On March 28, Raven Software revealed that they updated and reworked several Warzone Perks to further balance gameplay. Some Perks received interesting buffs which are sure to increase their popularity.
However, one popular Perk could not escape a massive nerf that is surely going to impact its viability. As you may already know that Perk is none other than Ghost, which had its ability to keep players hidden severely diminished.
Let’s take a look at the best Warzone Perks to use after the significant Ghost nerf.
On March 28 Warzone players were shocked to discover that several Perks had been secretly tweaked. These changes were not mentioned in the patch notes for the Season 2 Reloaded update but thanks to some great detective work from JGOD and TrueGameData, players learned of these major Perk changes.
The changes had the most significant impact on the Perk 2 slot also known as the Red Perk slot. Not only did Ghost receive a crushing nerf that prevents the Perk from activating if the player is not moving, but Restock also received a major buff that now makes it hard to ignore.
New Warzone Perk meta after Ghost nerf
Following a statement from Raven confirming that E.O.D, Scavenger, Ghost, Restock, and Quick Fix had all been adjusted, IceManIsaac released a video discussing which Perks players should equip to maximize Warzone success.
Obviously, the biggest concern is finding a replacement for the highly used Ghost. The Warzone expert claims that with the recharge time reduced from 50 seconds to 25 seconds, Restock is now one of the best Perks in the game. If you’re not familiar with the Perk, it allows players to recharge equipment in mere seconds.
Make sure to equip the Semtex Lethal and Stun Tactical as your equipment and you’ll dominate in no time. In the video, he explains why Restock is so great, “every single gunfight I can go in with a Semtex that can do up to 225 damage, two of those, and Stuns which are incredibly overpowered.”
It’s also important to note that he suggests players also switch from Combat Scout to Battle Hardened. This will be an effective method to counter enemy Stun Grenades that are expected to take over Warzone shortly.
