Best Warzone Pacific Sniper Rifle loadouts

Sniping is one of the most effective ways to win games of Call of Duty: Warzone, but Sniper Rifles underwent massive changes in Season 3. With these meta changes in mind, we’ve put together the best Warzone Pacific Sniper Rifles you need to dominate long-range engagements in Season 3.

With Warzone being out for over two years now, Call of Duty players are well-accustomed to battle royale games. Understanding that running at teams for close-range fights isn’t necessarily the best strategy to win, almost every squad has a sniper on their team.

Sniper Rifles underwent massive changes in Warzone Pacific Season 3’s update, with the lightweight Snipers losing their ability to one-shot headshot at any distance. This has caused a major shift in Warzone’s meta, so we’ve ranked every Warzone Sniper Rifle and single-fire Marksman Rifle from best to worst, and counted down the top five.

Best Sniper Rifles in Warzone Ranked list

Across Warzone’s bolt-action Marksman Rifles and Sniper Rifles, the traditional heavy snipers have become the meta in Season 3.

Here’s every Sniper Rifle and single-fire Marksman Rifle in Warzone, ranked from best to worst:

  1. ZRG 20mm
  2. HDR
  3. 3-Line Rifle
  4. Pelington
  5. AX-50
  6. MW Kar98k
  7. Swiss K31
  8. Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle
  9. SPR-208
  10. LW3 – Tundra
  11. Vanguard Kar98k
  12. Type 99
  13. M82
  14. Rytec AMR
  15. Mk2 Carbine
  16. Dragunov

Best Sniper Rifles in Warzone Pacific Season 3

5. AX-50

The AX-50 has always suffered from its lower bullet velocity and bullet drop, but if you prioritize ADS speed when building it, then it becomes a fantastic option for Rebirth Island.

While it can still deliver that all-important one-shot headshot at any range, its bullet velocity prevents it from being the best Sniper Rifle in Warzone Pacific Season 3. Hitting those far-off targets will be quite difficult with the AX-50 but its one-shot headshot keeps it in the top five, especially when you build it for quickscoping in Rebirth Island.

If you’re looking to try out this Modern Warfare Sniper Rifle again, make sure you’re running the best AX-50 loadout.

4. Pelington

You may be surprised to see the Pelington in the top five Warzone Sniper Rifles, but it has the longest one-shot headshot range of the lightweight snipers.

This lightweight Black Ops Cold War Sniper will feel extremely similar to the previously meta Modern Warfare Kar98k and Swiss K31. Although not as speedy as the Kar98k, it has a much higher bullet velocity and can one-shot headshot enemies up to around 70 meters, which is about 20 meters further than the Kar.

If you’re looking for a versatile Sniper Rifle to quickscope enemies in Rebirth Island, then the Pelington might just be the weapon for you, so make sure you’re running the best Pelington loadout possible.

3. 3-Line Rifle

While Vanguard’s Sniper Rifles don’t receive as much love as the best Modern Warfare and Cold War snipers, the 3-Line Rifle is one of the best Sniper Rifles in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

The 3-Line suffers from a high amount of flinch and bounces around when you move, but its bullet velocity is its saving grace. Almost feeling like hitscan, you’ll hardly need to lead targets at all, so simply aim for the head and you’ll be able to take down enemies in one shot from any distance.

Be sure to check out the best 3-Line Rifle loadout you can use in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

2. HDR

The HDR was king back when Warzone first launched in March 2020 and it’s at the top of the pack again following the major changes made in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

As the HDR is a Modern Warfare Sniper Rifle, it’s one of the heavier weapons on this list. However, it still has a respectable ADS speed, strong rotational aim assist on controller, and of course, it’s capable of one-shot headshotting players from any distance. You won’t be quickscoping players up-close, but its high bullet velocity and high-zoom optics mean you’ll be unstoppable at range.

Make sure to check out the best Warzone HDR loadout so you can dominate Caldera at range.

1. ZRG 20mm – Best Sniper Rifle in Warzone right now

If you’re looking for a new Sniper Rifle to use across Caldera and Rebirth Island in Warzone Season 3, look no further than the ZRG 20mm.

Comparing the ZRG and HDR, the ZRG has a faster ADS speed and higher bullet velocity — two extremely important factors when weighing up the best Sniper Rifle. Plus, it still one-shots to the head.

Some may prefer the feel of the HDR, but if you can get used to the ZRG, you’ll find it’s the best Sniper Rifle in Warzone right now. So, be sure to check out the best ZRG 20mm loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Vanguard and Warzone players have been loving the Kong, Godzilla, and Mechagodzilla skins and bundles, but there’s one more Operation Monarch cosmetic for players to unlock — the Apex Phase Rifle Blueprint.

Although announced alongside the Season 3 Battle Pass, the devs didn’t reveal which gun it would be for, nor what it looked like. Now, thanks to an email sent out by Activision, we know that the Apex Phase Rifle Blueprint is for the Owen Gun, which is arguably one of the best SMGs in Warzone.

The Owen Gun Blueprint isn’t a straightforward unlock and you’ll need to put down a hefty amount of CoD Points, so here’s how to get your hands on it in Warzone and Vanguard.

How to get Apex Phase Rifle Owen Gun Blueprint in Warzone & Vanguard

Unlocking Warzone‘s Apex Phase Rifle Owen Gun Blueprint is unique in that you need to purchase all three of the Kong, Godzilla, and Mechagodzilla bundles.

Even though Operation Monarch ends on May 25, you’ll have until June 16 to purchase all three bundles and claim the Apex Phase Rifle.

