Warzone DMR 14

Although Black Ops Cold War’s DMR 14 has been nerfed in Warzone, with the right attachments it can still be highly effective. Here’s a perfect loadout to dominate enemies with it in Warzone Season 2.

The DMR 14 has been nerfed twice in Call of Duty Warzone. When the Black Ops Cold War weapons first arrived in the game, the DMR 14 quickly became the meta. With minimal recoil and extremely high damage, almost every player used it.

However, this weapon can still be used to dominate enemies in Warzone Season 2, even after the nerfs. You can further enhance this weapon’s capabilities with a few select attachments and perks before jumping into Verdansk.

Best DMR 14 Warzone Season 2 attachments

DMR 14 in Warzone Season 2
  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer
  • Barrel:  20.8″ Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
  • Ammo: Salvo 40 Rnd Fast Mag

Pair this semi-automatic Tactical Rifle with an SMG such as the MAC-10 or MP5 and you’ll have Warzone’s deadliest weapons in your loadout. It’s best suited for medium-range, but can even be effective at long distance if you take your time with shots.

The Agency Silencer now acts much the same as Modern Warfare’s Monolithic Suppressor. This muzzle attachment quickly became the Warzone meta for taking you off the mini-map and providing a boost to damage range. It’s a vital attachment for the DMR 14.

To increase the rifle’s damage, effective damage range and bullet velocity, we went with the 20.8″ Task Force barrel. This will allow you to hit moving targets from far away, at the cost of increased vertical and horizontal recoil.

The good news is that the Field Agent Foregrip will make up for that, so you can keep shots under control. This will allow you to take full advantage of the DMR 14’s power during medium and long-range combat.

For optics, we’ve gone with the Axial Arms 3x scope. It’s mostly down to preference, but the 3x provides perfect magnification without being too obtrusive. This is as close as you can get to Modern Warfare’s incredibly popular VLK scope.

Finally, select the Salvo 40 Rnd Fast Mag as they offer extra ammo, and an increased reload time. This will give you more leeway to miss a few shots during long-range encounters, as you won’t have to worry about reloading too often.

Best perks to run with Warzone DMR 14

Warzone Amped Perk
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped

Since you’ll mostly use this weapon in medium-range encounters, you’ll need protection against enemies with explosives. For that reason, we recommend equipping the E.O.D perk, which will reduce incoming explosive damage.

You should also get Ghost since it hides you from Heartbeat Sensors and UAVs, which will allow you to get the drop on your enemy. Finally, Amped will allow you to quickly swap between weapons in the midst of battle.

How to unlock the DMR 14 in Warzone Season 2

Once you are Level 49 you will unlock the DMR 14 automatically in Warzone Season 2. You won’t need to own the Battle Pass in order to gain access to this weapon.

With Black Ops Cold War being integrated into Warzone, the gun will be available for you to use in both of these titles.

Best alternatives to Warzone’s DMR 14

There are a few viable alternatives to the DMR 14 that you can try out in combat. With minimal recoil and solid damage output, the M4 is great for mid-range combat, and you can pair it with a sniper rifle.

If you need a support weapon for fighting in these close-medium range engagements, the AK-47 is an excellent choice in Season 2 with its strong time-to-kill and high bullet velocity.

Roze Skin - COD: Warzone

Raven Software has dropped a preview of some changes coming to Call of Duty: Warzone with the Season 3 update.

The studio responded to a big Twitter thread by YouTuber CourageJD. Courage dropped a list of major changes he wants to see to bring Warzone back to a better place, especially with a lot of the fan complaints.

Raven Software replied to CourageJD’s thread with a preview of some of the changes the studio is making to Call of Duty: Warzone soon, including many coming with Season 3 update on April 22.

Warzone Season 3 Updates

  • An adjustment to Roze
  • A significant balance pass to weapons such as the Tac Rifle Charlie, M16, FFAR 1, and Sykov
  • Fix for MW weapon perks + sniper glint

The studio also told Courage that they want to “reassure” fans that all feedback is being read around Warzone.

More Surprises To Come

Raven has promised in another tweet that there are more “surprises” in store for Season 3 that will be announced with the update.

Other changes expected for Season 3 is a revamp of Verdansk map, which will see the map be transported and rebuilt for the 1980s Black Ops Cold War era.

Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone is set to being on April 22, with an initial event teased for April 21 starting at 12PM PT. Exact launch times for the new content will be announced soon.
