The Setup
- Optic: Hawksmoor: Precision sight picture makes for a clear view of enemies in your optic. Great for medium range fights. Can be substituted with a sniper scope if you want to play less aggressively.
- Barrel: 20.8″ Task Force – Faster bullet travel time, more overall bullet damage and a 100% boost to effective damage range. Adds additional vertical and horizontal recoil. Turns the DMR 14 into a mobile all-purpose sniper.
- Body: Tiger Team Spotlight – 40% reveal distance boost. Allows you to see enemies at further ranges (their health bars) and also lets you spot enemies through the bushes in Cartel. For medium to long-distance fights, you’ll see enemies much easier and faster. This gives you a huge edge, especially if you get the first shot off.
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip – Huge reduction to horizontal recoil and a bit to vertical recoil. Helps you recenter the weapon after each shot much faster.
- Magazine: 30 Round – More ammo, no cons. If you miss a few shots, you’ll have plenty more remaining.
Tips For The Field
- Big Brain Required – Think before you run into a fight. You don’t want to be stuck against a submachine gun in CQC. Ideally, you want to shoot an enemy at medium range. Prop up on a solid piece of cover and unleash carnage.
- BOOM HEADSHOT! – Aim for the head. Seriously. Don’t spray at the torso. Clicking heads has never been more fun. Upper torso shots are also highly lethal.
- Be the overwatch – Is your team running at an objective? Sit back, call out enemies, and flush down their HP pool with a few well-placed shots. Your team will thank you.
Now get out there and start tapping some heads.
