Vanguard’s 3-Line Rifle is a weapon players may be familiar with, featuring in Call of Duty: WWII. With the correct loadout, this Sniper Rifle can do some damage, so here are the attachments and Perks you should use to make the best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle loadout.

Call of Duty: Vanguard has many weapon options for players to use in Multiplayer, with some suiting the longer-ranged playstyle better than others.

Players who love sniping will enjoy the 3-Line Rifle, a fast-firing Sniper Rifle that is every long-range specialist’s dream, especially when using the best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle loadout.

Best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle Gunsmith loadout attachments

Call of Duty: Vanguard 3-Line Rifle
  • Barrel: 270MM Voz Carbine
  • Stock: ZAC Custom MZ
  • Rear Grip: Leather Grip
  • Ammo Type: FMJ Rounds
  • Proficiency: Awareness
  • Kit: Deep Breath

First off, the 270MM Voz Carbine barrel will help improve the ADS speed for the best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle loadout, allowing players to get off those quickscopes while also retaining accuracy. Although this attachment does decrease some of the weapon’s damage range, we’ve found the pros outweigh the cons.

The ZAC Custom MZ stock will further improve the 3-Line Rifle’s ADS speed while also providing additional recoil control, allowing players to stay on target and get shots off as quickly as possible.

Moving on, we have the Leather Grip, a great attachment for this sniper as it provides even more ADS speed. These ADS speed improvements are vital for the best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle loadout, as the weapon is extremely heavy and slow without them.

As for the new addition to Call of Duty, Ammo Type, we’ve opted for the FMJ Rounds, which, if you didn’t know by now, improve bullet penetration so that you can retain damage through walls and other objects.

When it comes to the proficiency slot, Awareness will help greatly when using the best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle loadout, or any long-range weapon in general, as it allows you to spot enemies more efficiently.

Lastly, but definitely not least, we have the Deep Breath kit, which allows players to hold their breath longer and stabilize their aim when looking down the sights and getting off more precise shots with the best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle.

Best Perks to run with Vanguard 3-Line Rifle

Ghost perk in Vanguard
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: High Alert
  • Perk 3: Overkill

For the first perk, Ghost is a must for any sniper loadout, as staying hidden and keeping your location discreet is vital when it comes to holding down lines of sight with a sniper.

For the second perk, High Alert is a great option, as it will give you information on when an enemy is aiming at you, allowing you to relocate or locate the enemy and take them out.

Our final Perk choice is Overkill, which allows the player to carry two primary weapons, an important Perk for a sniper loadout as it means you can carry an SMG or something close range for when you find yourself in a more close-quarters engagement.

How to unlock the 3-Line Rifle in Vanguard

In order to unlock the 3-Line Rifle in Vanguard’s Multiplayer, players must reach Level 22.

This is fairly early on within the ranks so players shouldn’t have too much trouble unlocking the sniper quickly.

Best alternatives

Some alternatives to the best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle loadout are the Kar98k, another great sniper choice, or the MG42, a strong long-range LMG that can do serious damage at range.

There is no doubt that players will find success against their opponents if they step onto the battlefield with the best Vanguard 3-Line Rifle loadout equipped.

Vanguard’s game-breaking ‘demon gun’ glitch is now ruining Multiplayer maps

Warzone’s notorious demon gun glitch has made its way to Vanguard and obstructed vision is making the game unplayable.

demon gun glitch Vanguard

The infamous demon gun visual glitch that has frustrated Warzone players with limited vision in the past has now made its way to Vanguard.

The demon gun glitch has a special place in Warzone glitch lore as the instantly recognizable spiky textures send players into fits of rage. Recently we’ve seen the immensely popular bug even make its way to Halo Infinite for a crossover that nobody asked for.

Now it seems the bug is intent on ruining the Multiplayer experience for Vanguard players as it appeared for the first time and subsequently made the game unplayable due to obscured vision.

demon gun glitch warzone

For the time being, the issue seems to be prominent for PC players following the January 11 update. This is the latest in a long line of bugs to plague the Vanguard Multiplayer experience since launch.

