Best PC graphics settings for Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 has released on PC and is a very demanding game. Here’s the best settings to maximize gameplay, aesthetics, and frames.

Here’s the best PC settings for max framerate and quality for Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 has finally been released and is a highly demanding game. So demanding, in fact, that our 3080 rig barely squeezed above 70 FPS at high settings.

It’s no secret that at launch, the game is poorly optimized. Many PC fans will have to settle for 30 FPS if they’re looking for visual quality but can see up to 60 FPS when dropping settings down to low.

To guarantee maximum performance mixed with a beautiful gameplay experience, we’re going to give you a mixture of settings to guarantee a balance. Before we start, make sure you go into your graphics settings and follow along.

Basic Settings

The basic settings for graphics don’t affect performance as much as they affect the gameplay experience. Most settings here are purely visual. We recommend turning off motion blur and playing at a 75-80 Field of View.

There’s always lots of action on screen, and a high FOV can cause motion sickness.

Advanced Settings

Before we get into this, if you have a high-end graphics card, lowering settings like “Level of Detail” and “Shadows” won’t do much to your FPS count. It seems the low FPS issue is linked to the game, not hardware. For the majority not on the highest-end hardware, follow along.

  • Contact Shadows Off
  • Improved Facial Lighting Geometry – Off
  • Anisotropy 8 (1 for low end cards)
  • Local Shadow Mesh Quality – Low
  • Local Shadow Quality – Medium
  • Cascaded Shadows Range – Low
  • Distant Shadows Resolution – Low
  • Volumetric Fog Resolution – Medium
  • Volumetric Cloud Quality – Medium
  • Max Dynamic Decals – Medium
  • Screen Space Reflections Quality – Off
  • Subsurface Scattering Quality – Low
  • Ambient Occlusion – Medium for visuals, low for FPS
  • Color Precision – Low
  • Mirror Quality – Low
  • Level Of Detail (LOD) – Low on most cards, Medium on 2070/3060TI
  • Ray Tracing – If you’re on a 2000 series NVIDIA card, you can use this on the higher end range. On our 3080 setup, turning off this setting only occasionally gave us a 5 FPS boost.
  • Resolution Scaling – DLSS Performance

Hopefully, this is of help. Unfortunately, for those who own a high-end gaming rig, this won’t be of much help if you want to get the most out of your PC due to launch optimization issues.

CPU usage for this game is very high, even with low FPS, and is a huge limiter for many systems. If you drop quality and don’t notice a big FPS boost, it’s worth playing on the higher settings and dealing with targeting 60 FPS until a patch is released.

Get unlimited money, crafting materials & more with new Cyberpunk exploit

A new, even more powerful Cyberpunk 2077 infinite money glitch has been found, allowing you to duplicate any item in the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a lot of flak for how many bugs it has. In this case, the bugs work in favor of the player, allowing you to earn an unlimited amount of free money and items.

The release of Cyberpunk 2077 was unfortunately clouded by the number of bugs present within an otherwise brilliant single-player game. Not all of the bugs work against you, though.

Since the game came out, several players have discovered infinite money exploits that are incredibly easy to perform. The most popular exploit has to do with selling the map you receive from a mission over and over again.

If you don’t already know about this exploit, you can take a look at it here. This new duplication glitch is an evolution of this system.

The original infinite money glitch

We’ll briefly touch on the original infinite money glitch in case you don’t know about it.

The exploit starts by completing the ‘Space Oddity’ mission. As a reward for completing the mission, the player receives a map that’s worth 4,000 Euro Dollars. You can find the mission located on the map shown below.

From there, all you need to do is sell the map to a vendor terminal, back out, and repurchase it for $5. This single item offered players an unlimited source of money, but it’s gotten even better.

The new duplication glitch

YouTuber TagBackTV, one of the first people to publicize the original exploit, found another step in the process that allows you to duplicate the map and any other item in your inventory.

This means that you can unlock an unlimited number of crafting materials, rare items, and the $4,000 Eddie map from the original exploit.

To do this, you complete the same process as before but put the map and anything else you want to duplicate into the terminal. From there, you will hit the “sell” and “menu” buttons at the same time. This is escape and R on keyboard, and select and Y on Xbox.

You may have to try this a few times to get it right, but you’re looking for a “sell” screen with a transparent background. When we tried this, we found it much easier to complete on a controller rather than on a keyboard, for some reason.

Once you hit the right screen, you can buy all of the items you put into the terminal an unlimited number of times. You can mash F, A, or X (depending on your input) to get as many maps as your heart desires.

