The Heavy Sniper Rifle is one of the popular weapons unvaulted in Chapter 4 Season 2. It is one of the few weapons in the game that can eliminate a player with a single accurate headshot. The only drawback of the Heavy Sniper Rifle is its reload speed, shining glint, and fire rate. You need to be exceptionally accurate while using this gun, and even one properly connected shot can deal devastating damage to opponents. The Heavy Sniper Rifle is available as ground loot, in chests, and you’ll also get better variants of this weapon in holo-chests.

4. Highcard’s Havoc Suppressed Rifle
This is another weapon that was added in Chapter 4 Season 2. To get the Highcard’s Havoc Suppressed Rifle, you need to defeat the Highcard Boss NPC. He will spawn with two Wildcard NPCs in three different locations on the map. Once you defeat him, the boss will drop the weapon along with a vault keycard to access the vaults.
Highcard’s Havoc Suppressed Rifle is a fully automatic gun that is an excellent choice for close to mid-range engagements.
DPS | Fire Rate | Reload Time | Mag Size |
156 | 6 | 2.12s | 30 |
3. Havoc Pump Shotgun
The Havoc Pump Shotgun is perhaps a worthy successor to the fan-favorite Pump Shotgun. This weapon is a powerful short-range gun that can deal over 120 damage with headshots to your enemies. You will get the Mythic version of this weapon from the vaults after defeating the Highcard Boss NPC.
This Boss drops the vault keycard that can grant you access inside the vaults. Alternatively, lower rarities of the Havoc Pump Shotgun can be found as ground loot, in chests, and from vending machines.

2. Overclocked Pulse Rifle
The Overclocked Pulse Rifle is one of the new weapons added this season, and it’s the perfect combination between an SMG and an Assault Rifle. You can find this weapon from the vault at Loot Island when it spawns in the game.
The Overclocked Pulse Rifle is brilliant at close-range, as it has a tight hip fire spread. The weapon also has a high fire rate, meaning you can knock down multiple enemies with accurate shots within a short span.
DPS | Fire Rate | Reload Time | Mag Size |
199.5 | 3.5 | 2.68s | 20 |
1. Kinetic Blade
The Kinetic Blade is the newly added melee weapon in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 that has replaced the Shockwave Hammer. The threateningly beautiful-looking Katana has a purple hue to it, showing its origins from the kinetic rocks found last season.
The Kinetic Blade comes with two signature attacks, and one of them is the Knockback Slash. It allows you to knock back enemies far away each time you use it on them at close-range. The second attack is the Dash Attack which gives you an aerial boost in any direction, but it requires a cooldown time after three charges.
You can find these as ground loot, in chests, inside vaults, and at houses on the southeastern half of the map this season in Fortnite.
That covers our best Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 weapons. As always, we expect more weapons to be added as the season goes on, which will surely shake up the meta even further.
