The Grau 5.56 is still an incredibly viable option at long-range in Caldera, and we’ve got all the attachments and Perks you need to create a powerful loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 1.
The Grau Assault Rifle is still a high-performing pick for players and has remained on the list of the top 10 most popular Warzone weapons even after 40 Vanguard weapons arrived.
Even though it’s not necessarily the most powerful Assault Rifle in Warzone right now, its accuracy more than makes up for that, and we’ve got everything you need to create the best loadout.

Best Warzone Grau loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
- Optic: VLK 3.0x
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
The Grau 5.56’s main strengths are its damage, accuracy, and range. This Warzone loadout will prioritize improving the firepower and minimizing the recoil of the weapon.
First, we’ll equip the Monolithic Suppressor to the best Warzone Grau loadout as it will make it difficult for your enemies to locate you on the map due to the sound suppression. It will enable you to get past your foes and to get a jump on them.
This will come at the cost of decreased damage range, so we’ll correct that with the Tempus 26.4″ Archangel barrel. This also has the added benefit of improving the weapon’s already impressive firepower.
The VLK 3.0x is an unobtrusive scope that is perfect for the ranges you’ll be using the best Warzone Grau loadout. And we’ll fix the weapon’s recoil with the Commando Foregrip so that your accuracy isn’t downgraded too much.
Finally, we’ll cap off the best Warzone Grau loadout with the 60 Round Mags providing a nice buffer if you get into a heated confrontation with multiple hostiles.

Best perks & equipment for Warzone Grau class
- Perk 1: Cold-Blooded
- Perk 2: Ghost
- Perk 3: Combat Scout
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
Cold-Blooded is the first perk that we recommend equipping, as it will help you stay hidden from enemies. The popular Ghost perk is another great pick for stealthy tactics where you don’t want your foes to see you coming.
For Perk 3, we recommend Combat Scout. Damaging enemies will ping and highlight them through walls, allowing you to keep applying pressure as they try to escape.
In terms of equipment, personal preference plays a large part in this. We prefer the Semtex Grenade over the Frag as it makes it easier to target players through doorways or ladders, while Stun Grenades will disorientate opponents and swing the fight in your favor when using the best Warzone Grau loadout.
Most recent Grau 5.56 buffs and nerfs
After not being touched since Black Ops Cold War’s weapons arrived in December 2020, the Grau 5.56 received a small damage buff all the way back in the Cold War Season 4 Reloaded update.
- Grau 5.56 (MW)
- Minimum Damage increased from 22 to 24
How to unlock the Grau in Warzone
Unlocking the Grau 5.56 is easy enough but might be time-consuming as, in Modern Warfare or Warzone, you just need to get 5 kills in a minute when using an Assault Rifle 25 times.
Doing this on Modern Warfare is the recommended option. If not, we recommend solo queuing Plunder and heading to some of the busier areas of the map so you can be constantly fighting.

Best OTs 9 loadout for CoD: Warzone Pacific Season 1
Here are the best attachments, Perks and Equipment to use with the powerful OTs 9 SMG in Warzone Pacific Season 1.
The OTs 9 SMG is another meta pick in Warzone Pacific’s huge arsenal of weaponry, so here are the best attachments and Perks to make the best Warzone OTs 9 loadout and maximize its potential in Season 1.
Black Ops Cold War’s OTs 9 remains a great choice to consider when it comes to a powerful close-quarters weapon in Warzone Pacific Season 1.
This fast-firing SMG boasts a highly competitive time to kill, so you can use it to dominate your opponents in close-range combat – especially on the confines of Rebirth Island
We have all of the attachments and Perks you should run to make the best Warzone Pacific OTs 9 loadout.

