Bethesda is now officially working on an Indiana Jones video game.
Bethesda announced earlier today, January 12 that they are working on the next generation of Indiana Jones video games in tandem with Machine Games and newly-founded Lucasfilm Games, via a Twitter post.
The project will be executive produced by industry legend Todd Howard, who has previously produced iconic games such as Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Howard has been at Bethesda for over 25 years, so it’s safe to say the project is in experienced hands.
Possible Release Date
The release date is currently unclear. Bethesda has clarified that it will be some time before more information is made public, but they are excited to share that it’s in development.
We expect this game to be an Xbox and PC exclusive, as Microsoft previously purchased Bethesda’s partner company, Zenimax Media for 7.5 Billion USD.
Newly founded Lucasfilm Games to assist
This title will also be the first release from the new Lucasfilm Games studio, which will also assist in development. It’s unclear if that studio will also head future Star Wars titles since EA currently holds a license agreement to make games under the Star Wars IP.
As time continues we’ll be sure to learn more about the future of the new Indiana Jones game and Lucasfilm Games.

Apex Legends Battle Pass items get major change in Season 10
Apex Legends Season 10 has brought many updates to the Battle Royale, but the Battle Pass system has also seen an exciting change.
Apex Legends is bringing a major change to Battle Pass items in Season 10, with the rewards no longer being exclusive to their seasons.
With how many cool rewards have been available in Apex Legends’ previous Battle Passes, fans wanted Halo’s BP system in Apex Legends. One of the first games to take the plunge, Halo Infinite’s Battle Passes aren’t exclusive to seasons. The timer will never expire, and you can still earn the missed items well into future seasons.
As spotted by Reddit user XboxSeriesS, Respawn Entertainment has updated the Apex Legends FAQ with a change to Battle Passes in Season 10.
Under the Special Events section now reads that the Battle Pass items “Can be obtained during the specific event period by Battle Pass owners who reach the required level. These items may return in a future event or promotion (This applies starting with Season 10 and onwards).”
So, items from the Season 10 Battle Pass and onwards may be available again in the future. Underneath the Battle Pass section of the FAQ, it also reads that “All seasonal cosmetic rewards in the Battle Pass are time-limited to the Season. From time to time, some items may come back, but it is up to the discretion of the team.”
It sounds like the Battle Pass items won’t be gone forever, but they’ll only return in rare instances. Most players were excited at the prospect, once again stating how good Halo Infinite’s system is. Others were more critical, annoyed at the idea of having previous BP items sold again.

Where to place a Bioscanner in an Alien Biome for Fortnite Week 9 Quests
Here’s where to find and place a Bioscanner in Alien Biomes to complete one of the Fortnite Season 7 Week 9 Legendary Quests.
Week 9 of Fortnite Season 7’s Legendary Quests tasks players with placing a Bioscanner in an Alien Biome, so here’s how to complete the challenge for a massive XP boost.
We’re now in the ninth week of Fortnite Season 7, which marks the arrival of the 17.30 update, including the upcoming Ariana Grande concert and Grab-itron weapon. There’s another batch of Legendary Quests to complete. One of Week 9’s Quests tasks players with placing a Bioscanner in an Alien Biome.
Here’s where to place a Fortnite Bioscanner in Alien Biomes for the Season 7 Week 8 Quests.
Fortnite Bioscanner locations
- In the garden of the western house, directly south of the large tree
- In the outdoor section of the Garden Center, on the east side
- In the garden of the southeastern house, beside the three trashcans
Fortnite’s Alien Biomes can be found in Holly Hatchery, marked by the glowing bubbles around the houses.
The Fortnite Bioscanner will already be marked on the ground for you already. You simply need to approach it and press the interact button to place it. Place one, and you’ll be awarded 30,000 XP towards leveling up and completing the Battle Pass.
This is a substantial amount of XP that will help you level up this season’s Battle Pass, so players will be wise to complete this challenge.
Expect Holly Hedges to be busy when these challenges go live, so either land directly on the Bioscanner or rotate to the location later in the game, as you are sure to run into plenty of enemy players who will be trying to complete this challenge to place a Fortnite Bioscanner in an Alien Biome as well.
