AX-50 Warzone loadout

Here’s the best Warzone AX-50 loadout you should be using for maximum range and mobility to take enemies down from afar in Season 3.

Thanks to recent Sniper Rifle nerfs in the major Season 3 update, the best sniper loadouts for players to choose from have changed drastically. The AX-50 has been around since the start of Warzone, but it hasn’t always been viable.

Luckily, recent nerfs have leveled the playing field and resulted in renewed interest in this Sniper Rifle as it lets you deliver hard-hitting shots from long range that will down enemies without any trouble.

We’ve prepared the best attachments and perks to make the best Warzone AX-50 loadout to help you take down enemies from a distance without any trouble.

Best Warzone AX-50 loadout attachments

AX-50 warzone attachments
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: 32.0″ Factory Barrel
  • Stock: Singuard Arms Assassin
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
  • Laser: Tac Laser

We’ll start the best Warzone AX-50 loadout with the Monolithic Suppressor muzzle to keep you hidden and increase damage range, which is extremely important for Snipers in Season 3.

The 32.0″ Factory Barrel will further boost the weapon’s recoil control while also improving the damage range and bullet velocity of the best Warzone AX-50 loadout. Now, you’ll be more likely to score eliminations with a single shot.

You’ll want to be able to get an enemy in your sights right away after reloading, and that’s where the Singuard Arms Assassin stock comes in. This attachment will improve your Aim Down Sight Speed.

In addition, the Tac Laser and Stippled Grip Tape will further boost ADS speed, which is vital for Sniper Rifle players as they look to get the first shot off in a gunfight.

Best Perks & Equipment to use with Warzone AX-50 class

Double Time perk in Warzone
  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Overkill/Tempered
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal Equipment: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical Equipment: Stim

We’ve picked the Double Time perk to increase your Tactical Sprint duration as well as increase your speed while sprinting.

We strongly recommend paring an Assault Rifle or SMG with the AX-50 for close-range encounters. Overkill will allow you to take two primary weapons from your first loadout. Then, you can benefit from reaching full health faster with Tempered.

Amped allows you to switch weapons faster and reload launchers faster. Great for use with a Sniper/LMG loadout. This will be useful when switching back and forth between your primary and secondary weapons.

We’ve gone with the Stim and Throwing Knife combo which is a popular option in Season 3. The Stim provides a boost to speed which could be valuable in close-quarters fights. Along the same lines, the Throwing Knife will help you finish enemies you’ve downed with your SMG.

Most recent AX-50 buffs and nerfs

Raven Software nerfed the popular Kar98k and Swiss in the Season 3 update. Therefore many players are switching to the AX-50 and HDR.

The AX-50 is one of the few Sniper Rifles that can still one-shot kill to the head at any range. In addition, it had its max damage range and headshot multiplier increased.

How to unlock the AX-50

Most players will already have the AX-50 unlocked, but if you’re new to the game you just need to reach level 37 in Warzone or Modern Warfare. This should only take a few hours of playing over a weekend and you’ll be adding this sniper to your inventory in no time.

Best Alternatives

As previously, mentioned the HDR is another fantastic option in Season 3 of Warzone Pacific. However, if the heavy Sniper Rifle isn’t right for you, you’ll want to check out the ZRG 20mm. This weapon was also on the right side of recent weapon balancing changes.
