The TEC-9 is a unique new SMG added with Warzone Season 5, so here are the attachments and Perks to run to make the best Warzone Tec-9 loadout.
This unique SMG has three modes of fire so that it can suit a wide variety of playstyles.
However, we’ve combined the best attachments and Perks to create the best Warzone Tec-9 loadout for Season 6.
- Best Warzone Tec-9 loadout
- Best Warzone Tec-9 loadout attachments
- Best perks to run with Warzone Tec-9 class
- Most recent Tec-9 buffs and nerfs in Warzone

Best Warzone Tec-9 loadout
Best Warzone TEC-9 loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Full Auto Repeater
- Barrel: 4.9″ Task Force
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Ammunition: STANAG 48 Rnd
What makes the TEC-9 so unique is that its muzzle attachments change the fire mode. It comes as semi-automatic by default, but you can also make it full auto or even burst-fire.
We’ve opted for the Full Auto Repeater muzzle in the best Warzone Tec-9 loadout, as this allows it to compete with Warzone’s best SMGs. The only downside is that it won’t be suppressed but instead features the Position Concealment bonus, which means your dot on the minimap will disappear as soon as you stop firing.
For the rest of the best Warzone Tec-9 loadout, we’ve gone with the standard meta SMG loadout. The 4.9″ Task Force barrel increases the damage range and velocity, allowing you to take on targets at slightly further ranges.
Then, we’ve gone for the Tiger Team Spotlight and Raider Stock for a huge mobility boost in the best Warzone Tec-9 loadout, allowing you to get around the map quickly and snap onto enemies. And finally, the STANAG 48 Rnd magazine will account for the fast fire rate of the full auto barrel.
Best Perks to run with Warzone TEC-9 class
- Perk 1: Cold Blooded
- Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
- Perk 3: Combat Scout
Cold Blooded is now necessary to counter the new Combat Scout Perk. You won’t be highlighted, so you’ll have a direct counter to this Season 5 meta Perk.
As the best Warzone TEC-9 loadout is a close-range SMG build, you’ll want to pair it with something for medium-long distance fights. Overkill will allow you to grab two primary weapons. Then you can grab Ghost to hide from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.
Combat Scout is set to change Warzone’s Perk meta, as it essentially gives players wallhacks. As soon as you mark an enemy, they’ll be highlighted through walls and will also be marked for your team.
Most recent Tec-9 buffs and nerfs in Warzone
There have not been any recent buffs or nerfs to the Tec-9 in the Call of Duty battle royale, but we will update this section with any changes Raven Software makes to the Black Ops Cold War SMG.
How to unlock the TEC-9
The TEC-9 was available to all players for free in the Season 5 Battle Pass. However, players can still unlock the Tec-9 SMG by completing one of two different unlock challenges which you can find below:

All Warzone Pacific Caldera POIs in real life: Capital, Resort, more
Warzone Pacific’s Caldera map appears to be inspired by several real life locations, so here’s every Caldera POI and its inspiration.
Similar to Verdansk, Warzone’s Pacific’s new Caldera map appears to be inspired by real locations from the Pacific and the Second World War. Here are all of the real-life locations that Caldera appears to be inspired by.
Many locations from Warzone’s original Verdansk map are inspired by real-life locations, such as the Stadium, Array, and Nakatomi Plaza. It appears that Raven Software has taken a similar approach with Caldera, plucking many of its POIs straight out of Hawaii.
- Caldera Capital IRL
- Caldera Peak IRL
- Caldera Terminal IRL
- Caldera Royale Cabana Resort IRL
- Caldera Shark’s Lair Submarine Pen IRL
Caldera Capital – Ali’iolani Hale
The Capital POI is clearly inspired by the Ali’iolani Hale building in downtown Honolulu, Hawaii.
The building has roughly the same shape as Caldera’s capital building, with the buildings and balconies being in the exact same place. Plus, it even has the same clock tower with a flag pole mounted on top.
Caldera Peak – Haleakalā Observatory
Caldera has much more elevation than Verdansk, and the highest point is marked by a “military battery installation” on top of a dormant volcano that appears to be inspired by the Haleakalā Observatory in Maui, Hawaii.
While not being an exact recreation, it’s likely that Haleakalā Observatory is a source of inspiration. The Observatory was built in the 60s but has a similar round shape and white color to Cladera’s Peak – plus it also lies on the summit of a dormant volcano.
Caldera Terminal – Ford Island Control Tower
Caldera’s airfield is overlooked by a tall control tower that bears a striking resemblance to the Ford Island Control Tower in Pearl Harbor.
Although not as tall or narrow, Caldera’s tower has the same red control room at the top, and platforms all the way up. Many Warzone players weren’t huge fans of Verdansk’s air traffic control tower, so hopefully, this is better received.
Caldera Royal Cabana Resort – Royal Hawaiian hotel
Warzone Pacific’s Royal Cabana Resort appears to be heavily inspired by the Royal Hawaiian hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Being similar in both shape and name, the Royal Cabana Resort has a similar bell tower to the Royal Hawaiian. We’ll need to wait until the map releases on December 8 to see if there are any more similarities.
Caldera Shark’s Lair Submarine Pen – Lorient Submarine Base
Caldera’s Shark’s Lair Submarine Pen, also included in Vanguard, is clearly inspired by the Lorient Submarine Base in Lorient, France.
This Submarine Base was used throughout the Second World War to harbor U-Boats, and it seems Raven Software has recreated it in the Pacific. It has almost exactly the same shape, with similar gunner mounts on top.

