Best Warzone QBZ Loadout

Warzone Season 3 is now well underway, and the QBZ-83 is an underrated gem that’s worth running, so here is how to make the best Warzone QBZ loadout.

Black Ops Cold War’s weapons coming to Warzone has seriously altered the meta and even changed the mode’s time-to-kill. More fast-firing Assault Rifles have joined the game. They’ve quickly become the go-to choice for the majority of players. One of these powerful ARs is the QBZ-83, commonly referred to as the Type 95.

With an impressively quick rate of fire for an Assault Rifle, you may not be looking for an SMG the next time you’re in close-quarters combat, but instead reaching for the Type 95.

Best Warzone QBZ loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake 5.56
  • Barrel: 16.5″ Ranger
  • Underbarrel: Foregrip
  • Stock: Marathon Stock
  • Sight: Diamondback Reflex

Thanks to its high rate of fire, the QBZ is lethal up close and doesn’t really need to have that stat improved. Over longer distances, though, the gun can struggle, so this selection is designed to make the best Warzone QBZ loadout more of an all-rounder compared to its base stats.

The weapon has quite a kick when you first fire, so combining Muzzle Brake and Foregrip should help you control it a little easier, while the Diamondback Reflex will make it easier to lock on to your enemies who are further away.

The 16.5″ Ranger barrel should give you a little more firepower over long distances, while the Marathon Stock should still let you pull up your gun with an improved sprint-to-fire time should you find yourself surprised by a close-quarters opponent.

Best Perks for Warzone QBZ class

  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Tracker

Many players tend to stick with the same perks regardless of what weapon they’re running in Warzone, but sometimes switching things up can be especially useful, depending on how you intend to play during a match.

While most Assault Rifles lend themselves to a slower, methodical pace, the best Warzone QBZ loadout is effective up close, so using that to your advantage is key. Double Time will let you sprint around the map quickly and close distance to your enemies to put yourself at the optimum range to challenge enemies on Verdansk.

Double Time perk Warzone

Overkill is a good choice for the best Warzone QBZ loadout, as you can choose to equip a weapon that excels at long range like a Sniper Rifle, although Ghost is also a good choice if you want to remain undetected. Finally, using Tracker will help you hunt down enemies using their footprints, which is useful when you’re trying to get up-close and personal with your opponent.

How to unlock the QBZ-83

The QBZ is simple to unlock – there are no challenges or any time-consuming demands. You simply have to reach level 31.

Level 31 is a little over halfway through the levels, so play the game, take advantage of Double XP events, and complete challenges to quickly unlock the QBZ-83. It will then be available for use in Warzone and Cold War.

Best alternatives

Warzone M4A1 class

As the QBZ-83 is an Assault Rifle best suited for close-medium range, the FFAR 1 is an obvious contender. With an insanely high time-to-kill but admittedly worse recoil, the FFAR will pack more punch at close range. If you’re looking for an AR better suited for medium-long range engagements, the M4A1 will tear through the enemy’s armor.

Running the best Warzone QBZ loadout with these attachments and perks will offer you an extremely powerful close-medium range Assault Rifle class.

Warzone devs announce MG 82 nerf is officially coming

The MG 82 LMG has already proven it is overpowered, as the Warzone developers have announced that a nerf is coming for the Season 4 weapon.

Warzone MG 82 Nerf

Season 4 brought the MG 82 LMG to Call of Duty: Warzone, and it has proven to be a dominating force which has prompted Raven Software to announce that a nerf is indeed coming to the LMG.

Each new season of Warzone has brought new weapons for players to use in their battles, and Season 4 was no different with the addition of the MG 82 LMG, C58 Assault Rifle, and Nail Gun.

However, the MG 82 LMG quickly proved that it is taking over the meta, as the fast-firing and hard-hitting machine gun showed itself as easily one of the best guns that have ever been in the Call of Duty battle royale, with players having already called for it be nerfed.

After one whole day of this new LMG destroying players on Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island, Raven Software answered these calls and announced that a Warzone MG 82 nerf is indeed coming in the future.

The development studio took to its official Twitter account to reveal to the community that the new Season 4 LMG was a tad too powerful and that they would be taking a look and making adjustments to it. You can find Raven’s official announcement below:

“The MG 82 (BOCW) made one too many trips to the Pack-a-Punch machine before deploying to Verdansk. Element 115 is off limits in #Warzone, so we will be making an adjustment to this Weapon soon.”

Some players were sad to see the weapon already have a nerf planned for it after only one full day of it being in the game.

Others were happy to see that Raven Software was already working on a Warzone MG 82 nerf to make the LMG fairer than what it currently is in the first-person shooter.

The developer did not give an exact date for when players can expect to see the Warzone MG 82 nerf occur, so it remains to be seen how long the community will have to experience the new LMG in its current form.
