Even in Warzone Pacific Season 2, the MAC-10 is still one of the best SMG loadout choices in the game. Now, you can make the best MAC-10 CoD loadout possible with our complete guide.

Call of Duty: Warzone is now well into its integration with Vanguard, but the Black Ops Cold War MAC-10 SMG continues to reign supreme as an elite killer in Warzone Pacific Season 2.

Despite other SMGs giving the MAC-10 a run for its money, the weapon remains one of the best close-range choices, especially after the MP40 nerf.

We’ve gathered the most useful attachments and Perks you can run to dominate Warzone Pacific Season 2 with our best Warzone MAC-10 loadout.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 5.9″ Task Force
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum

To keep yourself hidden from the minimap in Warzone while increasing your bullet velocity, aim down sight speed, and sprint to fire speed, there’s no better option than the Agency Suppressor. It will transform the MAC-10 into an entirely new, insanely dominant weapon for close-quarter battles.

A larger MAC-10 magazine allows for a longer burst of fire if needed, and given that Warzone can throw a whole squad at you, the STANAG 53 Rnd Drum will justify itself in these situations.

There are a few barrels that you can go for, but the 5.9″ Task Force is the best option in our eyes. At the minor cost of some recoil control, you can significantly increase the weapon’s range, damage, and mobility.

The Tiger Team Spotlight will help make you even more agile when using the best Warzone MAC-10 loadout, as it provides a big boost to your movement speed and aim walking speed.

These attachments will weigh the MAC-10 down considerably, so you should add the Raider Stock for extra mobility. You’ll have increased sprint-to-fire time and be able to strafe shoot with ease.

Best Perks & Equipment to use with Warzone MAC-10

E.O.D Perk in Call of Duty Warzone
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill / Ghost
  • Perk 3: Combat Scout
  • Lethal Equipment: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical Equipment: Stim

The MAC-10 is a weapon you want to use up-close, so the E.O.D Perk is necessary. You’ll be able to tank an onslaught of explosives, keeping you in the fight.

Overkill will allow you to have an Assault Rifle, LMG, or Sniper Rifle as your primary weapon for greater distance battles when using the best Warzone MAC-10 loadout.

You can then get the Ghost perk from a second loadout to hide from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors. And for Perk 3, Combat Scout is a solid choice. Make sure you land even a single shot, and it will light up your opponent with a live ping marker for five seconds – game-changer.

As for Equipment, we’ve chosen to use the Throwing Knife to quickly eliminate downed opponents, and also the Stim Tactical Equipment to prevent you from dying to the zone or any other sticky situation.

Most recent buffs and nerfs to MAC-10 in Warzone

Raven Software has tinkered with the MAC-10 here and there since the gun came into Warzone with the Cold War integration.

The latest update for MAC-10 was back in the Season 4 Reloaded update, and here’s the full extent of those changes:

  • MAC-10 (BOCW)
    • Maximum Damage decreased from 24 to 23
    • Minimum Damage decreased from 20 to 19

How to unlock the MAC-10

BOCW MAC-10 SMG unlock challenge

To unlock the MAC-10 in Warzone, you’ll need to kill two or more players rapidly, using SMGs, in 15 different matches.

The quickest and easiest way to unlock the MAC-10 is to play Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer and queue into small maps like Nuketown ’84. Remember to complete each match, too, as leaving early causes issues with progress tracking.

For Warzone, you can either queue into Caldera Clash or with an SMG equipped and aggressively push teams.

Best alternatives to MAC-10

Vanguard Welgun SMG

The best Warzone MAC-10 loadout excels up close, so if you’re looking for another weapon to fill its spot, there are a few options.

The Welgun excels greatly at close range and is another great option for close-quarters combat on both Rebirth Island and Caldera. If you’re looking for something with more range the Owen Gun is a solid pick.

Warzone players call for devs to remove Shotguns after Season 3 Reloaded damage nerfs

Many now feel that Warzone’s Shotguns are pointless after the damage nerfs that came with the Season 3 Reloaded update.

Warzone Pacific players are pretty disappointed with the Shotgun nerfs in the Season 3 Reloaded update, with some even claiming the weapon category should be removed entirely.

While some of the changes introduced in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update are being praised, some are not too happy with the weapon buffs and nerfs, especially when it comes to the Shotgun category.

Shotguns aren’t the most meta weapons to use in Warzone, but they have previously held their own in close-range battles. With the recent health pool change, the devs decided to nerf the damage of a variety of Shotguns, causing some discontent in the community.