Forgotten MW SMG still top-tier in Warzone Season 6
Warzone players are looking to send Verdansk off with a bang and there’s no better way to do that than with this forgotten MW Submachine Gun.
Utilizing this forgotten MW SMG is sure to bring back memories of Verdansk’s early days before players shift to Warzone Pacific: Caldera.
With so much focus on which weapons are “meta”, some pretty powerful options are often overlooked. Call of Duty data expert TrueGameData recently discovered the resurgence of a forgotten MW Submachine Gun.
The weapon in question is MW’s AUG. The data suggests that the AUG is still a force to be reckoned with. The AUG’s fire rate may not be as quick as other weapons in its class, even so, it is certainly one of the hardest-hitting SMGs around.
The AUG had a brief moment of moderate usage as a weapon in Warzone until it disappeared altogether. With the TrueGameData loadout below the weapon can make a triumphant return.
If you’re looking to give the AUG a try you should know that it doesn’t feel like other Submachine Guns. The AUG is much less mobile and quick to fire than other MW Submachine Guns. This might throw you off for a match or two but once you get the hang of the AUG, you’ll be shredding in no time.
The loadout focuses on utilizing the AUG’s already amazing base damage capability. Accuracy, range, and damage may not be the first thing that comes to mind when using an SMG, but the AUG certainly brings these qualities to the table.
TrueGameData MW AUG Warzone loadout
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Optic: Solozero Optics Mini Reflex
- Magazine: 5.56 NATO 30-Round Mags
- Perk: Sleight of Hand
The 5.56 NATO 30-Round Mags might seem like a strange choice for a Warzone Submachine Gun. However, the Sleight of Hand perk will compensate for the below-average mag size.
This AUG can be utilized up close with a fantastic TTK or it could be used at greater distances. Thanks to the Solozero Optics Mini Reflex and Monolithic Suppressor, accuracy and damage range won’t suffer at medium range.
Of course, the Tac Laser is a Warzone staple as it boosts ADS speed and increases aiming stability.
Given that the AUG could perform well at medium range, this loadout is best complemented by a long-range rifle. In the video, TrueGameData opts for the Swiss K31. Use the AUG as sniper support and you’ll devastate Verdansk.

Warzone Pacific Caldera map introduces fascinating new use for Molotovs
Warzone Pacific’s map Caldera is almost here. The latest promotional video may have even hinted at a new use for Molotov Cocktails.
A new promotional video for Warzone Pacific Season 1 has revealed an interesting Molotov strategy that gives the equipment a new use.
The new update will be bringing many changes to Warzone. Although some are concerned about the Loadout Drop changes, many are excited for Warzone Pacific. As well as Gas Mask buffs, it seems the Molotov equipment will be getting a new use.
There’s been a lot of promotion for Warzone Pacific, with the official launch coming on December 8 for those with early access.
Players are excited to get to grips with the brand new map, Caldera, which is sure to have loads for players to discover.
We’ve had information on all the POIs that players will see, but a new promotion video posted by charlieINTEL on Twitter showed a “postcard from Caldera,” which may have hinted at a new use for the Molotov equipment.
Molotovs on Warzone Pacific Caldera map
Molotovs have always been pretty great. Players will often use them to get enemies out of corners or even finish off downed players. They set the floor ablaze which acts as a trap for some time so that players can block paths as well.
Despite all these utilizations, Caldera may be bringing a brand new use for them. In the postcard, some information is detailed about an unknown person arriving on Caldera. They say that they have “discovered a fun trick with Molotovs: throw ’em into water and they become smoke grenades! Highly recommend”
This can’t be confirmed until the map is out, but it would make sense considering the developers have intentionally decided to include it within a promotional video for the new map.
Further, the fact that the unknown character on Caldera is highly recommending that players try this makes it even more likely.
We’re unsure how strong this strategy will be, but it’s interesting that Caldera will be offering new gameplay mechanics like this. Could there be more hidden features for players to find upon release?
