Best FFAR 1 loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 2

BOCW’s FFAR is an Assault Rifle with an incredible fire rate, so here’s the best attachments to maximize its potential in Warzone Season 2.

Warzone FFAR 1

The FFAR 1 is a Black Ops Cold War Assault Rifle with an exceptional rate of fire, so here’s the best loadout to maximize its potential in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2.

Although being an Assault Rifle, the FFAR is one of the strongest ground-loot weapons in Warzone Season 2, thanks to its excellent rate of fire with manageable recoil. It also acts similarly to Modern Warfare’s RAM-7, which has been a popular choice in previous seasons. It can melt armor at close range while also being known to shred at longer ranges.

The FFAR has dominated Warzone Season 2 and in the Mid-Season 2 update on March 30, the FFAR was secretly nerfed. The popular Takedown barrel had its bullet velocity and strafe speed buffs removed, and the 50 Rnd Speed Mag now adds a bunch of ADS time.

With these changes in mind, here are the best attachments to maximize the FFAR’s potential in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

Best FFAR Warzone attachments

Best Season 2 FFAR loadout
  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 21.2″ Ranger
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd Mag
  • Stock: Raider Stock

We’ve built this FFAR to dominate at medium range, although this gun has become the go-to weapon for close-quarters combat in Warzone Season 2.

For attachments, we’re starting with Raider Stock. Slap this beast of an attachment on for increased strafe speed and aim-down-sight speed for medium and close-range engagements. The 21.2″ Ranger Barrell has the best bullet velocity for the FFAR, making medium-range and even some longer-range engagements a breeze.

Thanks to the fix for Cold War suppressors, the Agency Suppressor is now a must-have, making sure you stay off enemy maps. The STANAG 50 Rnd Mag will give you much more bullets to take down multiple enemies without a big hit to your ADS speed.

Best perks for FFAR Warzone loadout

Battle Hardened perk in Warzone Season 2
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Battle Hardened

The FFAR dominates up close, so you’ll be most likely have a ton of explosives coming your way. In order to combat this, E.O.D will allow you to tank plenty of explosives and stay in the fight.

Ghost is always useful to stay hidden from enemy UAVs, while Battle Hardened will lessen the effects of flash and stun grenades, meaning you can push players a little easier.

How to unlock the FFAR 1 in Warzone Season 2

Thankfully, there are no challenges to unlock the FFAR for Warzone Season 2, but you will need to reach level 40 for the Assault Rifle to become available.

The good news is that progression carries over between Warzone and Black Ops Cold War so no matter which game you’re playing, you’re always gaining XP that can go towards getting the FFAR.

Best FFAR 1 Warzone Season 2 alternatives

The FFAR 1 is extremely powerful up close but if you’re finding it difficult to control, the MAC-10 or MP5 strong SMGs.

If you’re finding that the FFAR is tough to get kills with at long range, then the AUG is the go-to gun in Season 2, and running these together with Overkill makes for the strongest Warzone class.

Crazy Warzone exploit gives Akimbo Sykov Pistols zero recoil & 100% accuracy

Although Warzone’s Sykov will be nerfed soon, a new glitch is giving the Akimbo full-auto Pistols complete accuracy and no recoil.

Warzone dual Sykovs

A crazy new Warzone exploit is reportedly turning the already meta-defining Sykov Pistol into a 100% accurate monster with zero recoil.

Since its release in Modern Warfare and Warzone, the Sykov Pistol dominated all close-range fights. With a blisteringly high fire rate, 80 Round Mags, and the option to wield it akimbo, the dual Sykov’s became an overnight meta.

After players were frustrated with another meta-breaking gun arriving in the game, replying to a thread of Warzone issues from streamer CouRage, Raven Software promised “a significant balance pass” to the Sykov, as well as the AUG, M16, and FFAR 1.

However, a new exploit is turning these powerful pistols into 100% accurate laser beams with no recoil.

Warzone streamer Stukawaki demonstrated this new exploit in Plunder. After parachuting down, standing just outside of the optimum range for the akimbo Sykov’s, Stu unloads a barrage of bullets that land directly on the crosshair with 100% accuracy and seemingly no recoil.

From the clip, it appears that Stu is only using one Sykov (the ammo is only displayed for one Pistol), and the game has been glitched to show two. Whatever happened, it’s clear that this Sykov exploit makes the weapons 100% accurate.

Until the new sidearm has been adjusted, the only drawback to the Sykov’s unbelievable damage at point-blank range is its recoil. These two pistols firing off 160 rounds at full-auto will rise considerably after prolonged firing, and the weapons will become ineffective outside of the hip-fire accuracy range.

Warzone Akimbo Sykov Pistols

This exploit takes away the only thing holding the Sykov back, so although reports say that this exploit is easier to replicate in Plunder, it’s possible you will see it making its way into your games of battle royale.

Although several changes slated for Season 3, including adjustments to the Roze skin and the leaked Verdansk 1980s overhaul following the nuke event, Raven Software are yet to acknowledge this new exploit.
