The major Warzone Pacific Season 3 update has thrown the Sniper meta into disarray. While most players believed the HDR and AX-50 would receive the bulk of the attention, it seems like the Type 99 is quickly stealing the spotlight.
Much like the majority of Warzone Snipers at the moment, the Type 99 can no longer one-shot players to the head from a considerable distance. Within 44 meters the weapon can one-shot to the head but from the same distance, the Type 99 can also one-shot to the chest which is completely game-breaking.

The best Type 99 loadout for Warzone Season 3 is all about maximizing range, mobility, and damage output. The three most important attachments you’ll need to equip to produce the one-shot kill to the chest are the Shiraishi 712mm Sniper, 8mm Klauser 5 Round Mags, and Vital.
The MX Silencer will allow you to one-shot to the chest from 44 meters instead of the Mercury Silencer’s 41 meters. Finding Sniper ammo could be a troublesome task in Warzone, so we’ve opted for Fully Loaded to keep you stocked up.
A slow ADS speed could ruin a Sniper loadout which is why you’ll want to equip the Fabric Grip and Removed Stock. Lengthened will increase your bullet velocity and it is the best ammunition option.

The Type 99 is the first Sniper Rifle available in Vanguard as an automatic unlock. Warzone players won’t have to work hard to unlock the Type 99 but you may want to consider using a Double XP token to unlock the necessary attachments quicker.
