Best EX1 loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded

Nathan Warby
Warzone Operator using EX1

The EX1 Assault Rifle is a great option in Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded, and we’ll go over how you can make the best loadout for it with the right attachments, Perks, as well as Equipment.

Warzone features a great selection of Assault Rifles to choose from and the EX1 is unique because it fires laser beams instead of traditional ammo, bringing a whole new layer to gunfights.

This weapon has become a more viable pick because of the buffs that it received in Season 5 Reloaded. You can make it into a powerhouse with the right attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Here’s the best EX1 loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded.

Best Warzone EX1 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: TLL Disk Trim
  • Barrel: SD Instant Grat
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: AC-Titanium Anchor
  • Underbarrel: Ion Hand Stop
  • Magazine: DIM X-Circuit Battery
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Perk 1: Steady
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

We’ll start off by equipping the TLL Disk Trim, SD Instant Grat, Ion Hand Stop, Hatched Grip, and AC-Titanium Anchor as these will boost flinch resistance, recoil control, and general stability, making the EX1 a literal laser in Warzone.

We went with the SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x because it slightly reduces recoil and horizontal bounce. As an Energy Weapon, there are no choices for ammo, but it does pay to use the DIM X-Circuit Battery for its ADS speed boost.

Coming to our choice of perks, went with Steady and On-Hand to increase your ADS Firing Move Speed along with your ADS speed to help you land those shots early and get the edge on your opponent.

Best Perks & Equipment to use with EX1 in Warzone

warzone EX1
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stim

Perks-wise, it’s always a solid choice to run E.O.D to counter the many explosives that enemies will throw at you and soak up some of the damage.

Then, Overkill lets you bring along another primary weapon, allowing you to pair the EX1 with a Sniper or SMG. We also recommend Amped to enable you to switch between the two quickly, meaning you’re never caught with the wrong weapon for the situation at hand.

When it comes to Equipment, Semtex is an easy-to-use lethal that deals big damage, while Stims offer a handy health boost that can be crucial in desperate moments.

How to unlock the EX1 in Warzone

All you have to do to get hold of the EX1 in Warzone is reach Tier 15 of the Season 5 Battle Pass by earning XP in-game.

If you haven’t purchased the Battle Pass, don’t worry, this is one of the free tiers, so there’s no need to spend any real money if you don’t want to.

Most recent EX1 buffs and nerfs in Warzone

The Season 5 Reloaded update brought a ton of buffs and nerfs to numerous existing weapons. The EX1 had its minimum damage buff while having its ADS spread reduced.

EX1 (VG)

  • Min Damage increased to 11, up from 10
  • ADS Spread decreased to 0.01, down from 0.2

Best alternatives to EX1 in Warzone

If the EX1 isn’t cutting it, we recommend trying out the CR-56 AMAX which is a more powerful option after the damage buffs it was given in the Season 5 Reloaded update. The FFAR 1 is another great choice because of its impressive rate of fire and manageable recoil.

The beauty of the EX1, however, is that you can swap its attachments to turn it into virtually any type of weapon you want, from an SMG to a Sniper Rifle. So, consider playing around with the attachments to find the build that suits you.
