Best SMGs in call of duty warzone

Submachine Guns are powerful tools in any Call of Duty: Warzone player’s arsenal. With that being said, we’ve ranked every SMG and put together the top five for Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded’s best close-range guns.

Following the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update, Warzone’s meta changed dramatically. While the long-range meta has shifted completely, the game’s close-range meta hasn’t changed too drastically, with Vanguard weapons continuing to dominate.

Having said that, there are some very strong and underrated SMGs that have climbed the ranks since the Season 3 Reloaded update, boasting incredible TTKs and versatility.

Whether you’re playing on Rebirth Island or Caldera, we have all the SMGs in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded ranked and the top 5 that you should be using.

Best Warzone SMGs ranked list

SMGs have always played an important role in Warzone’s meta. Alongside long-range options like Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles, players need something for fighting up close, and that’s where SMGs come in.

Top 5 SMGs in Warzone Pacific Season 3

5. Welgun

The Welgun is the king of low recoil SMG loadouts and it is one of the easiest weapons to use. For this reason, it is also one of the most popular SMGs currently available in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded.

Although it doesn’t have the same incredible damage-per-mag as the Owen Gun, it has everything you’d want from an SMG — solid time to kill, low recoil, and high mobility. Truthfully, there is very little to separate the top Vanguard SMGs in Warzone and if any of the weapons below receive nerfs, then the Welgun will surely rise up this list.

4. Armaguerra 43

Although Warzone’s Armaguerra 43 doesn’t get as much love as some of the other SMGs on this list, it’s well-deserving of a top-five spot.

The Armaguerra was quickly nerfed after its arrival in Season 2 Reloaded, but it can still hang with the best SMGs in the game. Boasting an incredibly fast fire rate and low recoil, it’s an excellent, yet underrated, choice in Season 3 Reloaded.

3. H4 Blixen

For the first time since the launch of Warzone Pacific, Vanguard’s MP40 is not on this list. Due to the powerful SMGs that have been released as seasonal content like the Welgun, Armaguerra 43, and H4 Blixen, there’s simply no room for the popular MP40.

Nonetheless, the H4 Blixen is certainly deserving of its spot on this list. As of June 6, the H4 Blixen has the best K/D ratio in Warzone at 1.75 and it’s blowing the competition out of the water.

2. Type 100

The Type 100 is a Vanguard SMG that players are beginning to take notice of. What makes the Type 100 so effective in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is that it’s the fastest-killing SMG in the game.

Although the Type 100 is a tad unwieldy, you’ll find that you’ll win almost every close-range gunfight when it’s in your hands. Its main issues are that it has a relatively small magazine size and struggles at range, but it deserves its top five spot because of its incredible damage output.

1. Owen Gun – Best SMG in Warzone

The Owen Gun absolutely dominated Warzone Pacific Season 2 and even though it was nerfed for Season 3, it doesn’t seem to have lost any of its power in Season 3 Reloaded.

While the Owen Gun has everything that makes an SMG great, what really makes it shine is its damage-per-mag — especially with Caldera and Rebirth Island’s 300HP. You’ll be able to take down a full squad in seconds, and players have insisted it’s still “broken” and want it nerfed again.

Although these SMGs are the top five you should run in Warzone, the meta is constantly evolving and who knows what will happen when the Warzone Pacific Season 4 update shakes up the hierarchy.

How to open Fortune’s Keep wine bottle Vault with Warzone Easter Egg

Warzone Season 4’s new Fortune’s Keep map is full of Easter Eggs to discover. Here’s how to open the wine bottle Vault.

Valuable loot is waiting behind Fortune’s Keep secret wine bottle Vault, but you’ll need to complete the Easter Egg to get in. Here’s a guide to opening the Vault on Warzone Season 4’s Fortune’s Keep.

Warzone Season 4 delivered a ton of map-related content with major changes hitting Caldera and the release of Fortune’s Keep. From the Call of Duty community to top players, most seem to be enjoying the new map with an overwhelmingly positive initial reaction.

If you’re still getting to grips with the new territory, you’ll want to keep in mind that there are a ton of secrets to uncover including a Zombie summoning Easter Egg. Much like Caldera and Verdansk before it, Fortune’s Keep also has a hidden Vault to discover.

How to open wine bottle Vault on Warzone Fortune’s Keep

If you haven’t already discovered this secret Vault on your own, it’ll be worth a shot as the contents hidden in the Vault can set you up for a victory.

