Best Vargo-S loadout Vanguard

The Vanguard Season 4 Reloaded update has delivered the Vargo-S Assault Rifle, and here’s how you can create the best loadout for it using the optimal attachments, Equipment, and Perks.

Vanguard Season 4 Reloaded has provided players with an exciting Terminator crossover, a new map called Desolation, and the devastating Vargo-S Assault Rifle.

While leaks have already teased which new weapons to expect in Vanguard Season 5, players will have their hands full with the dominant Vargo-S for the time being. The Vargo 52 was an excellent Cold War weapon so let’s find out if Vanguard’s iteration can live up to the hype.

Here’s how to build the best Vargo-S loadout in Vanguard Season 4 Reloaded.

Best Vanguard Vargo-S loadout attachments

Vanguard Vargo-S
  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Mirzoyan 414mm Custom
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Nazaryan Padded SL
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: .30-06 20 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

The Vargo-S is a fantastic Vanguard Assault Rifle that is capable of two-shotting players consistently. The .30-06 20 Round Mags are the driving force behind the weapon’s ability to two-shot as it increases headshot damage, bullet penetration, damage, bullet velocity, and range.

The M1941 Hand Stop and Fabric Grip will help keep the weapon steady and increase ADS speed as you attempt to destroy your enemies from long and medium ranges. The Slate Reflector is Vanguard’s cleanest optic available and the Hollow Point ammo type is a no-brainer as it increases limb damage

Since the overpowered magazine attachment hinders the weapon’s accuracy, we’ve gone with the F8 Stabilizer to restore the balance. The Nazaryan Padded SL stock will provide a major boost to your strafe speed and recoil control.

There are a few viable options when it comes to the barrel attachment but we’ve gone with the Mirzoyan 414mm Custom to place the emphasis on long-range engagements. With the Vital proficiency, your bullets will pack more of a punch as the area for critical hits increases.

Vanguard Vargo-S best Perks & Equipment

vanguard perks
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Forward Intel
  • Perk 3: Lightweight
  • Lethal: Mk2 Frag Grenade
  • Tactical: Stun
  • Field Upgrade: Dead Silence

There’s no point in playing passively with such a dominant weapon therefore we suggest the Ghost Perk to keep you hidden from enemy detection while on the move. Forward Intel is an excellent Perk 2 as it will allow you to set up devastating spawn traps, especially on Vanguard’s smaller maps.

Lightweight will increase your movement speed which is often the key to Vanguard’s success with its lightning-quick gameplay. Meanwhile, a Frag Grenade and Stun combo will allow you to disorient and eliminate your enemies in one fell swoop.

Dead Silence will help keep your footsteps silent as you sneak around the map. This Field Upgrade could prove to be an excellent tool for extending active streaks.

How to unlock the Vargo-S in Vanguard

Vargo-S Vanguard AR

Vanguard players can attempt to complete one of two unlock challenges for the brand-new Vargo-S. You can head to multiplayer where you’ll have to get 15 close-range kills, or you can use Assault Rifles to kill 20 or more enemies without getting hit 50 times in Zombies.

Both of these challenges are relatively simple as the devs have dialed back the unlock requirements for new weapons.

Best Vanguard Vargo-S alternatives

Following the Season 4 Reloaded update, the Vargo-S is one of the best Assault Rifles in Vanguard, and as such only the Automaton, Cooper Carbine, and STG44 can stand beside it as viable alternatives.
