Best Warzone RAM-7 Loadout

As Warzone Season 5 has progressed, the RAM-7 is still one of the most capable Assault Rifles in the game. Here’s everything you need to make the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout, including attachments, perks, and more.

At the start of Season 5 Reloaded, many weapons received some buffs and nerfs in an attempt to make the game more balanced. While the RAM-7 was not directly affected, this Modern Warfare weapon is still a very solid weapon that can help players find scuess in their matches.

The RAM-7’s fast fire rate and predictable recoil pattern make it a dangerous weapon in the right hands. In fact, the RAM-7 has one of the best time-to-kill stats in the game, and using the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout will help make it a powerful gun at range too.

Here are the attachments and perks to make the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout for Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: FFS Ranger
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic or Holographic Sight
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 50 Round Mags

With its fast fire rate, the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout can dominate at almost any range if built right. Stick to outdoor areas, and you’ll find the RAM-7 can outgun anyone on the map if you can land your shots. The RAM’s recoil kicks up then towards the left, so compensate for this, and you’ll find the weapon can be very accurate in the right hands.

To build the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout, you want to boost its range and accuracy.

The Monolithic Suppressor and FFS Ranger Barrel maximize the RAM’s damage potential at range. The Suppressor also keeps you off the radar when firing, keeping yourself concealed and less open to third parties arriving when using the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout.

To further help with recoil control, we’ve added a Commando Foregrip to the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout. This is one of the best attachments for recoil control, as it helps with both recoil stabilization and aiming stability. Due to the fast fire rate, 50 Round Mags are also necessary.

For scopes, the VLK 3.0x or Corp Combat Holo Sight are solid choices. These unobtrusive sights allow you to hit precise shots on faraway targets and give a clear picture when up close. If you want to pair the RAM with a Sniper Rifle, we suggest the Corp Combat Holo Sight over the VLK.

Best perks to use with Warzone RAM-7 class

You need to pair any loadout with the best perks available if you hope to win Warzone, so here are the perks you should run with your RAM-7 class.

best perks Warzone RAM-7 loadout class
  • Perk 1 – E.O.D
  • Perk 2 – Overkill/Ghost
  • Perk 3 – Amped

If you want to have any hope of surviving explosive damage in Warzone, you need to run the E.O.D perk. Teams will often begin or try to finish a fight with a barrage of Semtexes and grenades, and the E.O.D perk will keep you alive during the onslaught.

With the RAM-7, you want to be running something for extreme long-range or extreme close. The Overkill perk will allow you to take a Tactical Rifle such as the AUG or a Kar98k along with your Assault Rifle. For the best sniper options, check our guide on the sniper meta in Season 4.

Then after you have both your weapons, take the Ghost perk from your next loadout drop and be hidden from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.

With the the best Warzone RAM-7 loadout only having a 50 Round Mag and a fast fire rate, you’ll need to either reload or switch weapons mid-fight. Swapping weapons is faster than reloading, and the Amped perk makes this process almost instant. Whether following up on a sniper shot or having to change to an SMG quickly, Amped will be a major help.

Warzone Pacific update brings highly-requested Gas Mask fix

Warzone’s Gas Masks have long been a source of frustration to players, but the Pacific update is finally bringing a highly-requested change.

Call of Duty: Warzone players have long complained that the Gas Mask animation causes frustrating deaths, but the Warzone Pacific Season 1 update is set to fix the issue.

Like any battle royale game, Warzone’s closing ring of gas is extremely lethal. If you have any hope of surviving, you’ll need to pick up a Gas Mask. However, the obtrusive animation has long been a source of frustration for Warzone players.

Warzone Pacific Season 1 launches on December 8, bringing the new Caldera map, major changes to the Gulag, RICOCHET anti-cheat, and more. It’s also bringing an update to Gas Masks, making them much less of an annoyance.

The issue with Gas Masks is that you have no control over whether the animation starts or not. This stops you from aiming down sight, plating up, reloading, or even deploying your parachute.

Being inside the gas is meant to be punishing, but Warzone players have long felt that the animation is overly frustrating and have been calling for change. It appears this change will finally arrive with Caldera and Warzone Pacific Season 1.

Warzone’s developers announced that “Gas Masks won’t interrupt as many actions as they previously did.” Now, it’ll be “easier to pull your mask off or on, as well as plating up or reloading a weapon while getting out of the Circle Collapse.”

But it doesn’t sound like the animation will be completely gone, as the Gas Masks are still designed to punish players caught in the gas and favor those safely inside the circle.