There will likely be several players attempting to open the Vault so you should prepare for engagements along the way, but here’s how it’s done:

  1. Find two wine bottles around the Terraces POI
  2. Head to the Keep POI
  3. Place the two bottles on the empty shelf across from the dining table
  4. The secret door will open allowing you to loot the Vault

Opening the Vault is easy enough as your most difficult task will be to locate the wine bottles. You’ll want to look on tables and shelves within the Terraces POI for the wine bottles as they’ll appear on these surfaces frequently.

There’s no denying that the Keep POI is one of the map’s high-traffic areas, so making it in and out of the Vault safely is no guarantee. The required shelf is located right next to the massive table in the dining area of Keep. Players will likely attempt to ambush you on your way out of the Vault.

Warzone Fortune’s Keep Vault Easter Egg loot

Once you get the Fortune’s Keep Vault open you could be in a hurry to loot up as quickly as possible. Here are the items you can expect to find inside the Vault:

  • $5000 cash
  • Legendary Combat Shield
  • Legendary Skal Crusher
  • Killstreak
  • 3 weapon blueprints

The Killstreak and 3 weapon blueprints will vary from match to match, but it’s safe to say that all the loot in the Vault can propel you to Warzone success, especially in the early game when those weapon blueprints will do some serious damage.

Going through the hard work of finding the wine bottles and getting the Vault open can certainly pay off. However, if you’re not interested in putting in the leg work, you can always wait for unsuspecting players to open the Keep Vault and attempt to steal their loot.

Best H4 Blixen loadout for Warzone Season 4

The Warzone H4 Blixen is a great option in Season 4, especially with our recommended attachments, equipment, and Perks.

Published

on

After being introduced last season, the H4 Blixen remains a strong SMG choice in Warzone Season 4. To make the most of this devastating weapon, check out our best H4 Blixen loadout.

Warzone Season 4 is here, and it’s gone through great lengths to shake up the CoD battle royale. Raven have introduced a new Rebirth Island-style map called Fortune’s Keep, and even major Perk changes.

Vanguard weapons have been dominating the new season, and the H4 Blixen is no exception. Despite the new Marco 5 SMG coming in strong, the Blixen definitely still holds its own.

This powerful and accurate SMG could easily challenge the close to mid-range meta, but before you drop straight into the action, check out our best H4 Blixen loadout for Warzone Season 4.

Best Warzone H4 Blixen loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Bergstrom 17″ F3
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 54 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk 1: Perfectionist
  • Perk 2: Quick

We kick off our best H4 Blixen loadout with the Recoil Booster, as the SMG is relatively slow-firing compared to other guns in its class, so this increases the fire rate and lowers the TTK. Then, we went for the Bergstrom 17″ F3 Barrel, m1941 Hand Stop, and Polymer Grip to increase accuracy in mid-range fights.

Next up we opted for the Removed Stock option for a big boost in movement, ADS, and sprint-to-fire speed, all of which are vital at close range. In terms of Optics, we felt a standard Slate Reflector is a solid choice, but this can be switched for whichever sight you are most comfortable with.

7.62 Gorenko 54 Round Mags are a great choice for the H4 Blixen, as the gun’s laser-like accuracy pairs nicely with the attachment’s boost in headshot damage. Loading up with Lengthened ammo also raises the bullet velocity and lowers the TTK even further.

Finally, we recommend Perfectionist for Perk 1, to offer up one last boost in recoil control, and Quick to make you incredibly mobile in tight-nit situations.

Best Warzone H4 Blixen Perks & Equipment

  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Overkill / Tempered
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stim

Equipping Double Time will increase the duration of Tactical Sprint, allowing you to move across Caldera much faster, making rushing enemy teams a breeze.

The H4 Blixen is an ideal Sniper support weapon, so we recommend running Overkill to bring along a HDR or AX-50. Then, for your second option, run Tempered to help you recover to max health quicker after a gunfight.

Finally, the Amped Perk is a must to let you switch between your two primaries as quickly as possible, so you’re never caught with the wrong weapon for too long.

When it comes to Equipment, Semtex are an easy-to-use lethal that can score quick kills, while Stims offer a useful health boost to get you out of a pinch.

How to unlock H4 Blixen in Warzone

Warzone players can unlock the H4 Blixen by getting three Slide kills in a single match 15 times.

The easiest way to complete this challenge is by hopping into Vanguard multiplayer and racking up the kills. But if you only play Warzone, a mode like Clash is probably your best bet.

Best alternatives to H4 Blixen in Warzone

If the H4 Blixen isn’t cutting it for you, there are plenty of other meta SMGs that might suit you better.

Both the MP40 and Owen Gun are two of the game’s best Sniper supports, and can both hold their own at mid-range as well.