We play on PC, so we were able to macro F and spam it for two minutes, granting us over 6,000 maps. This equates to $24 million eddies – enough to buy everything in the game three times over.

This method will undoubtedly get patched sooner or later, but CD Projekt Red have some bigger issues on their plate. It’s there if you want to do it. If not, then you can just ignore it.

Does this exploit ruin the enjoyment of the game? In our opinion, it doesn’t. If anything, being able to buy all of the cool cars, cyberware, and everything else only adds to the enjoyment.

Money doesn’t make you invincible, and we’re doing all of the missions because we want to experience the content, not because we want to make money.

As we said, this exploit won’t be in the game forever, so it’s worth taking advantage of while it’s here. Now, you can buy all of those fancy cars the Fixers keep contacting you about.

Cyberware implants help you upgrade your character’s stats and combat capabilities. Here are some of the best ones.

Cyberware pieces upgrade your abilities and help you survive in the dangerous world of Night City and you can customize them in Cyberpunk 2077. Here are the ones that should absolutely get.

There is a lot of beauty in the futuristic setting of Night City, but behind all the neon and dazzle is a world of danger. The streets in Cyberpunk 2077 are filled with threats around every corner. You’ll encounter deadly criminals, and your best chance of survival will be to upgrade your character with Cyberware.

These pieces of tech will improve your stats and combat capabilities, but they can be extremely costly. For this reason, you should save up, and then invest in the the best ones available. It can be hard to decide which ones to get, so we’re here to help with that.

Here’s everything you need to know about Cyberware upgrades, and what are the best pieces for you to purchase.

Changing Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077

How to get Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077

Once you get to the fourth story mission of the campaign, you’ll have to pay a visit to a Ripperdoc named Viktor Vector. You can find this doctor in Night City’s Watson District and can enter his operating room via Misty’s shop. Once you’re there, you can check out all the Cyberware upgrades available.

You can get more pieces from other Ripperdocs in the city as you progress through the campaign. Finish certain missions, and then visit these individuals to buy some enhancements. You can find a total of five Ripperdocs across the different territories of Night City.

How does Cyberware work?

You can use the Cyberware to increase your character’s stats by altering their body parts. Each limb you choose to enhance will have a limited amount of Cyberware components that be upgraded. Some are suited to different character builds and certain enhancements will unlock amazing new abilities.

These prosthetics can help you improve your chances of survival in battle, and you can swamp implants whenever you need to. Many of these upgrades will be expensive, but it’s worth it to enhance your prowess in combat.

The 5 best Cyberware pieces

Installing Cyberware is costly, so you should pick the pieces you get wisely. It’s difficult to recognize which ones are the “best,” since that depends entirely on your character build and playstyle. Some are great for melee-heavy builds, while others are great for long range combat.

We’ve prepared a list of the Cyberware pieces that will fit you, regardless of how you choose to play. Most of these are practical, with a few thrown in for simple fun purposes. Here are the 5 best Cyberware pieces in Cyberpunk 2077:

Reinforced Tendons

These are leg upgrades that give you the double jump ability. This is useful during combat situations since you’ll be able to dodge enemy attacks, and look cool doing it. You can combine it with a stealth perk, and then score a landing strike with some precise positioning.

This also makes it easier for you to traverse while exploring Night City’s map. If timed right, you can use the Reinforced Tendons to negate fall damage. This doesn’t make you invincible, but it’s useful for going from rooftop to rooftop.

You can get this upgrade from the Ripperdocs in City Center, Watson, and Santa Domingo. It will cost about 45,000 eddies, but it’s definitely worth it to feel like a parkour king. Be sure to pick it up as soon as you can.

Gorilla Arms

When it comes to unarmed combat, your punches need to be strong enough to take out your foes quickly. For this, we recommend getting the Gorilla Arms Cyberware upgrades. These boost the damage capabilities of your fists so that you can dish out some serious pain.

An additional perk is that you can rip open doors and take down automated turrets, even if your Body stat isn’t high. While the Mantis Blades let you slice through enemies, they’re no more powerful than a katana. So the Gorilla Arms are a far better investment.

You can get a cheaper variant of these upgrades from the first Ripperdoc, Viktor, in the Watson district. If you want the Legendary version, then visit the Ripperdoc shop on the west end of the City Center. However, you’ll need 45 Street Cred to get this rare variant.

Smart Link

There are many Smart Weapons in the game that you can fire without having to aim. The bullets will be able to track the enemy that you tag and take them out quickly. This makes them some of the most powerful tools in the game.

