Best Volk loadout for CoD: Vanguard

The Volk has turned out to be one of the best weapons in Call of Duty: Vanguard, so here’s how to make the best class.

The Volk hasn’t received the fanfare that other weapons have in Vanguard, and yet it still absolutely ruins the opposition. Find out how to make the best Call of Duty: Vanguard Volk loadout with complete attachments and Perks.

Vanguard has a ton of interesting and varied weapons for players to try out. Not only that, but the return of the 10-attachment Gunsmith system makes for a lot of different loadouts.

Since the Volk is a brand new weapon to CoD, many players are likely going to want to try it out. With that being said, here’s our best Volk Assault Rifle loadout in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Best Vanguard Volk Gunsmith loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Krausnick 428MM 05V
  • Optic: State Reflector
  • Stock: Reisdorf 22V Adjustable
  • Underbarrel: MK6 Para
  • Magazine: .30 Russian Short 45 Round Drums
  • Ammo Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
  • Kit: Defender

The perfect starter attachment is the F8 Stabilizer muzzle as it sacrifices less important attributes to increase range and decrease recoil. Whereas the Krausnick 428MM 05V is the best barrel as it also helps range and recoil.

Our Optic choice has to be the State Reflector. It’s just so clean and wide, offering tremendous visibility, and the Residorf 22V Adjustable boosts the vital gun stats.

The MK6 Para retrieves some of that lost ADS speed, the additional firepower of the .30 Russian Short 45 Round Drums is too good to pass up, and Subsonic rounds keep you hidden on the map.

A go-to attachment for many guns is the Stippled Grip as it improves recoil and centering at no cost, Sleight of Hand helps us reload our .30 Russian Short 45 Round Drums a bit quicker, and Defender can lock down even more precise shots.

Best Perks to run with Vanguard Volk

  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Radar
  • Perk 3: Tactician

Ghost is a perfect Perk One pick in Call of Duty: Vanguard as its ability to hide you away from Spy Planes, Field Mics, and Enemy Intel is too valuable to pass up.

Potentially the most effective Perk in Vanguard is Radar, as it helps to sniff out any enemies firing weapons on the minimap that ordinarily wouldn’t show up.

Our Volk loadout has a lot of ammo and rounds to use, so it might be beneficial to go for Tactician for quicker equipment restocks. This will allow you to drop more MK V Gas grenades and Molotovs.

How to unlock the Volk in Vanguard

The Volk AR is available to players in Vanguard’s Multiplayer once they reach Level 55, which can be quite the task considering it is the max level.

For those looking to unlock the Volk as soon as possible, check out how to rank up fast in Vanguard.

Best alternatives to Vanguard Volk

Vanguard has more than enough options to keep the gameplay interesting, and we have picked out one or two that should help you to shake things up.

If you want consistency and one of the top meta picks, then you can never go wrong with the all-around beast that is the best MP-40 loadout. If you want something a bit different, then the MG42 is an underrated monster of a weapon that can definitely cause some serious damage.

And that’s the best Volk loadout you can run in Call of Duty: Vanguard! Be sure to check out our Zombies review.

Vanguard June 30 update patch notes: Ranked Play restrictions, Zombies bug fixes, more

Vanguard’s June 30 update patch notes brought changes to Ranked Play restrictions as well as fixes for several Zombies bugs in Season 4.

Published

Call of Duty: Vanguard devs Sledgehammer Games released an update on June 30 that added two weapons to the Ranked Play restricted list and delivered bug fixes for several issues plaguing the Zombies mode.

Vanguard Season 4 introduced two new weapons to the game in the UGM-8 and Marco 5. Players have been enjoying the unique dual wield capabilities of the Marco 5, but it seems the SMG is now a restricted weapon in Vanguard’s Ranked Play following the June 30 update.

The devs also took time to address several bugs and glitches that were hindering the Zombies experience. When playing the new Shi No Numa map, players should notice smoother gameplay following the update.

Vanguard Ranked Play restrictions adjusted

Season 4’s Marco 5 SMG and the Push Dagger Melee weapon have been added to the restricted list of Vanguard’s Ranked Play. Players were enjoying the new Marco 5 SMG in multiplayer and Ranked Play, but it seems they may have to return to the MP40.

This isn’t the first time a strong weapon was added to the Ranked Play restricted list as the Volk also received a ban in Season 3. Also, the top 250 Ranked Play leaderboard is now live in Vanguard.

How to get the “new Roze” Night Terror Florence skin in Warzone & Vanguard

Here’s how to get the Night Terror Florence skin in Warzone & Vanguard following comparisons to the iconic Roze skin.

Published

on

It’s been some time since an Operator skin has shaken up Warzone but the Night Terror Florence skin, which many are calling the new Roze skin, has the potential to do so. Here’s how to get the Violet Stealth bundle in Warzone and Vanguard.

When the Roze skin was at the height of its power, it tormented Warzone lobbies one match after another. Due to the skin’s all-black outfit, it blended in easily with the surroundings and made it hard for enemies to spot before it received a decisive nerf.

In Season 4, a Warzone and Vanguard bundle highlights a similar skin that has made its way to Call of Duty with the Violet Stealth bundle. The Night Terror Florence skin shares many similarities to the Roze skin, so here’s everything you need to know about it.

How to get Night Terror Florence skin in Warzone & Vanguard

To get your hands on the Night Terror skin, you’ll have to purchase the Violet Stealth bundle. Following the Warzone update that nerfed the NZ-41 on June 30, the Violet Stealth bundle is available to purchase.

Despite the June 30 release, the bundle has yet to appear in the Vanguard and Warzone store in-game. Here’s where PC, Xbox, and PlayStation players can purchase the bundle.

Given the competitive advantage it might bring, you won’t want to miss the Violet Stealth bundle in Warzone and Vanguard Season 4.

Vanguard & Warzone Violet Stealth bundle content

It seems you’ll have to dish out $19.99 / £16.79 for the Vanguard and Warzone bundle and here’s what you’ll receive in exchange:

  • Night Terror Florence skin
  • Violet Violence Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle blueprint
  • Dark Ambient MP40 blueprint
  • Midnight Malice calling card
  • Hooded Hell emblem
  • Neon Artistry sticker
  • Funeral Director watch
  • Inscribed reticle
  • 2,400 CoD Points

Not only is the Night Terror skin expected to be a powerful cosmetic in-game, but the MP40 is a meta weapon in both Warzone and Vanguard, which further sweetens the deal.

Both the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle and MP40 blueprints will come equipped with neon purple tracer rounds that tie into the Violet Stealth aesthetic. The 2,400 CoD Points are a nice touch as a bonus you could use on another bundle.