Fatal_Overflow took to the Vanguard subreddit to share a clip of the ongoing issue. In Warzone it was common for the glitch to ruin the appearance of weapons but in this case, the issue in Vanguard seems to distort Multiplayer maps.

It’s clear to see how Shoot House is transformed into a mass of demon-like textures that makes taking down enemy players nearly impossible. With the game in this state, it’s difficult to imagine PC players dedicating hours to Multiplayer matches.

A community member offers a temporary fix for PC players in the comments of the post, “Revert your Nvidia driver to the December version. The January one is causing this for all pc players”.

Hopefully, Sledgehammer Games looks into the issue immediately as claims that this bug is occurring on console can also be found in the comments of the post which increases the number of players experiencing game-ruining glitches.

As of now, the bug is yet to appear on Sledgehammer’s Trello board but we’ll be sure to provide an update when the demon gun glitch is addressed.

For now check out, when players can expect CoD: Vanguard Season 2 and the Season 1 end date.

Best STG44 loadout for CoD: Vanguard Season 1

The STG44 has remained Call of Duty: Vanguard’s most popular gun, and our loadout reveals the best attachments and Perks.

Published

cod vanguard stg44

The STG44 quickly established itself as the go-to weapon in Call of Duty: Vanguard, and we’ve got the best attachments, Perks, Equipment, and more to help slay enemies with ease in Season 1.

Call of Duty has returned to its World War Two roots: brutal, bloody, dirty conflict. With every Vanguard gun having 10 attachment types each, making sure you have the right loadout is a vital key to success.

While Vanguard’s Assault Rifles are still dominating multiplayer, none are as popular as the STG44, the most well-rounded weapon in its class.

To make the most of this powerful gun, we’ve got the best Vanguard STG44 attachments, Perks, equipment, and even some alternatives if you don’t like it.

Best Vanguard STG44 Gunsmith loadout attachments

best vanguard stg44 attachments
  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: VDD 760MM 05B
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: VDD 27 Precision
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: .30 Russian Short 30 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

The F8 Stabilizer is the perfect way to kick things off as it reduces recoil and gives a much-needed damage range boost. Whereas the VDD 760MM 05B barrel sacrifices some ADS for a big recoil and range boost too.

We’re keeping the optic nice and simple as the Slate Reflector offers a clean, unobtrusive view. And the VDD 27 Precision aids recoil and recovers some of the ADS speed we’ve lost with other attachments.

The M1941 Handstop is the perfect underbarrel attachment as we get a significant horizontal and vertical recoil increase at little cost. However, the .30 Russian Short 30 Round Mags will immediately overrule this recoil boost, in exchange for a whopping damage boost, range, and more penetration.

The STG44 should have Lengthened ammo to make its bullet velocity higher, and with so many attachments to help with recoil and accuracy, you can afford to use the Fabric Grip to increase the weapon’s speed.

Our final two attachments are Vital to allow the STG to deal extra damage, and Fully Loaded should keep you from running out of ammo while playing the WW2 shooter.

Best Perks and Equipment to run with Vanguard STG44

vanguard forward intel perk
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Forward Intel
  • Perk 3: Lightweight
  • Secondary: 1911
  • Lethal: MK2 Frag Grenade
  • Tactical: Stim
  • Field Upgrade: Armor

You should definitely have Ghost as Perk 1 in Vanguard. It’s in the same vein as Cold War as it’s only active while you move, but is still a powerful choice when Spy Planes are above in the skies.

Next, we’ve opted for the Forward Intel Perk. This allows you to see exactly where the enemies are spawning, making controlling the map easy.

Our Perk 3 choice belongs to Lightweight. This STG build is fairly heavy, and Lightweight will counteract it by increasing your movement speed.

As for the rest of your class, the 1911 will be useful if you end up in close-quarters combat, while Armor will give you extra protection while holding lanes.

The good news is that the STG44 is available as soon as create-a-class unlocks at level 4, meaning you won’t have to grind to get your hands on it.

Best alternatives to Vanguard STG44

Some alternatives to the STG44 are the incredibly accurate Automaton or the Bren which is still dominating Warzone.

With your STG44 ready to take on any enemies, make sure your settings are giving you the best chance possible in-game, with our best Vanguard FOV and controller settings guides.
