Best Warzone RAM-7 Loadout

The RAM-7 is a high fire-rate Assault Rifle capable of tearing through armor plates and downing enemies incredibly fast. Here’s the best RAM-7 loadout and perks to give you the edge in Warzone Season 3.

Since the various buffs and nerfs for Season 3 were implemented, many Assault Rifles are now viable choices, and the RAM-7 is one of the weapons at the top of the pack.

It’s fast fire rate and predictable recoil pattern allow it to kill fast at almost any range. Also, mounting the RAM-7 on a surface almost entirely removes recoil.

Here are the attachments and perks to make the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout for Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: FFS Ranger
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic or Holographic Sight
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 50 Round Mags

With its fast fire rate, if built right, the RAM-7 can dominate at almost any range. Stick to outdoor areas and you’ll find the RAM-7 can outgun anyone on the map if you can land your shots. The RAM’s recoil kicks up then towards the left, so compensate for this and you’ll find the weapon can be very accurate in the right hands.

To build the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout, you want to boost it’s range and accuracy.

The Monolithic Suppressor and FFS Ranger Barrel maximize the RAM’s damage potential at range. The Suppressor also keeps you off the radar when firing, keeping yourself concealed and less open to third parties arriving.

To further help with recoil control, we’ve added a Commando Foregrip. This is one of the best attachments for recoil control, as it helps with both recoil stabilization and aiming stability. Due to the fast fire rate, 50 Round Mags are also necessary. You don’t want to reload mid-fight, especially with the prominence of Self-Revive in Warzone Season 3.

For scopes, the VLK 3.0x or Corp Combat Holo Sight are solid choices. These unobtrusive sights allow you to hit precise shots on faraway targets and give a clear picture when up close. If you want to pair the RAM with a Sniper Rifle, we suggest the Corp Combat Holo Sight over the VLK.

Best perks for Warzone RAM-7 class

You need to pair any loadout with the best perks available if you hope to win Warzone, so here are the perks you should run with your RAM-7 class.

best perks Warzone RAM-7 loadout class

Perk 1 – E.O.D

If you want to have any hope of surviving explosive damage in Warzone, you need to run the E.O.D perk. Teams will often begin or try to finish a fight with a barrage of Semtexes and grenades, and the E.O.D perk will keep you alive during the onslaught.

Perk 2 – Overkill/Ghost

With the RAM-7, you want to be running something for extreme long-range or extreme close. The Overkill perk will allow you to take a Tactical Rifle such as the AUG, or a Kar98k along with your Assault Rifle.

Then after you have both your weapons, take the Ghost perk from your next loadout drop and be hidden from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.

Perk 3 – Amped

With the RAM-7 only having a 50 Round Mag and a fast fire-rate, you’ll need to either reload or switch weapons mid-fight. Swapping weapons is faster than reloading, and the Amped perk makes this process almost instant. Whether following up on a sniper shot or having to quickly change to an SMG, Amped will be a major help.

How to Unlock the RAM-7

Players who did not unlock the RAM-7 in the Season 1 Battle Pass at Tier 31 can still add this Assault Rifle to their inventory by completing the unlock challenge for it in either Modern Warfare or Warzone. This unlock challenge asks players to get 2 headshots using Assault Rifles in 25 different games.

Luckily, you can quit a match as soon as you get the 2 headshots and not lose any progress towards the challenge, making for a quick way to complete it.

Best Warzone M16 loadout

The M16 Assault Rifle has become a popular pick in CoD: Warzone and these attachments and perks will make the best Warzone M16 loadout for Season 3.

The M16 has been used to great effect in Cold War multiplayer, and while Modern Warfare weapons like the Grau 5.56 or the Kilo 141 have dominated the meta in the past, the burst rifle has become a fan-favorite for players to wield.

With its ability to deal huge damage at far distances, the M16 is undeniably a viable weapon for medium and long-range battles.

Here are the attachments and perks to make the best Warzone M16 loadout.

  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer
  • Barrel: 15.9″ Strike Team
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: 45 Rnd mag

This M16 is best used at long range for its potential to down a fully armored opponent in only a couple of bursts. Pair this weapon with a close-range choice such as Warzone’s MAC-10 or FFAR, and you’ll find yourself a force to be reckoned with in Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island.

For the muzzle, the Agency Silencer is the go-to for Cold War weapons, as it not only suppresses the sound of your bullets but actually increases the M16’s damage range.

When it comes to the barrel for the best Warzone M16 loadout, the 15.9″ Strike Team is the way to go as it increases the fire rate, meaning you can fire off bursts quicker while also increasing damage. Using this in conjunction with the Field Agent Grip will help you hit long-range shots easier, as it helps control the recoil in between bursts.

The Axial Arms 3x scope is perfect for the M16. This unobtrusive sight provides great magnification for hitting faraway targets and isn’t so zoomed that you’ll lose targets at closer range. Additionally, running the 45 Rnd mag will give you more bullets to use during fights.

The Minigun makes an unexpected return in Warzone Season 3

Following the release of the most recent update for Warzone, the Minigun made an unexpected return in Season 3 of the Call of Duty battle royale.

Warzone Minigun Season 3

The May 7, 2021 update for Warzone made some major changes to the Call of Duty battle royale, but it looks as though an unintended change regarding the Minigun made its way through into Season 3.

The Minigun was once a rare weapon that players could acquire in Warzone and mow down multiple enemies thanks to its high fire and large ammo count rate. However, the Minigun was eventually removed from the game, and players could no longer acquire the powerful weapon.

The absence of the Minigun in Warzone was unexpectedly ended on May 7, 2021, when Raven Software applied the most recent update for the Call of Duty battle royale, as players began to report that they were getting the Minigun from loot boxes on Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island.

Following the application of the May 7 update for Warzone, members of the community began to discuss how they were now able to find the MInigun in supply boxes when playing. It was at first unclear if this was an intended decision by Raven Software or if it something unintended that resulted from the most recent Warzone update.

Raven Software soon updated their official Trello board for issues that they are investigating with the game and stated they were investigating the Minigun spawning from supply boxes on Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island.

This confirmed that the Minigun was not supposed to make a return in Season 3.

The Warzone developer went on to post an announcement on its Twitter account that it had applied a playlist update to the Call of Duty battle royale that should prevent the Minigun from spawning in supply boxes but asked players to let them know if the Minigun return issue was still persisting following the playlist update.

While the return of the Minigun in Warzone Season 3 was not supposed to happen, there are sure to be some players who took advantage and were able to have some fun with the powerful weapon before Raven Software pushed the playlist update to stop the Minigun from spawning.

Unfortunately for these players, it looks as though the unexpected return of the Minigun in Warzone Season 3 was a short-lived experience for the community.
