Best Warzone Nikita AVT loadout

The Nikita AVT is a brand-new Assault Rifle in Warzone Season 3, rocking a blistering fire rate that is higher than any other Vanguard AR. Find out how you should be setting the new weapon up with our best Nikita AVT loadout in Warzone Season 3.

Warzone Season 3 is finally here, and Raven have once again decided to shake up the meta on Caldera. Along with serious buffs and nerfs to much of the existing roster, a handful of new weapons have also been thrown into the mix.

The Nikita AVT is the latest Assualt Rifle looking to challenge the big players in its class, with its SMG-like fire rate and impressive TTK. But does it have what it takes to become a truly meta weapon?

If you’re going to run the Nikita AVT in the new season, you’ll need to know the very best attachments and Perks to get the most out of it. This is our best Nikata AVT loadout for Warzone Season 3.

Best Warzone Nikita AVT loadout attachments

Nikita AVT in Warzone
  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: Empress 613mm BFA
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: ZAC MS
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 7.62x54MMR 45 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Proficiency: Perfectionist
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

The Nikita AVT’s unbelievable fire rate is countered by its tricky recoil, so our loadout is geared around keeping the AR under control and adapting it for long-range encounters. We kick things off with the Mercury Silencer, which helps curb some of the recoil and, crucially, keeps your shots nice and quiet.

Next up is the Empire 613mm BFA Barrel, which is the perfect option as it boosts both control and range at the same time, helping some of the weapon’s natural shortcomings. We then added the ZAC MS Stock, aiding horizontal accuracy as well as lowering the ADS speed.

Warzone Operator vaulting with Nikita AVT

For even more accuracy, the classic M1941 Hand Stop is a must, and the extra capacity of the 7.62x54MMR 45 Round Mags means that the Nikita AVT’s fire rate won’t leave you having to reload after each kill. In terms of Optics, we chose a standard Slate Reflector, but feel free to swap this for whichever sight suits your playstyle.

Polymer Grip is another essential pick, as it offers another drastic boost to recoil control and helps keep things steady in long-range fights. For the Ammo Type, Lengenthed remains the best choice in Season 3 thanks to its overall damage increase.

Finally, we chose the Perfectionist Proficiency for one last increase in recoil control, along with Fully Loaded to ensure you have maximum ammo at your disposal from the get-go. With these attachments, paired with the Nikita AVT’s ridiculous speed and TTK, you’re left with the perfect Assault Rifle for almost any scenario.

Best Warzone Perks & Equipment to use with Nikita AVT

Warzone Operator firing Nikita AVT
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stim

You can take the Nikita AVT into both short and long-range fights, but the risk of a rogue explosive being thrown your way is unavoidable. With this in mind, we recommend using E.O.D to soak up some of the damage.

The new AR also makes for an ideal Sniper support, so you’ll want to equip Overkill so you can bring your favorite rifle along. We recommend the HDR or AX-50. Then, collect Ghost to remain hidden from enemy UAVs.

Once you have two primaries at your disposal, running Amped will allow you to switch between the two quickly so you’re never left with the wrong gun in your hands.

Lastly, the Semtex is an easy-to-use Lethal that can dispatch multiple enemies at once, while Stims provide a quick health boost to help you escape tricky situations.

How to unlock the Nikita AVT in Warzone

Nikita AVT in Warzone Season 3 Battle Pass

To unlock the Nikita AVT Assault Rifle, all players have to do is reach Tier 31 in the Season 3 Battle Pass.

Don’t worry, this is one of the many free Tiers on the Battle Pass, so you don’t have to worry about spending money to get your hands on the latest weapon. Simply grind enough XP and it’s all yours.

Best alternatives to Nikita AVT in Warzone

There’s no shortage of great Assualt Rifles to choose from in Warzone if the Nikita AVT isn’t working for you. The Automaton is a user-friendly option that doesn’t have as impressive a TTK but is very easy to control.

If not, one of the meta ARs like the Cooper Carbine or XM4 is probably the safest bet, as these have been proven to work beautifully on Caldera.

Warzone players call for devs to remove Shotguns after Season 3 Reloaded damage nerfs

Many now feel that Warzone’s Shotguns are pointless after the damage nerfs that came with the Season 3 Reloaded update.

Warzone Pacific players are pretty disappointed with the Shotgun nerfs in the Season 3 Reloaded update, with some even claiming the weapon category should be removed entirely.

While some of the changes introduced in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update are being praised, some are not too happy with the weapon buffs and nerfs, especially when it comes to the Shotgun category.

