Best Warzone OTs 9 loadout

Even with all of the weapon balance changes made since Caldera’s arrival, the OTs 9 is still an extremely effective SMG. Here are the best attachments and Perks to make the best OTs 9 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

While the SMG meta in Warzone Pacific Season 3 has been dominated by weapons like the MP40 and Welgun, there are other weapons that remain viable picks for close-range combat situations.

The OTs 9 is one of the top 10 SMGs in Warzone, and this fast-firing gun can be especially effective in close-quarters battles on Rebirth Island. You can make it even deadlier with the right attachments and Perks.

Here’s the best Warzone Pacific Season 3 OTs 9 loadout.

Best Warzone OTs 9 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 8.1″ Task Force
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Ammunition: VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

We’ll start off this Warzone OTs 9 loadout with the GRU Suppressor for the boost it provides to the SMG’s bullet velocity, range, and recoil control. It also has the added benefit of keeping you off the minimap when firing.

Next, we’ll equip the 8.1″ Task Force barrel to further boost damage range while improving your strafe speed. The Serpent Wrap will speed up the weapon’s ADS time and the KGB Skeletal Stock will improve mobility.

Finally, to get the largest magazine size possible, you should use the VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag which also gives a much faster reload speed to the weapon.

Best Perks & Equipment to use with OTs 9 class

  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill/Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal Equipment: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical Equipment: Stim

We recommend equipping the E.O.D Perk in your first slot to protect you from explosive damage. This will be useful when enemies throw grenades from around corners in Rebirth Island’s closed spaces.

You’ll want to collect Overkill so that you can pair the OTs 9 with a long range weapon. You can then equip Ghost from your second loadout drop to stay hidden from Heartbeat Sensors and UAVs.

We picked Amped for our final Perk, as it allows you to switch weapons much faster. For Equipment, the Throwing Knife is perfect for quickly finishing off downed enemies, and Stims will grant you a health boost.

How to unlock the OTs 9 in Warzone

Unlocking the OTs 9 is relatively simple but time-consuming, requiring you to complete at least 15 different matches.

This is the challenge you will need to complete:

  • Using SMGs, kill 2 or more players rapidly in 15 different completed matches.

We recommend jumping into Rebirth Island, where you’ll have many more opportunities to get two SMG kills in quick succession. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to add the OTs 9 to your inventory.

Best alternatives to Warzone’s OTs 9

If you’re looking for a great alternative to Warzone’s OTs 9, it’s between the Armaguerra and Owen Gun. These are both top-tier SMGs and you’ll find great success using any of them in Season 3.

Warzone players divided over frustrating skydiving gun fights

The Warzone community is split over how they feel about skydiving gun battles, with some claiming they’re unrealistic.

Published

on

Skydiving into the map on Warzone can be quite the task, especially when enemies are gunning you down mid-air, leading to mixed opinions about the mechanic.

Upon release of the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update, the community was happy to see some much-need changes to the meta, bringing Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons back in line.

Unfortunately, many haven’t been too fond of the recent efforts to reverse this in the August 3 update, which saw the Kilo and VLK Rogue nerfed.

Along with this, players have also been experiencing some serious frame drops associated with the ping system, leading to some disappointed players. Now, some in the community are having an issue with a mechanic that has been in the game since the start.

The ability to gun down your enemies while dropping into the map on Warzone has been a feature since the very beginning.

While it has frustrated players over the years, as starting a game and instantly being downed isn’t the greatest feeling, it has never been a serious issue in the community.

However, after GodOfEggs69 highlighted the feature on the Warzone subreddit and expressed their opinion, it created a divide. The user feels that players “should not be able to ever so accurately hit multiple shots at another target that is falling from 1000 feet.”

Ultimately, they feel it is unrealistic that an enemy can beam them while skydiving, and with almost 400 upvotes at the time of writing this article, it seems many agree. A comment under the post even said: “I still don’t understand why we can shoot our guns when falling at 200mph, but not when we have our parachute pulled.”

