Modern Warfare 2 has some amazing Sniper Rifles, and the best Signal 50 loadout could top the lot. So, to find out how to control this beastly semi-auto weapon with its best attachments & Perks in MW2.

Many players feel that Sniping is well and truly back in Modern Warfare 2 and it’s an experience to have the Signal 50 in your hands.

The sound of each bullet explodes and can be heard around the map, yet the gun is surprisingly easy to control and can be fine-tuned to be even more devastating.

Our best Signal 50 loadout could become a staple of most Modern Warfare 2 loadouts, so let’s get straight into it.

Best Modern Warfare 2 Signal 50 loadout attachments

  • Barrel: 21.5″ Fluted Fifty
  • Rear Grip: SA Finesse Grip
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
  • Stock: SO Inline Stock
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser

When you consider the absolute best Modern Warfare 2 Signal 50 loadout, you simply cannot overlook the weapon’s ADS, a common theme in MW2.

So to start, we’ve opted for the 21.5″ Fluted Fifty Barrel as we get a large helping of recoil reduction and bullet velocity, in exchange for a tiny bit of speed loss.

We make up for that though with the SA Finesse Grip as it concentrates on improving ADS by a lot, and the FSS Sharkfin 90 Underbarrel comes with no drawbacks and offers a little boost to aiming.

The final two attachments are the SO Inline Stock and FSS OLE-V Laser with the former improving the gun’s overall speed and mobility, and the latter providing us with another huge boost in accuracy, recoil control, and ADS speed.

Best Modern Warfare 2 Signal 50 Perks & Equipment

  • Base Perk 1: Overkill
  • Base Perk 2: Scavenger
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: High Alert
  • Tactical Equipment: Stim
  • Lethal Equipment: Proximity Mine
  • Field Upgrade: Munitions Box

We need to make sure we’re well-prepped for battle if we’re going in with the Signal 50, so for the Base Perks, we recommend Overkill and Scavenger.

There’s a good chance you’ll run out of ammo or have your position compromised, so an SMG like the Fennec 45 or MX9 will do the trick, and Scavenger is useful for picking up extra ammo on the go.

Fast Hands is amazing for its quicker reload speed capabilities and we favor High Alert as you’ll likely have your eye looking down a scope, so the Perk will give you a split second to react and avoid death.

For Equipment, the Stim will do nicely if you take a shot or two, you can get straight back into the action with its health-rejuvenating properties, and the Proximity Mine is perfect fodder for onrushing enemies trying to ambush your position.

Finally, a Munitions Box is just common sense if you’re on a long Sniper stakeout as you can fully restock.