Shotguns aren’t the most meta weapons to use in Warzone, but they have previously held their own in close-range battles. With the recent health pool change, the devs decided to nerf the damage of a variety of Shotguns, causing some discontent in the community.

SMGs have dominated the close-range battles in Warzone Pacific, leaving hardly any room for Shotguns to excel.

Things have now seemingly gotten worse for Shotguns in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update, as the Streetsweeper, Gallo, JAK-1, Origin 12, R-90, and Gracey Auto all had their damages reduced by 20%.

Reddit user Gtaher0 highlighted these changes with the caption “Holy Jesus,” indicating a sense of shock.

Users in the comments have chipped in, also shocked about the changes and slightly disappointed, with one player even feeling as if Shotguns should be removed from the loot pool: “Remove shotgun ground loot.”

This is mainly because, as another user states, “some shotguns don’t even have enough rounds needed to down some players.”

On the other hand, some aren’t that bothered, feeling as if most of the Shotguns that were nerfed are rarely used anyway: “Jak12 and Streetsweeper were pretty nutty. Other ones I never saw used in-game over the last 3 months.”

Warzone Pacific players have been enjoying the new Squad HUD feature which came with the Season 3 Reloaded update, with some calling it “amazing.”

Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is finally here, and while players are getting to grips with the new Underground Transit System on Caldera, some are also very satisfied with the new Squad HUD feature.

This new feature gives players a clear view of the team’s resources, including the Killstreaks they are holding, the amount of money, the number of Armor Plates they are carrying, and also if they have a Gas Mask.

Although it seems like a small feature, the community is loving it, with some even describing it as “amazing.”

Reddit user Mobile750APKStore put a post up in the Warzone subreddit highlighting the new expandable Squad HUD in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded.

The feature is a nice quality of life change that gives players a better view of their teammates’ resources. This will improve the communication and flow of the game, as players will easily be able to see what their squad needs, without even having to ask or wait for a response.

The community has been reacting to this new feature in the comments of this Reddit post, with one user stating that the Squad HUD is “amazing.” In the same breath, the user hilariously also claims that it is a hindrance when it comes to lying about the number of plates you have:

“This is amazing…But now I can’t lie to my teammates about having no plates :(.”

Of course, this is actually great when it comes to teamwork, as players who lie about the number of plates they have can now be caught out and will be encouraged to share with the team.

Aside from the comedic comment, others also seem very happy with the new feature, especially as it has been asked for by the community in the past. One comment said, “I remember seeing that post and loving it. Thrilled to see that it’s become a reality.”

Hopefully Raven can continue to bring features like this to the game and make players happy. For more, check out how the brand new Champion of Caldera LTM works.

Call of Duty players are terrified that last-gen consoles will ruin Warzone 2

Fans of the battle royale are concerned that Warzone 2’s potential compatibility with last-gen consoles could ruin the game.

Players are hoping that the highly anticipated sequel does not include past-gen compatibility, as they fear this could completely ruin the Warzone 2 experience for current-gen users.

The next Call of Duty era is right around the corner, and excitement for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has begun to mount ahead of June 2022. Leaks have revealed several details of the battle royale sequel including a new interrogation system and a sneak peek at what the map could look like.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive reaction at this early stage, there are players who are wary of yet to be confirmed aspects of Warzone 2. One of these unknowns is the result of the game’s compatibility with past-gen consoles.

Ghost in Call of Duty Warzone

As it stands, there has not been confirmation concerning Warzone 2’s compatibility with past-gen consoles. While we know for sure that the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, past-gen compatibility has not been confirmed.

However, thanks to Vanguard in-game files, data miners discovered that Modern Warfare 2 will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. This reveal did not sit well with players who took to the Warzone subreddit to discuss the repercussions of a similar experience for Warzone 2.

The player who wrote the original post believes that the overall performance and quality of Warzone 2 could suffer if it has to cater to past-gen hardware. This player is worried that the same limitations holding the current iteration of Warzone back could also plague the sequel.

The comments proved that players were completely split on the issue. Some point to the shortage of current-gen consoles as a valid reason for making Warzone 2 accessible to all, “isolating people cause they don’t have new consoles is stupid and not enough people are on new gen consoles anyway.”

While others had less sympathy, stating that at a certain point developers need to move the overall experience to the next level, “once the new s*** comes out, you need the new console for the new experience and the better graphics etc.”

Early reports from renowned leaker Tom Henderson initially revealed that Warzone 2 would only release on current-gen consoles and PC, but he did not rule out the possibility of a separate version for past-gen players. This solution is similar to what the original post details, but we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from the devs to find out if this is even possible.