Others in the comments of the post feel differently, with opinions such as “It’s a video game lol,” and that the user should “try getting better instead of complaining about everything.”

Some also feel it is odd that this is being complained about now, with another user saying “did you just install the game? lmao where are these complaints coming from, this s*** has been in the game since day 1.”

Perhaps the new iteration of Warzone will address all these concerns and issues, as even Zlaner has requested that the devs remove a feature from the game for Warzone 2.

When is Plunder coming back to Warzone?

With Warzone having multiple modes to play, players are left wondering when the fan-favorite Plunder mode will return.

Published

Warzone Pacific features a healthy rotation of different game modes to provide variety, but when is the popular Plunder game mode set to return to the playlist?

Warzone features plenty of fun game modes for you to try out, including the fan-favorite Plunder mode that allows you to respawn and easily level up weapons before getting back in the fight.

Since the developers want to keep things fresh for players, new game modes frequently rotate in and out of the playlist, and Plunder can’t be a constant presence in the game. We’ll go over when the mode will be back in the game.

When is Plunder coming back to Warzone?

Raven Software released the playlist update schedule on the official Warzone Trello board, confirming that Plunder Quads will be coming back to Warzone on August 11 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.

The popular game mode will remain available until August 18 and then Golden Plunder will take its place. This is similar to regular Plunder but with a higher player count and increased cash drops.

After that, it remains to be seen when the developers will add Plunder back to the playlist again. So, be sure to try out Plunder Quads in Season 4 Reloaded before its removed from the playlist.

While fans of Plunder might be disappointed to see it get removed from Warzone Pacific again, implementing playlist updates ensures that there is a greater variety of game modes for you to hop into.

We’ll be sure to update this article as soon as a new date for Plunder’s return is officially confirmed after its removal, so be sure to check back with us if you’re eager to jump back into the beloved game mode.

Warzone players beg for Modern Warfare LTM ahead of MW2 release

Modern Warfare weapons are some of the most well-liked in Warzone, and an exclusive MW LTM is exactly what players are craving.

Published

on

Warzone players revealed that a Modern Warfare exclusive LTM is at the top of their wish list leading up to Modern Warfare 2’s October 28 release.

Since the start of Season 4 Reloaded, Warzone players have been vocal about wanting to return to Verdansk one last time before the focus shifts to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. While this massive map overhaul is unlikely to occur in Warzone Season 5, players seem willing to compromise.

One aspect of early Verdansk that players enjoyed the most was the reliance on Modern Warfare weapons. Compared to Cold War and Vanguard weapons, MW weapons bring an appealing sense of nostalgia to the table.

Prior to the release of Modern Warfare 2, players want to see MW weapons return to the spotlight with a new Warzone LTM.

When Vanguard weapons made their way to Warzone, the devs delivered a special Vanguard Royale LTM that excluded weapons from Modern Warfare and Cold War. In this LTM, players could only rely on Vanguard weapons and Equipment.

Now, players are asking for a version of the same LTM but with a Modern Warfare twist. It’s no surprise that players favor the Modern Warfare era of Warzone and this LTM would give them a chance to relive some fond memories.

The hypothetical Warzone Pacific LTM would give players a chance to get excited about Modern Warfare content without having to return to Verdansk.

Players in the comments of a Reddit post agreed that the likelihood of receiving such an LTM was extremely low, but some expanded on the idea of separating each title and its weapons into three playlists: “It’s a shame though, I would love if they did a single-game BR rotation between Vanguard, Cold War, and MW19.”

The majority of players insisted that “If it isn’t promoting their new game, they won’t do it.”

However, one reply suggested that putting the focus back on Modern Warfare weapons with an exclusive LTM would actually help promote Modern Warfare 2, which is slated to release on October 28: “To be fair, doing MW would help hype up MWII.”

It remains to be seen what Raven has planned for Warzone’s swansong in Season 5. Although a Modern Warfare exclusive LTM across Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep is unlikely, players will keep their fingers crossed.
