Vanguard Season 1 brings a host of fresh content to the game, with new operators, multiplayer maps, and Warzone’s Pacific Caldera map.
As always, a new season also means new weapons, and players will receive five new ways to kill enemies over the course of the first season. One of the most interesting of these is the Cooper Carbine, an Assault Rifle with the characteristics of an SMG.

The Recoil Booster will give your gun an improved fire rate, while the 22″ Cooper Custom barrel and Cooper 45RS stock improves accuracy and controllability. Finally, the Cooper Carbine is great for aggressive players, so teaming it with Lightweight will help you get around the map quickly.
How to unlock Cooper Carbine in Vanguard
Unlocking the Cooper Carbine is pretty straightforward. Players just need to reach Tier 15 of the Warzone & Vanguard Season 1 Battle Pass.
This can be accomplished by playing matches, or by purchasing the Premium Battle Pass, which unlocks the first 20 Tiers immediately.
Best Vanguard Cooper Carbine alternatives
While the Cooper Carbine does feel like an SMG, some players will prefer the MP-40 or Type 100, which are the best guns in the class.
If you feel like you are not able to kill enemies at range, the Automaton or STG-44 are the best Assault Rifles in Vanguard.
