The Bren received a nerf in a recent Warzone update and players are now turning to the Type 11 as a potential long-range alternative. Here are all of the attachments and Perks you need to create the best Type 11 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

Warzone Pacific Season 1’s mid-season update is live, bringing a ton of meta-changing buffs and nerfs to balance Warzone weapons.

The Bren was the undisputed number one long-range weapon in Warzone Pacific as of late but a recent nerf may change that. Although the Bren is still a powerful option, players have been quick to explore other weapons including the Type 11.

Here are all of the attachments and Perks you’ll need to get the most out of this mighty LMG.

Best Warzone Type 11 loadout attachments

Type 11 Vanguard LMG
  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: Sakura 487mm Shrouded
  • Optic: G16 2.5x
  • Stock: Warubachi Type 33
  • Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 5.6mm 45 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Grooved Grip
  • Perk: Brace
  • Perk: Fully Loaded

The Bren deals more damage than the Type 11, but the Type 11 has the Bren beat when it comes to ADS speed, movement speed, and strafe ability in 1 vs 1 gunfights.

Recoil control and aiming stability are vital for long-range weapons and the Warabuchi Type 33, Grooved Grip, and the Sakura 487mm Shrouded barrel make this weapon a laser beam. Distant targets will go down with ease thanks to the G16 2.5x optic.

The Brace proficiency will also increase accuracy and recoil control while Fully Loaded will set you up with enough ammo to tackle large squads. Rest assured, the 5.6mm 45 Round Mags will not leave you short on ammo and it is preferred over the 90 Round Mags due to the added recoil control.

The Mercury Silencer will further boost recoil control while Lengthened will increase bullet velocity which is a must for players who venture into Caldera. Finally, the m1941 Hand Stop is yet another attachment that will make this massive LMG easier to control in long-range battles.

Best Warzone Type 11 Perks & Equipment

Warzone perks
  • Perk 1: Cold-Blooded
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Stim

Before you switch to Ghost, you’ll want to opt for Overkill on your first loadout to pair this long-range killing machine with a close-range option. The PPSH and MP40 are two viable options in that category.

Cold-Blooded will keep you safe from the abundance of enemies who use Combat Scout, while Amped will have you switching between your heavy LMG and close-range SMG with ease.

The Throwing Knife and Stim equipment combination is currently the most popular set in Warzome thanks to the new Stim buff.

How to unlock Type 11 in Warzone Pacific

Shigenori Ota with Type 11 Vanguard

If you haven’t played Vanguard, unlocking the Type 11 in Warzone will require some considerable time unless you’re a frequent player. You will need to reach Level 37 before the LMG is accessible.

You may want to take advantage of the upcoming Double XP event across Warzone and Vanguard to unlock the required Type 11 attachments.

Best alternatives to Warzone Type 11

Of course, the Bren is an obvious choice for Warzone players even after a recent nerf but you might also want to explore the Automaton. After dominating Warzone Pacific’s early days, many players believe it’ll make a return following the mid-season update.

You can also turn to the MG42 if you’re looking to stay within the LMG category.
