Developers and modders have worked to keep the Halo series alive. The Halo MCC brought all of the original titles to PC, and the live servers ensure that its multiplayer will never die. However, applying the best Halo MCC mods can breathe new life into the games.
Ruby’s Rebalanced Campaigns
The first time you play through a Halo campaign is pretty memorable, and some of the missions are fun to revisit. But nothing really changes with each playthrough. It would be cool if there were a way to make each campaign feel brand new.

Halo Reach Prometheus Mod
The Prometheus Mod for Halo Reach completely overhauls the campaign to deliver a brand new experience. It’s not just a rebalance that makes the game more challenging. This mod adds 20 new weapons, new vehicles, enemies, and more.
No stone has been left unturned in this mod. Modder BestSakuyaNA has reworked every encounter and revamped the AI’s intelligence to ensure the player doesn’t know what’s coming next.
Custom Spartan in Halo Campaigns
Playing with the same army green Spartan armor in each campaign can get pretty old, especially when you can design such a cool Spartan in the game’s Multiplayer mode. Some of the best Halo MCC mods are made by modder generalkidd.
Some of generalkidd’s mods allow players to use their custom multiplayer Spartan in the campaign, while others let you play as Master Chief in games where you usually can’t. We have provided a list of mods and links below.

This mod comes with a new storyline and also comes with additional lore to make for a more immersive experience in what is easily one of the best Halo MCC mods.