We probably won’t know the full extent of the changes until Season 1 goes live on December 8. Alongside nerfs to Dead Silence, this is a change the community has long been asking for, so hopefully, Gas Masks will now cause far fewer unpreventable deaths.

What is Warzone Pacific’s Big Game Bounty contract?

Warzone Pacific will bring the Big Game Bounty contract when it moves to Caldera in Season 1, so here’s everything you need to know about it.

Warzone Pacific and all of its content have been revealed, including a brand-new Big Game Bounty contract. Here’s how Caldera’s new contract works, and how to complete it.

Warzone made some significant changes to the battle royale formula, swapping out traditional looting for loadouts and including in-game contracts to give those who complete them a leg-up.

Call of Duty’s battle royale is about to evolve even further, heading to the Pacific and bringing the RICOCHET anti-cheat, nerfs to Stun Grenades and Heartbeat Sensors, as well as a new contract – Big Game Bounty.

Here’s how the Big Game Bounty contract works, and how to complete it.

Warzone Pacific Big Game Bounty contract

Warzone Pacific’s new Big Game Bounty contract will act much the same as the classic Bounty, but will only mark the player with the highest kill count.

The developers confirmed that this contract will only appear once per game, so if you survive a Big Game Bounty contract on your head, you won’t have to worry about getting another one. And if you fail to eliminate the target in time, you won’t get another shot.

Of course, this is likely much more high risk than the regular Bounty. When taking on a Bounty, you could get a player of any skill or in any situation. However, with the Big Game Bounty contract, you’re guaranteed to get one of the best players in the game.

But high risk comes with high reward, as taking down this target will remove one of the most powerful forces on the map, giving you more chance of securing the win. Plus, there will likely be a nice cash and XP bonus for your efforts too.

Top-tier Warzone streamers seem unsure of Big Game Bounty, with pro player MuTex calling it a “find the streamer” contract. He said that it’ll “either be super fun or absolutely terrible” but we’ll have to “wait and find out.” But these top streamers almost play a different game to the rest of us, so it might be better received by the majority of players.

Warzone devs also teased there will be a “Top Secret Contract” in Caldera, but haven’t given any more information. Although they did reveal that it “comes with greater rewards compared to the standard loot from the Contract types it chooses from.”

Warzone Pacific Season 1 brings major changes to the Gulag

Some major changes are coming to Warzone when Caldera launches. A notable change comes by way of the Warzone Pacific Gulag.

Published

Gulag warzone pacific

A significant change coming to the Gulag is one of many mechanics undergoing modification when Warzone Pacific Season 1 launches on December 8.

Players are chomping at the bit to get their hands on Call of Duty’s newest Battle Royale
iteration
. After traversing the same map for almost two years, fans are understandably excited for this new Pacific adventure.

The setting is not the only thing that is set to undergo drastic changes. Prior to the December 8 release of Warzone Pacific, Activision has released a ton of new information about the new map and game mode. Players couldn’t help but notice one major change coming to the Gulag.

Warzone Pacific’s new and improved Gulag

Classic warzone gulag

The Gulag is a Warzone staple. Despite undergoing several different landscape changes, the essence of the Gulag has remained the same since day one. Two players face off in a one-on-one engagement. Both players use the same generated loadout. The winner then drops back into the map.

The Gulag is an iconic element that sets Call of Duty’s Battle Royale apart from the competition. The devs understood that allowing players a second lease on life is a great way to give players multiple chances to be the last one standing.

Traditionally, players who win a Gulag fight would drop back into the map with only a Pistol to keep them company. This is the price players pay for returning to the match. The idea was to limit the possibilities upon return. Warzone Pacific: Caldera is disrupting the balance by allowing players to return with their Gulag loadout.

Players will carry over every single item they receive in the Gulag. It is important to note that these items do not restock if used by the Gulag winner. In other words, if you use your Lethal Grenade to damage your Gulag opponent, it isn’t replenished once your drop back into the map.

Players must be wise in how they approach their Gulag fight. Allowing players to drop back in with their Gulag loadout adds a new layer of strategy to your 1 vs 1 engagement. Preserving your equipment or using it to defeat your opponent will be a risk you’ll have to weigh up.

Players familiar with the Iron Trials Warzone game mode will already be accustomed to this new gameplay mechanic. As more is released about the Warzone Pacific Gulag, such as its layout, we’ll update this piece so stay tuned.

This is just one of many changes coming to Warzone on December 8. Check out these changes to the Gas Mask animation and Loadout Drop.
