Warzone has a wide assortment of great Sniper Rifles for you to choose from, including the AX-50 and LW3 Tundra. One extremely powerful gem is Cold War’s M82, which is modeled after the Barret.

Every shot from this gun lands a powerful blow, and you can maximize its potential by using the right perks and attachments.

Here is the best Warzone M82 loadout Season 5.

Best Warzone M82 loadout

Best Warzone M82 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Wrapped Suppressor
  • Barrel: 22.6″ Combat Recon
  • Underbarrel: Bipod
  • Rear Grip: SASR Jungle Grip
  • Ammunition: 7 Rnd

Our best Warzone M82 loadout class will focus on improving the bullet velocity and bullet drop. We’ll start off with the Wrapped Suppressor to boost its recoil control, bullet velocity, and effective damage range.

We’ll further improve the bullet velocity with the 22.6″ Combat Recon barrel at the cost of a slight reduction in aiming stability. We’ll then bring the weapon’s recoil under control with the Bipod underbarrel.

We picked the SASR Jungle Grip for this loadout because it provides a healthy boost to the weapon’s ADS speed, which is a weakness of most Sniper Rifles.

And finally, as the best Warzone M82 loadout is a semi-automatic sniper rifle, you’ll want to have a few more rounds in the mag. The 7 Rnd magazine is perfect as you’re capable of firing more shots down range without delay, and it offers no negative attribute.

Best perks for Warzone M82 class

  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Overkill / Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped

While sniping, repositioning between shots is vital. That’s why we recommend selecting Double Time to increase your Tactical Sprint duration along with your sprinting speed.

It’s always better to pair a Sniper Rifle with an Assault Rifle or SMG for close-range encounters. Overkill will allow you to take two primary weapons from your first loadout. Then you collect Ghost from your next loadout to hide from enemy UAVs.

Finally, you should pick Amped as it allows you to instantly change to your secondary weapon, further increasing your speed on the map.

How to unlock the M82

The M82 Sniper Rifle is easy to unlock in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. You need to hit Rank 55.

This is the max level you can reach, so play the game, take advantage of Double XP events, and complete challenges to quickly reach Rank 55. It will then be available for use in Warzone and Cold War.

Best alternatives

If you’re looking for some great alternatives to the best Warzone M82 loadout, then Warzone has many great choices. The Kar98k boasts high bullet velocity, one-shot headshots, and excellent mobility, making it the best Sniper Rifle for controller players.

The Swiss K31 Sniper Rifle is another great pick. It’s got excellent bullet velocity, incredibly fast ADS, and is just as good as the Kar98.

Fan-favorite Warzone weapon kills faster than the best Vanguard guns

An iconic MW Assault Rifle has returned for a second stint in the spotlight and it kills faster than the best Vanguard weapons in Warzone.

Despite there being over 40 new Vanguard weapons in Warzone Pacific, a fan-favorite Modern Warfare Assault Rifle is proving to be superior to its newest competition.

Since Vanguard weapons joined the pool of options in Warzone Pacific many top choices have come and gone. At first, it seemed like Vanguard weapons would dominate the battlefield, but now one forgotten MW weapon is reclaiming its throne as the top Assault Rifle option.

Warzone players who refuse to embark on the grueling journey of leveling up Vanguard weapons will be pleased to hear that this fan-favorite AR is making a significant comeback.

The Kilo 141 is proving that Warzone Pacific players don’t need Vanguard to compete with high-powered meta options. The iconic Assault Rifle from Modern Warfare certainly had a long stint in the spotlight as Warzone’s best AR before gradually fading away.

In a recent video Call of Duty content creator IceManIsaac proves that the fan-favorite AR is statistically superior to the best Vanguard weapons in certain situations.

Best Warzone Pacific Kilo 141 loadout

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Singuard Arms 19.8″ Prowler Barrel
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags

In the video, IceManIsaac analyzes the TTK of the Kilo 141 in comparison to Vanguard’s two best Warzone weapons in the STG44 and Bren. The stats show that when ADS maneuvering is taken into consideration, the Kilo has a lower TTK than the STG44 and Bren.

The experienced CoD veteran explains that the Kilo’s biggest weakness is damage dropoff that kicks in at extremely long distances of over 50 meters.

Considering Caldera’s terrain and the nature of the majority of gunfights, the Kilo won’t suffer from this weakness often which makes it one of the best ARs in Warzone Pacific.

Many Warzone Pacific players do not own Vanguard which makes leveling up Vanguard weapons in Warzone a troublesome task especially since loadouts arrive later in Warzone Pacific matches.

This meta Kilo option offers players a solution that allows them to maintain a competitive edge.

