Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Season 2 Reloaded update is live, bringing the new Arms Race mode and the Armaguerra 43 SMG. It’s shaping up to be a powerful choice in multiplayer, so here’s the best Armaguerra loadout for Vanguard.

The best SMGs usually have a high fire rate and this is where Vanguard Season 2 Reloaded’s new Armaguerra 43 SMG really shines. The devs said it’s the “fastest-firing weapon in its category,” and its effective range is “better than other fast-firing SMGs.”

Vanguard’s Gunsmith lets you tailor the Armaguerra any way you like, but the best loadout is one that will simply melt players at close range. Here’s everything you need to build the best Vanguard Armaguerra 43 loadout, including attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Best Vanguard Armaguerra 43 loadout attachments

Armaguerra SMG loadout attachments
  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Imerito 550mm 03P
  • Optic: Raishi Custom Type 15
  • Stock: Imerito SA Folding
  • Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal
  • Magazine: 8mm Kurz 75 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

The Armaguerra has an incredibly high fire rate, so we’ve built this Vanguard loadout to take full advantage of that, increasing its accuracy and increasing its ADS speed.

To start, the Recoil Booster muzzle makes the Armaguerra fire even faster, making it have a ridiculously low time-to-kill. Next, the Imerito 550mm 03P barrel keeps the weapon under control, allowing you to hit every single one of those fast-firing bullets.

You can choose whatever optic you like, but the Raishi Custom Type 15 iron sight is a solid choice as it slightly increases your ADS speed. Then, the Imerito SA Folding stock increases the sprint to fire speed, allowing you to run around the map and still snap on enemies.

The ADS speed is still quite slow, so the Mark IV Skeletal underbarrel will increase the ADS speed even more. The 8mm Kurz 75 Round Mags both put a ton of bullets at your disposal and increase the Aramguerra’s damage, and the Subsonic ammo is useful to hide your shots from the minimap.

The Fabric Grip helps with both ADS speed and sprint-to-fire time, the Vital proficiency makes upper chest shots deal headshot damage, and Fully Loaded ensures you have enough bullets to rack up a high killstreak.

Best Perks & Equipment to use with Armaguerra 43

Forward Intel Perk in CoD Vanguard
  • Perk 1: Fortified
  • Perk 2: Forward Intel
  • Perk 3: Lightweight
  • Lethal Equipment: Mk2 Frag Grenade
  • Tactical Equipment: No69 Stun Grenade

We recommend using the Fortified Perk in the first slot, as this will protect you from incoming grenades and explosives. Next, Forward Intel allows you to see exactly where enemies are spawning, letting you control the flow of the map. And finally, Lightweight lets you dart around the map faster.

For Equipment, the Mk2 Frag Grenade is a powerful choice, and the No69 Stun is perfect for slowing down enemies near objectives and camping in rooms.

How to unlock Armaguerra 43 in Vanguard

Vanguard’s new Armaguerra 43 SMG can be unlocked in both multiplayer and Zombies, and here’s how:

  • Multiplayer: Get 10 hip-fire kills in a single match 15 times
  • Zombies: Use SMGs to kill 400 enemies frozen by your Frost Blast

Just hop into Hardcore Das Haus or Shipment and you’ll get the 10 hip-fire kills in no time at all. Then, you can take advantage of the upcoming Double XP event to level it up fast.

Best alternatives to the Armaguerra 43 in Vanguard

There are plenty of powerful SMGs in Call of Duty: Vanguard, and we recommend using Season 1’s Welgun to score your hip-fire kills. Also, the classic MP40 is a great all-rounder if you’re looking for an SMG for all maps and modes.

There’s also a brand-new large-scale game mode to play in Vanguard Season 2 Reloaded, so you can check out everything you need to know about Arms Race.