SMGs have dominated the close-range battles in Warzone Pacific, leaving hardly any room for Shotguns to excel.

Things have now seemingly gotten worse for Shotguns in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update, as the Streetsweeper, Gallo, JAK-1, Origin 12, R-90, and Gracey Auto all had their damages reduced by 20%.

Reddit user Gtaher0 highlighted these changes with the caption “Holy Jesus,” indicating a sense of shock.

Users in the comments have chipped in, also shocked about the changes and slightly disappointed, with one player even feeling as if Shotguns should be removed from the loot pool: “Remove shotgun ground loot.”

This is mainly because, as another user states, “some shotguns don’t even have enough rounds needed to down some players.”

On the other hand, some aren’t that bothered, feeling as if most of the Shotguns that were nerfed are rarely used anyway: “Jak12 and Streetsweeper were pretty nutty. Other ones I never saw used in-game over the last 3 months.”

Warzone Pacific players have been enjoying the new Squad HUD feature which came with the Season 3 Reloaded update, with some calling it “amazing.”

Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is finally here, and while players are getting to grips with the new Underground Transit System on Caldera, some are also very satisfied with the new Squad HUD feature.

This new feature gives players a clear view of the team’s resources, including the Killstreaks they are holding, the amount of money, the number of Armor Plates they are carrying, and also if they have a Gas Mask.

Although it seems like a small feature, the community is loving it, with some even describing it as “amazing.”

Reddit user Mobile750APKStore put a post up in the Warzone subreddit highlighting the new expandable Squad HUD in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded.

The feature is a nice quality of life change that gives players a better view of their teammates’ resources. This will improve the communication and flow of the game, as players will easily be able to see what their squad needs, without even having to ask or wait for a response.

The community has been reacting to this new feature in the comments of this Reddit post, with one user stating that the Squad HUD is “amazing.” In the same breath, the user hilariously also claims that it is a hindrance when it comes to lying about the number of plates you have:

“This is amazing…But now I can’t lie to my teammates about having no plates :(.”

Of course, this is actually great when it comes to teamwork, as players who lie about the number of plates they have can now be caught out and will be encouraged to share with the team.

Aside from the comedic comment, others also seem very happy with the new feature, especially as it has been asked for by the community in the past. One comment said, “I remember seeing that post and loving it. Thrilled to see that it’s become a reality.”

Hopefully Raven can continue to bring features like this to the game and make players happy. For more, check out how the brand new Champion of Caldera LTM works.

Call of Duty players are terrified that last-gen consoles will ruin Warzone 2

Fans of the battle royale are concerned that Warzone 2’s potential compatibility with last-gen consoles could ruin the game.

Players are hoping that the highly anticipated sequel does not include past-gen compatibility, as they fear this could completely ruin the Warzone 2 experience for current-gen users.

The next Call of Duty era is right around the corner, and excitement for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has begun to mount ahead of June 2022. Leaks have revealed several details of the battle royale sequel including a new interrogation system and a sneak peek at what the map could look like.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive reaction at this early stage, there are players who are wary of yet to be confirmed aspects of Warzone 2. One of these unknowns is the result of the game’s compatibility with past-gen consoles.

Ghost in Call of Duty Warzone

As it stands, there has not been confirmation concerning Warzone 2’s compatibility with past-gen consoles. While we know for sure that the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, past-gen compatibility has not been confirmed.

However, thanks to Vanguard in-game files, data miners discovered that Modern Warfare 2 will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. This reveal did not sit well with players who took to the Warzone subreddit to discuss the repercussions of a similar experience for Warzone 2.

The player who wrote the original post believes that the overall performance and quality of Warzone 2 could suffer if it has to cater to past-gen hardware. This player is worried that the same limitations holding the current iteration of Warzone back could also plague the sequel.

The comments proved that players were completely split on the issue. Some point to the shortage of current-gen consoles as a valid reason for making Warzone 2 accessible to all, “isolating people cause they don’t have new consoles is stupid and not enough people are on new gen consoles anyway.”

While others had less sympathy, stating that at a certain point developers need to move the overall experience to the next level, “once the new s*** comes out, you need the new console for the new experience and the better graphics etc.”

Early reports from renowned leaker Tom Henderson initially revealed that Warzone 2 would only release on current-gen consoles and PC, but he did not rule out the possibility of a separate version for past-gen players. This solution is similar to what the original post details, but we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from the devs to find out if this is even possible.
