Bethesda reveals new Indiana Jones game

Bethesda has revealed they are working on an Indiana Jones video game in partnership with Lucasfilm Games and Machine Games.

Bethesda is now officially working on an Indiana Jones video game.

Bethesda announced earlier today, January 12 that they are working on the next generation of Indiana Jones video games in tandem with Machine Games and newly-founded Lucasfilm Games, via a Twitter post.

The project will be executive produced by industry legend Todd Howard, who has previously produced iconic games such as Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Howard has been at Bethesda for over 25 years, so it’s safe to say the project is in experienced hands.

Possible Release Date

The release date is currently unclear. Bethesda has clarified that it will be some time before more information is made public, but they are excited to share that it’s in development.

Release Platforms

We expect this game to be an Xbox and PC exclusive, as Microsoft previously purchased Bethesda’s partner company, Zenimax Media for 7.5 Billion USD.

Newly founded Lucasfilm Games to assist

This title will also be the first release from the new Lucasfilm Games studio, which will also assist in development. It’s unclear if that studio will also head future Star Wars titles since EA currently holds a license agreement to make games under the Star Wars IP.

As time continues we’ll be sure to learn more about the future of the new Indiana Jones game and Lucasfilm Games.

New game modes and Ranked Solos leaked for Apex Legends

Apex Legends Season 8 will be here soon, and new leaks have emerged suggesting that we’ll see a Ranked Solos mode among others.

New game modes coming to Apex Legends

A brand new leak has revealed some more game modes that might be making their way to Apex Legends in Season 8. This includes the long-awaited Ranked Solos mode and a new version of Kings Canyon.

Apex Legends Season 8 is almost here, which means that there’s a ton of exciting new content to look forward to. We might see a brand new Legend join the roster, some improvements for existing characters, and even new LTMs.

The battle royale has seen its share of different game modes over its Seasons, and the recent Fight Night Collection Event brought the Airdrop Escalation LTM. Now some new leaks are suggesting that the devs are planning to change things up even more.

According to these leaks, Respawn Entertainment will be introducing Ranked Solos and brand new game modes in an upcoming update. Here’s everything we know so far.

Is there a Ranked Solo mode in Apex Legends Season 8?

This leak came from data-miner SomeoneWhoLeaks,  who posted images of someone testing out a few new game modes on January 14. These are planned to be revealed to fans when Season 8 of the battle royale goes live.

We see appearances from the Arenas Team Deathmatch mode, along with one titled “Anniversary Event Kings Canyon.” The leak also shows off some game modes called “Locked and Loaded” and “Death Trigger.”

Looking closely, we can also spot a reference to a Ranked Solos mode. This stands out from the others as it is labeled with “#PL_Ranked_Leagues_solo!”

This is something that will greatly please Apex fans since they’ve been asking for a Ranked Solos mode for quite some time now. The devs have made it clear that they don’t consider these to be “healthy” for the game, so they wouldn’t be implementing them anytime soon.

Keep in mind that these are still just rumors that have yet to be confirmed by Respawn themselves, so take them with a grain of salt. They even stood by their position on this topic on January 8, stating that Ranked Solos will not be added to the battle royale.

It’s possible that this mode is just being tested to assess data before releasing the new season. We’ll keep checking for updates, and will update you once we learn more.

How to find Cayo Perico Treasure Chests in GTA Online

Rockstar Games have added Treasure Chests to GTA Online as part of The Cayo Perico Heist expansion, and you can find them daily.

Treasure Chests in GTA Online

There are daily Treasure Chests hidden in The Cayo Perico Heist update that are worth $15,000 each, and you can find these when logging into GTA Online. Here’s how you can get your hands on them.

The Cayo Perico Heist brought brand new opportunities for earning money when it went live on December 14. The actual payout of the heist is impressive, and there are also other commodities that can earn you some extra cash such as gold bars.

Aside from doing missions and objectives, you can also find Treasure Chests when exploring the island of Cayo Perico before the heist. These are easy to find, and each one you come across contains $15,000.

Cayo Perico Treasure Chests locations

You can find two Treasure Chests daily when logging into GTA Online. One will be lying on the island, while the other can be found just off-shore in the water.

The game will notify you when you’re near one of these with the sound of bells ringing as you get closer to them. Just follow the sound until you see a prompt on-screen that lets you know that it’s time to open up the Treasure Chest.

Here’s how you can find them:

  1. Head to Cayo Perico to scope out the island
  2. Take a walk around that spot until you hear bells
  3. Keep walking in that area until you get an on-screen message
  4. Open the chest and claim the $15,000!

There are 10 possible locations where the chests can spawn on land, and these change every day. Luckily, YouTuber GTAMen has already compiled all of them on the GTA Online map.

Finding the ones that are underwater works the same way. The only major difficulty that arises is having to come up for air every few seconds after you dive into the ocean. For that reason, you should keep some rebreathers on you.

Just keep swimming towards the sounds of chiming bells until you get the prompt that tells you to open the Treasure Chest. GTAMen also went over all the underwater locations for these in another video.

So far, the Treasure Chests only rotate between these select locations. This might be subject to change later one, but right now you can find them by exploring these areas on the map daily when playing GTA Online.

Be sure to explore Cayo Perico as there are a ton of other fun activities and money-making opportunities at your disposal. GTA V’s first-ever map expansion has a lot of exciting content to offer, and it’s up to you to try it out.