If you want to use these guns, then you’ll first have to invest in the Smart Link. This Cyberware piece allows you to wield Smart Weapons, and you can purchase it from Watson in Kabuk at the cost of 9,000 Eurodollars.

This piece is expensive, but it’s definitely worth getting even if you don’t use Smart Weapons too often. This is because you can also acquire this piece without paying for it. When you play through the side quest titled “The Gig,” Wakako will recommend that you visit a certain Ripperdoc to get the upgrade for free.

Bioplastic Blood Vessels

You’ll come under heavy fire when facing off against the criminal underbelly of Night City. This Cyberware piece gives a boost to your circulatory system, and increases health regeneration outside of combat by 2 points per second.

The Legendary variants of the Bioplastic Blood Vessels regenerate 50% of your max health per second outside of combat. If a sniper hits you, then you’ll be able to bring HP back to full by taking cover and hiding for a few moments.

You’ll need to have at least 8 points in your Body stat, and 2000 in cash to purchase this upgrade. Just visit the Ripperdoc at Watson, and Northwest of Kabuki to get it for yourself.

Kerenzikov

This Cyberware piece will boost your nervous system by quickening your reflexes. It slows down time by 90% for up to 3.5 seconds whenever you block, aim, or attack while dodging. This makes the Kerenzikov a must-have piece of tech if you plan to take on a plethora of enemies at once.

The upgrade requires you to have at least 18 points in Reflexes. Visit the Ripperdoc in Santa Domingo, on the west end of the district, to purchase it. You can also get a Legendary version of the upgrade for 35000 eddies.

This piece doesn’t come cheap, but it’ll be incredibly useful if you find yourself surrounded by enemies. You can slow down time and carefully engage each foe, one at a time.

Although we recommend springing for the Legendary versions of these implants, that isn’t always practical. Many of them are extravagantly expensive, and the lower-tier versions are also serviceable on their own. Play with them as you rack up some cash for the rarer variants.

There are many other useful Cyberware implants that you can get that will fit your specific character build. Be sure to try them out and see what suits you best.

How to get unlimited money with a new exploit in Cyberpunk 2077

To buy all the most expensive Cyberware and vehicles, learn how to get unlimited money with a new exploit in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 has lots of weapons, vehicles, and awesome Cyberware options that you can apply to V. But in order to do that, you’ll need lots of money, or eddies, and a new workaround can supply you with endless amounts of it.

In an open-world game like Cyberpunk, you want to have all the money, giving you the freedom to do what you want and buy anything you want. This isn’t always the easiest thing to do in Cyberpunk 2077, no matter how much stuff you loot and sell, or however many devices you datamine.

But there’s a way to lessen the grind in CD Projekt Red’s new game. A player has discovered a method that can allow V to earn millions of eurodollars very quickly. Read on and see how you can earn V lots of bucks.

Cyberpunk 2077 make money fast exploit

The new exploit that has been discovered will lessen the need for looting and grinding, if not get rid of it altogether. When you’ve got a 100+ hour game to batter your way through, you don’t want to waste valuable seconds grinding for cash.

However, YouTube channel TagBackTV has managed to stumble across an excellent method that should make you very rich, very fast.

These are the steps that you will need to follow.

Step 1 – Go to this location

Simply head here, and obtain the “Space Oddity” Mission.

Step 2 – Head to Santa Domingo

Once here, complete the objective and “talk to the bums.”

Step 3 – The suitcase

Once the bums have abandoned the suitcase, you’ll need to have 9 level points invested in Technology and hack the suitcase. Once you’ve done that, use the computer in the briefcase and access the file.

Step 4 – Go to the drop

Head to the location and defeat all seven enemies that will be waiting for you there. After this, go to the package and open it, inside you’ll find a rare painting.

Step 5 – Find your nearest drop point

Now, once you get to one, save your game as soon as possible – preferably a new, manual save.

Step 6 – Make lots of money quickly

Access the drop box, find the painting, and sell it for 4000. Then you quit out of the drop point, click back on to it, and you can buy the painting back for 5 eurodollars. This means you’ve just made 3995 eurodollars, and can continue to sell the painting and keep buying it back for almost nothing.

Step 7 – Replenish the machine’s money

Eventually, the machine will run out of money. So to make more money available, open the menu, choose “Skip Time”, press left once so that it does a full 24 hours, confirm this, and the machine should have restocked.

There you go. A quick and easy method to make an incredible amount of money, very quickly in Cyberpunk 2077.

To see the full video in its entirety, check it out below.

This method is endlessly repeatable, so the only thing stopping you from becoming a Cyberpunk millionaire is you.
