Best Bryson 800 loadout in Modern Warfare 2

Shotguns are a powerful tool in Modern Warfare 2, and the Bryson 800 is one of the most devasting in its class with the right setup. Check out the best Bryson 800 loadout in Modern Warfare 2, complete with the best attachments, Perks, and equipment.

Modern Warfare 2 features plenty of weapon variety to cater to any and all playstyles. There are balanced Assault Rifles like the M4 and deadly long-range Sniper Rifles that can pick off enemies from a distance.

One of the most underrated categories in MW2 is the Shotguns, which are capable of wiping an enemy off the map in the blink of an eye. The Bryson 800 is up there with the best in the Shotgun category, and can one-shot other players with the correct build.

Here’s the best Bryson 800 in Modern Warfare 2, including the ideal attachments, Perks, and equipment.

Best Modern Warfare 2 Bryson 800 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Bryson Improved Choke
  • Barrel: 21.5″ Bryson Shredder
  • Laser: Stovl Tac Laser
  • Stock: Sawed-Off Mode
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple

We begin our best MW2 Bryson 800 loadout with the Bryson Improved Choke Muzzle for a boost to damage range and pellet spread, helping the Shotgun hold its own in slightly longer range fights. Then we’ve got the 21.5″ Bryson Shredder for better recoil control and bullet velocity.

Shotguns are mostly used as hipfire weapons, so we’ve also used the Stovl Tac Laser for greater accuracy without aiming down the sights. This pairs nicely with the VX Pineapple, which buffs hipfire recoil control.

Last up is the Sawed-Off Mode option for the Stock, giving the Bryson 800 better mobility and a faster sprint-to-fire speed. With this combination of attachments, the Bryson becomes a surprisingly mobile Shotgun than can defeat enemies in a single shot at close to mid-range.

Best Modern Warfare 2 Bryson 800 Perks & equipment

  • Base Perk 1: Overkill
  • Base Perk 2: Battle Hardened
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: Ghost
  • Lethal: Drill Charge
  • Tactical: FlashGrenade
  • Field Upgrade: Battle Rage

While the Bryson 800 is deadly at close-range, Modern Warfare 2’s varied maps often force you into long-range fights. For this reason, we recommend equipping the Overkill Perk to bring along another primary weapon, like the STB 556.

Then we’ve gone for Battle Hardened to help reduce the effects of Flash and Stun Grenades while you bomb around the map. For the Bonus Perk, Fast Hands will let you quickly switch between weapons so you always have the right tool for the job at hand.

In the Ultimate Perk slot, Ghost is the best option as it allows you to get the drop on enemies by staying off their UAVs late in the game.

Drill Charges are a new addition to Modern Warfare 2, and they’re ideal for clearing out a room without even having to see inside it. Then we’ve picked Flash Grenades to disorientate enemies before you move in for the kill.

Lastly, if you’re running a shotgun then Battle Rage is a must-have Field Upgrade. It boosts your health regeneration and offers unlimited tactical, briefly turning you into a virtually unstoppable tank.

How to unlock the Bryson 800 in Modern Warfare 2

The good news is that the Bryson 800 is automatically unlocked when you first boot up Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer, so there’s no need to unlock it.

It’s worth keeping in mind though that can’t begin experimenting with attachments until you reach Level 4 and custom loadouts become available.

Best Bryson 800 alternatives in Modern Warfare 2

If you want another Shotgun to try out, the Expedite 12 is another solid option that can quickly stop enemies in their tracks.

However, if you want a close-range gun with more versatility, we’d recommend going for the Fennec 45 SMG.