How much is the Apex Phase Rifle Owen Gun Blueprint?

As players need to purchase all three of the Godzilla vs Kong bundles, the Apex Phase Rifle Owen Gun Blueprint will cost a whopping 7,200 CoD Points or $74.99 / £69.99.

Of course, you’re not just paying for the Blueprint itself, you’ll also get the Kong, Godzilla, and Mechagodzilla bundles with all of their cosmetics. Plus, for buying two out of the three bundles, you’ll get the exclusive “Godzilla vs. Kong” Weapon Sticker and the “Superspecies” Player Title.

When does Apex Phase Rifle Owen Gun Blueprint unlock?

Don’t worry if the Apex Phase Rifle Owen Gun Blueprint hasn’t appeared in your account yet, as it won’t become available until Vanguard & Warzone Season 3 Reloaded.

Although no official release date has been confirmed, we expect Vanguard & Warzone Season 3 Reloaded to go live on Wednesday, May 25. This update is also set to bring the H4 Blixen SMG and the Serpentine Perk to Warzone, as well as Vanguard’s Sphere map.

Warzone’s demon gun glitch is back with a vengeance in Season 3

Warzone’s infamous demon gun glitch has returned to ruin games for players in Season 3, and this time it’s back with a vengeance.

Published

on

Warzone’s demon gun glitch is making a return in Season 3, and players will have to contend with one of the worst iterations of the glitch we’ve seen to date.

Longtime Warzone players will be familiar with Warzone’s demon gun glitch as it never fails to pop up from time to time. The glitch occurs randomly and affects players’ visibility by blocking their screens with monstrous textures.

While the demon gun glitch has been dormant for a while, it has now reemerged with a vengeance in Warzone Season 3. Players will be hoping to avoid this iteration of the demon gun glitch as a strange twist makes it different than the traditional version.

The demon gun glitch has always been one of the most game-breaking glitches that players can encounter. When it occurs, players are helpless and cannot get rid of the visual glitch, and you’re basically stuck with it until you die.

Having the majority of your screen obscured by massive blocks of broken textures means that your match is likely over before it even begins. We’ve seen moments where players blind fire and luckily come out with a kill, but the majority of gamers suffer helpless Warzone deaths.

This time, a video posted to the Warzone subreddit by OowlwoO proves that the demon gun glitch is back and breaking the game in Season 3.

The player is simply attempting to grab a custom loadout, but it all goes wrong as a different version of the demon gun glitch appears. This time the visual glitch doesn’t appear on the player’s weapon.

It seems like the visual glitch is surrounding an enemy player in a “blob” of broken textures. To make matters worse, when the player in the clip is downed, their game crashes and they are booted back to the Warzone menu. If the glitch is kicking players from games, this is quite the troublesome version that players will have to deal with.

Players in the comments explained that this iteration seems to be a version of the demon gun glitch that affects the player model instead of weapons, “He didn’t render correctly, this used to be fairly common its similar to the gun render issue, our squad used to get this same thing, you just gotta shoot the middle of it and hope it dies.”

Best C58 loadout for CoD: Warzone Pacific Season 3

The C58 Assault Rifle is a solid gun in Warzone Pacific Season 3, and here’s how you can make the best Warzone C58 loadout.

Published

on

The C58 is one of Warzone Pacific’s best Assault Rifles and you can make it even deadlier with the right attachments Perks, and equipment for the best Warzone Pacific C58 loadout in Season 3.

The C58 is one of the best Assault Rifles in Warzone Pacific Season 3, thanks to its low fire rate and high damage per shot which allow it to shred through your opponents’ armor and health.

You might face some trouble with the weapon’s recoil, but it can still be extremely lethal in combat after you equip the right selection of attachments, Perks, and equipment.

Here’s the best C58 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Best Warzone C58 loadout

Best Warzone C58 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.5″ Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Drum
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x

We’ll start off this Warzone loadout with the Agency Suppressor muzzle and 18.5″ Task Force barrel for the buffs they provide to vertical recoil control, bullet velocity, and effective damage range.

The Field Agent Grip helps further control recoil, and you can take advantage of the C58’s improved accuracy by equipping the Axial Arms 3x optic to pick off enemies from a distance in medium-range combat.

Finally, we’ll cap off this loadout by equipping the 45 Round Drum to ensure that you have enough ammo to take out all of your enemies in battle.

Best Warzone C58 Perks & Equipment

  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Tactical: Stun
  • Lethal: Semtex

In terms of perks, we suggest sticking with E.O.D to deal with explosives that enemies are likely to throw at you, helping you to take less damage. You can pick Overkill to pair the weapon with an SMG like the Welgun.

For our final Perk, we went with Amped so that switching between both weapons becomes instantaneous. Finally, the Semtex and Stun equipment combo will help dish out additional damage to your foes.

How to unlock the C58 in Warzone Pacific

In order to acquire the C58, players can unlock the C58 for free by completing a challenge:

  • Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer/ Warzone: Using Assault Rifles, get a Long Shot kill in 15 different completed matches.
  • Cold War Zombies: Using Assault Rifles, kill 50 Special enemies that are slowed by your LT53 Kazimir portal

This is easy to do in Warzone Pacific where many fights are decided at range. We recommend the Automaton for this challenge, as its low recoil makes it easy to beam enemies at range.

Best alternatives to Warzone C58

If you’re looking for an alternative to the best C58 loadout, then we recommend using the CR-56 AMAX which boasts an impressive amount of damage and range. The XM4 is the best Assault Rifle in the game following the buff it got in the May 4 update.
