Fortnite Season 6 best landing spots

A few major map changes have arrived in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6, which means that there are brand new locations for you to land in. Here are the best ones on the island.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6 has brought a plethora of exciting new content for fans to enjoy. This includes various new weapons, challenges, and brand-new Battle Pass to progress through. Fortnite Island has also received some map changes.

These map changes include the addition of new areas like Colossal Crops, Boney Burbs, and The Spire that has replaced the Zero Point from Season 5. We’ll go over the five best places to land on in Fortnite Season 6.

Fortnite Season 6

Sweaty Sands

The Primal Season of Fortnite combines the new areas with classic locations Sweaty Sands, which is the POI with the most chest spawns on The Island. Your best chance is to search the tallest building on the East side of the area.

The best part is that this area often has relatively low player traffic, so you’ll encounter less danger when visiting. If you do find yourself overwhelmed by enemies, you can use the nearby water or vehicles to escape.

The Spire

The Zero Point used to be the center of the map in Season 5, but it is now enclosed in a tower called The Spire, which is one of the new additions in the latest update. This is also where you can get yourself the Mythic Primal Shotgun.

The buildings around the base of the tower contain plenty of loot for you to collect, but you’ll face intense competition from your opponents. Since it’s a new area, other players will be visiting it frequently.

If you want to gain an advantage over them, then we recommend going to the top of the tower to start picking them off. You’ll be at a great vantage point from which you can observe the other players’ movements.

Dirty Docks

Dirty Docks is one of the richest spots on the map, in terms of chests. This hasn’t changed in Fortnite Season 6, as you can look through 28 chests for weapons, which will help you early on in the match.

You can also find materials to farm for the game’s new crafting system. Not many players visit this area, and there are various vehicles that you can use to rotate towards another part of the map after you’re done looting.

Compact Cars

The reason we recommend landing at this spot is because of the different benefits that it offers you. You can visit Compact Cars, and use the Mechanical Gears to upgrade your weapons so that you can improve your chances of victory.

As the name implies, you can find vehicles in this area, and use them to immediately escape if other players start showing up. However, since this is a remote location that’s unmarked on the Fortnite map, we wouldn’t worry about that too much.

Weeping Woods

The Weeping Woods is filled with wild animals that you can hunt down or tame. You can also enter the cabins, and search them for loot such as weapons and shield potions. Another major draw of this area is its proximity to some Guardian Towers.

You can find six of these on Fortnite Island, and compete with other players to search through chests. After you’ve got your fill of loot, you can enter the woods by using the launch pads.

Keep in mind that Season 6 just started, so Epic Games will likely bring many more changes to the map in the coming months. We could see existing areas changed due to crossovers with other franchises, and special events.

When that happens, we’ll be sure to update this guide accordingly. We’ll also keep you posted about the latest Fortnite Season 6 news, leaks, and guides.

The Fortnite Rift Tour event has its own tab in the game’s menu, where you will be able to find everything related to this upcoming event.

This tab is where you will find the full schedule for the show, where you will organize which of the shows you and your friends will be attending.

All that you need to do to complete the Fortnite save the date in the Rift Tour tab is click on one of the black boxes that can be found at the bottom of each of the show options.

It is important to note that this is not an RSVP for the show and that it does not guarantee you will get into the event, as there are sure to be server limits when it comes to how many players can be in the game, such as with Fortnite events in the past.

Players are recommended to show up an hour before the show’s start time they would like to attend to make sure they have a place, as the playlists for each show will go live 30 minutes before.

This is one of the easier quests available for the upcoming musical event, so players will be wise to set aside a couple of minutes to complete the Fortnite save the date in the Rift Tour tab challenge.

Fortnite player count: How many people play in 2021

How many people play Fortnite? There are different marks we can look at to give a view of the Fortnite player count in the year of 2021.

How Many People Play Fortnite Player Count

Fortnite is one of the most popular video games ever, but what is the official Fortnite player count? We’ve got all the statistics you need, including 2021 and all-time numbers.

When Fortnite Battle Royale launched in September 2018, few could have imagined that it would dominate pop culture in the manner it has since then. From musicians like Marshmello and Ariana Grande, to athletes like LeBron James, Epic Game’s free-to-play title has dominated gaming for almost three years.

Of course, it’s not just the stars that have flocked to Fortnite. The game’s free-to-play status meant that anyone could download, jump in, and play with their friends, and millions of gamers around the world have done just that over the years.

How many people have actually played Fortnite though, and how many are actively playing in 2021. We’ve got all the information you need to appreciate the true smash hit Fortnite is.

Unfortunately, Epic Games don’t keep track of how many players are actively playing the game at any one moment. Thankfully, there are some statistics that we can use to estimate the game’s current player count.

Using PlayerCounter, we can see that there are anywhere from 6 – 12 million people playing Fortnite daily. This number increases on special occasions, like in-game events or new seasons, driving the number closer to 15 million players.

Now, Epic Games does not regularly provide live updates when it comes to how many people have played or are currently playing. Still, there are some benchmarks that the game has reached since 2018 that give the community an idea of how large the Fortnite player count currently is.

August of 2018 saw a Fortnite player count of 78,000,000, which is not surprising, as this was during the height of popularity during the game’s rise into stardom.

2019 saw a concurrent player count of 12,500,000 in the game, and 2020 saw a record-high number of people playing when 15,300,000 came together to experience the Galactus event.

2020 also saw Epic Games report that Fortnite had 350 million registered accounts. However, one player can create multiple accounts, so registered accounts do not exactly mean 350,000,000 players. A year later, it’s likely that number has increased, and could even be close to 400 million total accounts.