Best Warzone OTs 9 loadout attachments
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 8.1″ Task Force
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
- Ammunition: VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag
The best Warzone OTs 9 loadout is built to dominate at close range but will be better suited for Solos and Duo matches because of its smaller magazine size.
To start the best Warzone OTs 9 loadout, we’ve opted for the GRU Suppressor. This is the standard for most SMG builds because of its massive increase in bullet velocity, range, and recoil control while keeping you off the minimap when firing.
Next, the 8.1″ Task Force barrel further increases this range while boosting strafe speed. Its only downside is that it will make the OTs kick more, but it’s perfect for a close-range build.
As this is a close-range build, speed and mobility are key. Combining the Tiger Team Spotlight and the KGB Skeletal Stock will vastly improve your sprint to fire and aim walk moving speed, making you a tough target.
Finally, to get the largest magazine size possible, you should use the VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag which also gives a much faster reload.
Best Perks & Equipment to use with OTs 9 class
- Perk 1: E.O.D
- Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
- Perk 3: Amped
- Lethal: Throwing Knife
- Tactical: Stun Grenades
To start, you want to use E.O.D to survive any explosive damage, which is necessary when using an SMG up-close.
Amped is a great choice for Amped for our final Perk, as it allows you to switch weapons much faster and makes sure you do not get caught switching weapons when an enemy begins to fire at you.
For Equipment, we recommend combining the Throwing Knife and Stun Grenades. The Throwing Knife is perfect to quickly finish off downed enemies, and the Stuns will almost render your opponent powerless.
Most recent OTs 9 buffs and nerfs in Warzone
Raven Software realized that the OTs 9 was extremely powerful, so gave it a fairly significant nerf in one of Warzone Pacific’s first updates.
Here are all the recent changes to the OTs 9:
- OTs 9 (BOCW)
- Maximum Damage decreased to 30, down from 31
- Headshot Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.33, down from 1.52
How to unlock the OTs 9 in Warzone
Unlocking the OTs 9 is relatively simple but time-consuming, requiring you to complete at least 15 different matches.
This is the challenge you will need to complete:
- Using SMGs, kill 2 or more players rapidly in 15 different completed matches.
We recommend jumping into either Plunder or Rebirth Island, where you’ll have many more opportunities to get two SMG kills in quick succession.
Best alternatives to Warzone’s OTs 9
If you haven’t unlocked the OTs 9 yet or are looking for something with more ammo for squad matches, there are plenty of viable choices besides the best Warzone OTs 9 loadout.

