The STG44 has been one of the most popular Vanguard Multiplayer weapons since its launch. With the right attachments, the best STG44 loadout can also devastate your enemies in Warzone Pacific Caldera.
With the launch of Season 1 and Warzone Pacific, many of the qualities that make the weapon great in multiplayer transfer over to the battle royale. Fortunately, most players have unlocked a significant number of attachments for the STG, making the recreation of this loadout a simple task.
Here are the ten attachments, Perks, and equipment you’ll need to make the best STG44 loadout.

Best STG44 attachments for Warzone Pacific
- Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
- Barrel: VDD 760mm 05B
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: VDD 34S Weighted
- Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 8mm Kurz 45 Round Drums
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Rubber Grip
- Perk: Vital
- Perk 2: On-Hand
The STG44 naturally boasts excellent mobility. However, when it comes to Warzone we’ll be trading in some of that mobility for increased range and damage. The F8 Stabilizer, VDD 760mm 05B, m1941 Hand Stop, and VDD 34S Weighted stock all sacrifice movement speed for better accuracy, range, and recoil control.
The G16 2.5x optic is the standard choice for a primary Assault Rifle in Caldera. The 8mm Kurz 45 Round Drums will provide enough ammo to devastate squads. Meanwhile, Lengthed ammo and the Rubber Grip can combine to make distant targets a much easier kill.
The increased torso damage from Vital is going to increase your probability of eliminating enemy players. On-Hand will provide increased equipment dexterity. This means you’ll be able to rely on your equipment in tight gunfights.
Best STG44 Perks and equipment
- Perk 1: E.O.D
- Perk 2: Ghost
- Perk 3: Amped
- Secondary: Top Break
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Stun
The STG44 is best used as a long-range Assault Rifle and we recommend the currently overpowered Top Break handgun as a Secondary. Thanks to the Akimbo Perk these should cover the STG’s low mobility in close quarters combat.
E.O.D is useful for any playstyle, where you’ll be able to tank several explosives. This is especially useful when pushing up for close-range fights. Thanks to the Top Break, your Perk 2 slot will be free of Overkill. Instead, you can go straight to Ghost which should give you an upper hand throughout the early game.
And finally, Amped will allow you to switch between the two weapons almost instantly, preventing many frustrating deaths. A Semtex and a Stun are versatile enough to handle anything Caldera throws at you.
How to unlock the STG44 in Vanguard and Warzone Pacific
Warzone Pacific players will be happy to hear that the STG44 is unlocked automatically. If you haven’t played Vanguard, earning the proper attachments may be a grind but at least the weapon is available from the start.
Vanguard players can also access the STG44 quite early. The weapon is available as soon as create-a-class unlocks at Rank 4.
Warzone Pacific Alternatives to STG44
If the STG44 simply lacks the range you’re looking for in a Primary Assault Rifle, then the Automaton may be your best bet. Although it isn’t as powerful as the STG44, its range and accuracy are superb.

Warzone Pacific stats prove Owen Gun is most underrated SMG
Stats are proving that Vanguard’s Owen Gun SMG is one of the most underrated weapons players can use in Warzone Pacific.
Vanguard’s Owen Gun has flown under the radar in Warzone Pacific but statistics from WZ Ranked show that the weapon has the second-best K/D amongst SMGs.
Since the MP40’s recent nerf, Warzone Pacific players turned to Vanguard weapons for a new close-range option on Rebirth Island and Caldera. Most players landed on the Welgun as the new SMG of choice.
Of course, the weapon that arrived with the mid-Season 1 update is an incredibly powerful option but you may be surprised to discover that the Owen Gun is right on its tail and looking to claim the top SMG spot.
The Owen Gun isn’t a particularly popular choice in Vanguard either with it being overshadowed by the MP40 and PPSH-41. However, it seems like the Owen Gun has finally earned some time in the spotlight.
According to WZ Ranked, the Owen Gun boasts a Warzone Pacific K/D ratio of 1.22 which ranks as the third-best overall weapon in Warzone as of January 24. Its main competitor in the Welgun is ranked number one with a K/D of 1.29 and the C58 splits the two with a K/D of 1.25
Call of Duty content creators have been enjoying what the Owen Gun has to offer and even though its slower-than-average fire rate may feel strange for an SMG, it has excellent damage range to compensate.
The Owen Gun has made up a ton of ground in recent months which may turn a few heads. Only a few short weeks ago the Owen Gun’s K/D was ranked 28th but it has recently shot up to third and may just take the top spot in the coming weeks.
During the same timespan, its pick ratio has also shot up from 0.4% to 1.3%. Pick ratio indicates how popular a Warzone weapon is and the MP40 is currently on top with 14.7%.