Best Cold War AK-47 loadout for CoD: Warzone Pacific Season 1

Here are the right Perks and attachments to create the best Black Ops Cold War AK-47 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

The Cold War AK-47 is one of the most iconic weapons to arrive in Warzone, and even after Vanguard’s integration, it still remains a great option. Here are the attachments and perks to run to make the best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

Assault Rifles are a staple in Call of Duty, and the AK-47 is one of the most iconic weapons in Black Ops Cold War. You can use it to dish out some serious pain to your opponents at close and medium range.

Even with Warzone Pacific Season 1 well underway, with the mid-season update introducing a variety of changes, you can still use this weapon to cause some severe damage to foes.

We’ll go over the attachments and perks you should use to create the best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout.

Best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout

Best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 20” Spetsnaz RPK Barrel
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Ammunition: 45 Rnd

We’ll start the best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout off with the GRU Suppressor because of the sound suppression it offers in Warzone Pacific. Aside from keeping you hidden from foes, it will also boost the weapon’s damage range, vertical recoil range, and bullet velocity.

Next, we’ll equip the 20” Spetsnaz RPK Barrel to further improve the damage range and bullet velocity of the best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout. Plus, it actually helps with recoil control, so it is arguably the best barrel choice for fighting at range.

Then, the Spetsnaz Grip gives a solid extra boost to your horizontal and vertical recoil control when using the best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout. The Axial Arms 3x Optic will go well with the gun’s new precision. But, if you plan on using it at medium-range too, the Microflex LED is a solid choice.

Finally, we’ll cap off the loadout with the 45 Rnd to give the AK-47 plenty of ammo to take down multiple enemies. If you’re playing Quads, you could also use the Bakelite 60 Rnd, at the cost of ADS speed.

Best Perks to use with Warzone AK-47 class

  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill / Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped

Your killstreaks can easily be ruined by enemy players that chuck grenades and other explosives at you. For that reason, we recommend equipping E.O.D to make you more resistant to explosive damage.

For your first loadout drop, you should select Overkill so that you can pair this formidable Assault Rifle with a Sniper Rifle. Then, collect the Ghost perk from your second loadout drop to hide from enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.

Finally, this AK-47 build is quite heavy so you should use Amped to increase your weapon swap speed and make sure that you have the right gun for each situation.

Most recent Cold War AK-47 buffs and nerfs in Warzone

Cold War’s AK-47 was last tweaked in Warzone Pacific’s December 9 update. However, the small adjustment to its initial recoil has done little to affect its popularity.

  • AK-47 (BOCW)
    • Initial Recoil Deviation increased

How to unlock the Cold War AK-47

To unlock this AK-47 for Warzone use, you’ll need to reach Level 7 in Call of Duty’s battle royale or Black Ops Cold War, which can be done in no time at all.

Just hop into a few games and start grinding out your skillset until you get your hands on this powerful Assault Rifle.

Best alternatives to Cold War’s AK-47

If you’re looking for a great alternative to the AK-47, then we recommend going with the STG44 which is another powerful AR choice. Or, the Bren has also become very popular in the Warzone Pacific meta, standing out as a hard-hitting long-range LMG.

Warzone’s minimap is showing a building that doesn’t exist

Warzone players have noticed that the game’s minimap shows a gigantic building that doesn’t exist on the actual map.

Published

Call of Duty: Warzone players are confused about a large building that shows up in the game’s minimap but doesn’t seem to exist anywhere on the actual map.

Warzone players have been reporting an abundance of problems ever since the launch of the Caldera map. These performance issues have been ruining fans’ enjoyment of the Call of Duty title.

There are new problems frequently being found within the game. The Warzone minimap helps you navigate around the map, and players are now reporting that it’s showing a building that doesn’t exist.

Reddit user ‘Butterflychunks’ highlighted this in the CoD: Warzone subreddit. The minimap showed a large building marked by a trolley icon, but it was nowhere to be seen when the player visited this location.

Another user also reported this same problem: “Had a final circle over here the other day. I marked this spot on the map as our destination. I was a bit surprised when I got close and realized we needed to find an alternative.”

This led to many of the commenters speculating whether the GPS is broken or if the problem lies within the map itself. Others found this amusing and began to joke about the missing building.

“It only reveals itself to those it finds worthy,” one user sarcastically stated. Another commenter joked that the building is “flying like the rest of the game.”

Other users were less amused by this strange phenomenon and expressed their frustration with Warzone’s issues. One commenter who encountered the same missing building claimed that the game is “broken beyond repair.”

Another user stated that this is due to the limitations of the minimap: “When you ping a location it tells your distance if you were to travel in a straight line, however, it does not account for the change in elevation to get to the point.”

We’ll have to wait and see if the developers address the missing building. They are currently dealing with the various performance issues that have caused the delay of Warzone Pacific Season 2.