Best guns in Warzone Pacific Season 1
10. OTs 9
Warzone players love a low TTK SMG, and the OTs 9 fits that category perfectly. It has minimal recoil and can kill extremely quickly, which makes it a powerful choice whether you’re pairing it with an Assault Rifle or Sniper Rifle.
You’ll likely still see a ton of OTs 9s in Caldera thanks to its accuracy and power.
The BAR isn’t the easiest weapon to use in Warzone Pacific, but there are very few Assault Rifles that can outgun it.
Although its slow fire rate makes tracking moving targets quite tough, each bullet hits like a truck. Once you get used to that slow fire rate, you’ll likely have great success with the BAR, especially when fighting players face-to-face.
It’s not the best at close-range though, so make sure you stick to the outdoors.
Similar to the STG, the MP40 is incredibly effective because it’s so easy to use and will tear through enemies extremely quickly.
Although it’s the first SMG you unlock, the MP40 has almost no recoil and great mobility. If you’re unsure which SMG to level up and use in Caldera, we can’t recommend the MP40 enough. Plus, there are plenty of great versions of it as ground loot, too.
The STG44 is an extremely popular choice because it’s the first Assault Rifle you unlock in Vanguard and is extremely easy to use.
It’s almost the M4A1 of WW2, being a great jack of all trades. It’s neither the most powerful nor the most accurate, but players of all skill levels can take advantage of it. Plus, the Gunsmith system allows the STG to be built for almost any situation, but we recommend using it at medium to long-range.
6. Welgun – Best SMG in Warzone Pacific
The Welgun arrived in Warzone Pacific Season 1’s mid-season update and quickly became the go-to SMG for many players.
Boasting a faster TTK than the MP40 and minimal recoil, the Welgun has been labeled “overpowered” by many content creators and is the obvious choice alongside your favorite Assault Rifle or LMG.
The only problem with the Welgun is that a glitch is stopping players from unlocking it in Warzone, but Raven Software are aware of the issue.
5. Cooper Carbine
The Cooper Carbine was new to both Warzone and Vanguard with the launch of Season 1, and quickly became one of the best weapons in the game.
It was originally best suited for close-range but even after Raven Software nerfed it, it’s still remained top of the pack. Its fast fire rate and extremely low recoil make it incredibly easy to use at range, even if the TTK isn’t the best on this list.
4. Cold War AK-47 – Best Assault Rifle in Warzone Pacific
It took some time for Cold War’s AK-47 to join Warzone’s meta but once it did, it secured its place.
With extremely fast TTK, Cold War’s AK-47 is the perfect choice for either a long-range or sniper support build. You may have some trouble getting used to the high recoil, but there are few guns capable of taking it down.
No matter your playstyle, the AK-47 is a great choice across both Caldera and Rebirth Island.
3. Swiss K31
The Swiss K31 wasn’t a particularly strong Sniper Rifle when it was first released, but some powerful buffs to Cold War snipers have made it a very strong option for those who favor picking off enemies from a distance.
This Sniper Rifle has one of the best ADS times in its class, making it a perfect option for quickscopers who like to get into their opponents’ faces.
We’ve ranked it below the Kar98k simply because it has less aim assist, but if you’re a mouse and keyboard player, the Swiss K31 could be the weapon for you.
2. Bren – Best LMG in Warzone Pacific
Although quite slow, the Bren has remained an incredibly powerful weapon even after nerfs. You won’t be able to dart around finessing your opponents, but it has almost zero recoil allowing you to beam any opponent that crosses your path.
The Bren has extremely low recoil for an LMG, which makes it a fantastic choice whether you’ve built your own loadout or are using it as ground loot. We expect it to get nerfed again ahead of Season 2.
1. Kar98k – Best Sniper/Marksman Rifle in Warzone Pacific
If you want a Sniper Rifle that’s both quick and accurate, Modern Warfare’s Kar98k is the strongest choice available. Although being a Marksman Rifle, equipping the Kar with a Sniper Scope will make it the most aggressive sniper build in Warzone.
Being only slightly slower than the Swiss, it’s fast enough that you’ll be able to quickscope enemies up close. Starting a fight with a couple of easy headshots will put your team at a distinct advantage. And with its one-shot headshot and minimal bullet drop, you can effectively snipe at long-range too.
Sniper Rifles still dominate after the Warzone Pacific update, so you’ll want to make sure that someone in your squad is running one – and we fully recommend the Kar98k.
Those are the top 10 weapons you should be using in Warzone Pacific Caldera. Expect this list to keep on changing as weapons are buffed and nerfed.
And if classic multiplayer is more your cup of tea, you can check out the top 10 Vanguard weapons.

FaZe Swagg shares Warzone “AIMBOT” STG44 loadout
FaZe Swagg has shared the perfect attachments to make an “aimbot” STG44 AR loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 1.
The STG44 has been a reliable option in Warzone Pacific since Vanguard’s integration and FaZe Swagg has just revealed his aimbot STG44 loadout that will have you shooting beams.
Warzone Pacific’s mid-Season 1 update introduced players to the Welgun but it also brought along buffs and nerfs to several established Vanguard weapons. The STG44 was an early favorite when Warzone Pacific launched but was quickly taken over by the Bren.
Not only did the STG44 receive a buff but the widely popular Bren received a much-needed nerf which allowed players to explore other long-range options.
It didn’t take long for players to revisit an old favorite but this time FaZe Swagg uses different attachments to make the weapon shoot as straight as possible.
FaZe Swagg paired this aimbot STG44 loadout with an MP40 to cover close-range gunfights and racked up 33 kills on his way to a commanding Duos victory.
Swagg explains the STG’s potential, “They buffed the STG a lot making it have no visual recoil and then you got on some of the attachments that I have it makes it an overall top AR meta”.
FaZe Swagg “AIMBOT” STG44 loadout
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: VDD 760mm 05B
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: VDD 34S Weighted
- Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Perk 1: Focus
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
Swagg makes this weapon as steady as can be from long-range with the VDD 760mm 05B, VDD 34S Weighted, and m1941 Hand Stop. Thanks to the recent buff Swagg can afford to swap the F8 Stabilizer for the Recoil Booster which increases the fire rate significantly.
The G16 2.5x optic is standard for Warzone Pacific as are the 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags. Finally, Swagg makes an interesting choice to forgo the popular Vital Perk and instead opt for Focus which reduces the amount of flinch given while shot whilst aiming.
This means when enemy players are trying to take Swagg down, he can still get clean shots off and escape with his life.