Fan-favorite Warzone weapon kills faster than the best Vanguard guns
An iconic MW Assault Rifle has returned for a second stint in the spotlight and it kills faster than the best Vanguard weapons in Warzone.
Despite there being over 40 new Vanguard weapons in Warzone Pacific, a fan-favorite Modern Warfare Assault Rifle is proving to be superior to its newest competition.
Since Vanguard weapons joined the pool of options in Warzone Pacific many top choices have come and gone. At first, it seemed like Vanguard weapons would dominate the battlefield, but now one forgotten MW weapon is reclaiming its throne as the top Assault Rifle option.
Warzone players who refuse to embark on the grueling journey of leveling up Vanguard weapons will be pleased to hear that this fan-favorite AR is making a significant comeback.
The Kilo 141 is proving that Warzone Pacific players don’t need Vanguard to compete with high-powered meta options. The iconic Assault Rifle from Modern Warfare certainly had a long stint in the spotlight as Warzone’s best AR before gradually fading away.
In a recent video Call of Duty content creator IceManIsaac proves that the fan-favorite AR is statistically superior to the best Vanguard weapons in certain situations.
Best Warzone Pacific Kilo 141 loadout
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Singuard Arms 19.8″ Prowler Barrel
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
In the video, IceManIsaac analyzes the TTK of the Kilo 141 in comparison to Vanguard’s two best Warzone weapons in the STG44 and Bren. The stats show that when ADS maneuvering is taken into consideration, the Kilo has a lower TTK than the STG44 and Bren.
The experienced CoD veteran explains that the Kilo’s biggest weakness is damage dropoff that kicks in at extremely long distances of over 50 meters.
Considering Caldera’s terrain and the nature of the majority of gunfights, the Kilo won’t suffer from this weakness often which makes it one of the best ARs in Warzone Pacific.
Many Warzone Pacific players do not own Vanguard which makes leveling up Vanguard weapons in Warzone a troublesome task especially since loadouts arrive later in Warzone Pacific matches.
This meta Kilo option offers players a solution that allows them to maintain a competitive edge.

Best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout
Best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout attachments
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 20” Spetsnaz RPK Barrel
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
- Ammunition: 45 Rnd
We’ll start the best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout off with the GRU Suppressor because of the sound suppression it offers in Warzone Pacific. Aside from keeping you hidden from foes, it will also boost the weapon’s damage range, vertical recoil range, and bullet velocity.
Next, we’ll equip the 20” Spetsnaz RPK Barrel to further improve the damage range and bullet velocity of the best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout. Plus, it actually helps with recoil control, so it is arguably the best barrel choice for fighting at range.
Then, the Spetsnaz Grip gives a solid extra boost to your horizontal and vertical recoil control when using the best Warzone Cold War AK-47 loadout. The Axial Arms 3x Optic will go well with the gun’s new precision. But, if you plan on using it at medium-range too, the Microflex LED is a solid choice.
Finally, we’ll cap off the loadout with the 45 Rnd to give the AK-47 plenty of ammo to take down multiple enemies. If you’re playing Quads, you could also use the Bakelite 60 Rnd, at the cost of ADS speed.
Best Perks to use with Warzone AK-47 class
- Perk 1: E.O.D
- Perk 2: Overkill / Ghost
- Perk 3: Amped
Your killstreaks can easily be ruined by enemy players that chuck grenades and other explosives at you. For that reason, we recommend equipping E.O.D to make you more resistant to explosive damage.
For your first loadout drop, you should select Overkill so that you can pair this formidable Assault Rifle with a Sniper Rifle. Then, collect the Ghost perk from your second loadout drop to hide from enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.
Finally, this AK-47 build is quite heavy so you should use Amped to increase your weapon swap speed and make sure that you have the right gun for each situation.
