The Pelington Sniper Rifle has quickly become one of the most popular in Black Ops Cold War.

Black Ops Cold War has made sniper rifles extremely powerful in the right hands. Flinch is now visual only, so your aim won’t be thrown off while getting shot. This only makes it more effective at range, with you being able to take a few bullets while lining up a perfect shot.

The Pelington Sniper Rifle is capable of dropping targets at long-range, but with the right attachments can also be quick. Aim for the upper chest and head to ensure you get a one-shot kill.

First, to keep yourself off the mini-map, you’ll want a Sound Moderator (suppressor). Due to only being able to fire one shot at a time, Sniper Rifles are most effective against unaware targets. When flanking a team, you want to give yourself as much time as possible to kill enemy players. One unsuppressed shot will alert enemies to your whereabouts, and you won’t be able to win if several players are looking at you.

The Tiger Team Barrel has several extremely important benefits. It boosts the Pelington’s reload speed, damage, fire rate, and bullet velocity. It makes the sniper more effective all round. Getting eliminations at long-range is now easier with the increased damage and bullet velocity. It’s also more effective up close with the increase to reload speed and fire rate, allowing you to take down multiple targets quickly.

To further maximize its multi-kill potential, a 7 round mag will reduce the need to reload.
