and Assassin to make earning Scorestreaks even easier.
We also recommend using Ghost to remain hidden on the radar, and Ninja to move around the map quietly and flank the enemy.
Semtex is a great choice for Lethal Equipment, and the Stimshot will ensure you can heal and get back into the fight extremely fast.
How to unlock Vargo 52 in Black Ops Cold War
Black Ops Cold War’s new Vargo 52 Assault Rifle can be unlocked in both multiplayer and Zombies, giving players plenty of options. Here’s how to unlock it in both of Cold War’s game modes:
- Multiplayer: Using Assault Rifles, deal 1000 damage in 15 different completed matches
- Zombies: Eliminate 750 enemies while using an Assault Rifle that has been Pack-a-Punched three times
You shouldn’t find getting the Vargo 52 too difficult in multiplayer, just make sure you’re getting around 15 kills with an Assault Rifle, and don’t back out of the match.
