Best Warzone Rebirth Island landing spots

Warzone’s Rebirth Island offers a totally different experience, so here are the best landing spots available.

on

Rebirth Island is the second, smaller Warzone map. It offers a totally different experience to Verdansk, so here are the best landing spots to secure a win on Rebirth Island.

Rebirth Island is considerably smaller than Verdansk and currently only holds around 40 players. It’s a remodel of Black Ops 4: Blackout’s Alcatraz Island, with some familiar locations and some brand new assets.

The best landing spots in Rebirth Island are located in the highest areas at the center of the map. Elevation plays a key role here, as it’s easy to get stuck in an uphill battle.

Here are our favorite landing spots in Warzone Season 1’s Rebirth Island.

Prison Block

The Prison Block is in the dead center of the Island and serves as its main attraction. There are several floors to explore and a roof with plenty of loot. You can also go down to the basement where there’s loot and an escape route out to the cliffs.

This area is often contested, but once you have cleared out the enemy teams that landed with you, you’ll be able to control the whole map. Snipers and long-range Assault Rifles will be key to keeping enemies at bay and stopping them from climbing the hill to push you.

Be mindful of players using the cliffside escape route against you, though.

Living Quarters

Rebirth Island’s Living Quarters is located to the south of the island above the Security Area. There are plenty of buildings to loot, which will gear your squad up for the fight ahead. There’s also a Buy Station in this area, allowing you to grab a loadout drop quickly.

The best aspect of Living Quarters is that it has excellent high ground over the Security Area. Plenty of players land there as it’s in a secluded area at the edge of the map. There’s also a helicopter spawn down there, which a lot of players contest.

Pick up one of the Pelingtons or Kar98ks from the ground, and you’ll be able to hold the players down there effectively. Just be careful of snipers at the Headquarters above you, but they are easy to avoid once you know they’re there.

Chemical Engineering Office

Loot is extremely valuable in winning Rebirth Island, and the Chemical Engineering Office is full of it. Located to the north-east of the map, this area has everything you need for your round of Resurgence or Mini-Royale.

It’s quite a complex area, but the high-tier loot is worth it. Many players use the elevated center of the map to snipe from, but there’s plenty of cover to allow you to loot. If you go up onto the roof, you’ll have a great view of the Docks and Bioweapons labs.

Be prepared to fight your way into the high ground at the center of the map, but if you successfully loot the Chemical Engineering Office, you’ll have everything you need.

These are our favorite landing spots on Rebirth Island, but you can check out our list of every location on the smaller Warzone Map.

JGOD and LAPA SMG in Warzone

Call of Duty’s The Haunting event brought Black Ops Cold War’s final SMG, the LAPA, to Warzone, and popular content creator JGOD has revealed his best loadout for the weapon.

The LAPA SMG was added to Warzone Season 6 during The Haunting event. This new SMG boasts an impressive rate of fire along with great mobility and damage, making it a popular new pick.

This weapon also caught the attention of Call of Duty YouTuber JGOD, who believes that this weapon can “compete with the meta” in Season 6. He then revealed his loadout for the Warzone LAPA SMG.

In a new video, JGOD went over how to unlock the LAPA SMG in Warzone before going over his loadout for the weapon. His focus was on improving the SMG’s damage, range, mobility, and fire rate.

Here is JGOD’s Warzone LAPA SMG loadout:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 7.9” Rifled barrel
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: SAS Combat Stock
  • Magazine: STANAG 50 Rnd

The Agency Suppressor and 7.9” Rifled barrel boost the weapon’s damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. The sound suppression will help you stay undetected by enemies.

The Tiger Team Spotlight will improve your ADS speed so that you can react to enemies quicker, the SAS Combat Stock increases the gun’s overall movement speed.

Finally, he wrapped up this loadout with the STANAG 50 Rnd so that you have plenty of ammunition to take out multiple opponents before having to reload.

JGOD’s LAPA SMG loadout is perfect if you want to maximize your close-quarters DPS (Damage-Per-Second), and we expect many of his followers will be trying it out as well.

This weapon is already shaping up to be a worthy pick that is capable of competing with the other great SMGs in Warzone Season 6, so be sure to try it out for yourself the next time you hop into Verdansk.

NICKMERCS has returned to Warzone after a hiatus, and the popular content creator believes he has found the one SMG that will be replacing all of the other ones in the Call of Duty battle royale.

There is a wide range of powerful weapons that players can equip and use to dominate their enemies in Call of Duty: Warzone with SMGs being some of the best, especially when it comes to close-quarter battles.

Fan-favorite streamer and YouTuber NICKMERCS has recently dove into Warzone with one particular SMG that he believes is the replacement for all of the other ones available in Warzone.

This SMG that NICKMERCS believes is the replacement for every other SMG in Warzone is the OTs 9 from Black Ops Cold War.

This compact weapon has great mobility and stopping power making it a perfect choice for players when it comes to winning close-quarter gunfights.

You can find the Warzone OTs 9 loadout that NICKMERCS uses below:

  • Muzzle – GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel – 8.1″ Task Force
  • Laser – None
  • Optic – None
  • Stock – KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Underbarrel – None
  • Magazine VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag
  • Rear Grip – Serpent Wrap

The video that NICKMERCS used this OTs 9 Warzone loadout in showed off the power of this SMG in the Call of Duty battle royale, as he was able to secure a double-digit kill win in what would be a solid performance for any warzone player.

While the NICKMERCS OTs 9 Warzone loadout may not be a meta weapon when the Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone integration takes place with a new map and anti-cheat, there is no doubt that it is easily a solid replacement for any SMG that a player may feel is not performing as good as they want.
