“Big Bertha” Cargo Truck spawn rates finally reduced in Warzone Solos

Raven Software have finally delivered on their teased change to Warzone Solo matches, significantly decreasing the spawn rate of Big Berthas.

After Cargo Trucks, or Big Bertha’s, plagued Warzone’s solo mode for months, Raven Software has finally reduced their spawn rate.

The Cargo Trucks, commonly referred to as Big Bertha’s, have been plaguing Warzone Solo matches for months. Boasting a ton of health and an almost bullet-proof cab, it was extremely difficult for a lone player to take them out. This caused convoys of Berthas to roam the final circles of BR Solos, and the community begged for change.

In an update on May 27, Raven Software has continued its efforts to keep Warzone’s meta balanced but also delivered a highly-anticipated update to Warzone Solos.

Dr Disrespect has been extremely vocal about removing Cargo Trucks, calling Solos a “miserable mess” and saying removing them would fix the mode. Raven Software teased the change in the Season 3 Reloaded patch notes on May 20, and they finally delivered this change in a game settings update on May 27.

In the official patch notes, Raven Software said that “Cargo Truck spawn rates for Verdansk Solo BR mode have been reduced to 5 (static) from a range of 16 to 20.”

While they haven’t removed the powerful tools entirely, they should be a lot rarer in Warzone Solos, and likely won’t survive until the end of the match.

Continuing with their recent dedication to engaging with the community, Raven Software explained the logic behind their decision:

Cargo Trucks are incredibly durable and provide ample cover from enemy fire—which makes them the optimal choice for map rotation. In Solos, players are not keen to unload a considerable amount of their resources into the removal of Cargo Trucks, which would often result in a significant number of them in final circles. The ensuing gameplay allowed players to skirt traditional engagements and created a crutch that put less of an emphasis on end game positioning and gunplay. A substantial reduction in the number of Cargo Trucks in Solos will make whittling them down over the course of the game a feasible and attractive option given their considerably reduced map presence.

Hopefully, with this change to Big Bertha trucks, winning a match of BR Solos will be more about positioning, aim, and awareness, and less about keeping your Cargo Truck alive into the endgame.

The extremely popular CR-56 AMAX also received another small nerf in this update, so we’ll need to wait and see how it changes the meta.

Best HDR loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 4

The HDR is the top Sniper Rifle of choice for many, and here’s the best HDR loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4.

Published

on

The HDR Sniper Rifle is a great choice in Warzone, and you can use the right attachments, Perks, and equipment to make the best HDR loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 4.

If you’re looking for a great Sniper Rifle to pick off your enemies from a distance in Warzone then the HDR is an extremely viable choice, thanks to its solid ADS speed and ability to one-shot headshot enemies.

While the Warzone Pacific Season 4 update has shifted the meta by bringing a ton of weapon buffs and nerfs, the HDR continues to remain a great long-range option. You can make it even deadlier with the right attachments, Perks, and equipment.

Here’s the best HDR loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4.

Best Warzone HDR loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: 26.9″ HDR Pro
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Optic: Variable Zoom Scope
  • Stock: FTAC Stalker-Scout

We’ll start off this Warzone Pacific HDR loadout by equipping the Monolithic Suppressor muzzle and 26.9″ HDR Pro barrel to buff the Sniper Rifle’s effective damage range and bullet velocity.

You’ll now be able to score one-shot kills from a distance, and we recommend taking advantage of the Variable Zoom Scope optic’s magnification to pick off enemies in long-range combat.

These attachments come with a cost to your ADS speed, so we’ll make up for that with the help of the Tac Laser and FTAC Stalker-Scout stock.

Best Perks & Equipment to use with Warzone HDR class

  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal equipment: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical equipment: Stim

When you camp at one spot with a Sniper Rifle, you’ll need to keep an eye out for enemies throwing Grenades and Semtex at you. For that reason, we recommend equipping the E.O.D to protect you from explosive damage.

You’ll want to use Overkill to pair this weapon with a medium-range Assault Rifle like the XM4 or a close-range SMG like the Marco 5. Finally, Amped will let you swap between both weapons quickly.

For the equipment, we’ve opted for the Throwing Knife to help you eliminate downed enemies, and the Stim regenerates your health after taking damage.

How to unlock the HDR in Warzone

If you want to get your hands on this Sniper Rifle to make the best Warzone HDR loadout, play until you reach Level 11.

At this point, the weapon will become unlocked, and you’ll be able to use it to cause some pain in Caldera and Rebirth Island.

Best HDR alternatives in Warzone

If you’re looking for an alternative then be sure to try out our ZRG 20mm loadout as this weapon has a faster ADS speed and higher bullet velocity than the HDR. The Pelington is another great choice for its high bullet velocity and ability to one-shot headshot foes.

Call of Duty expert WhosImmortal has revealed the best SMG loadout with an “absurd TTK” that you can use following the meta changes in Warzone Pacific Season 4.

The Warzone Pacific Season 4 update had a significant impact on the game’s meta after introducing numerous buffs and nerfs to the game’s existing weapons as well as adding the new Marco 5 SMG.

As a result, players are wondering which SMG is the most effective choice, and Warzone expert WhosImmortal has shared his loadout for the best Season 4 SMG with an insanely fast TTK.

WhosImmortal went over the best SMG loadouts that players can use in Warzone Pacific Season 4, including the Owen Gun, MP40, and MAC-10. While these are all effective choices, the top spot on this list went to the Type 100.

After going over the stats for the SMG, the Warzone expert praised its “absurd” TTK which allows it to eliminate enemies extremely fast. He then shared his best loadout for the Type 100.

WhosImmortal’s Type 100 Warzone loadout

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Sakura 196mm Light
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Warubachi Grip Folding
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 9mm Kurz 48 Rounds Drum
  • Ammo Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Taped Grip
  • Perk: Gung-Ho
  • Perk 2: Quick

He starts off this loadout with the Recoil Booster muzzle and M1941 Hand Stop underbarrel to bring the weapon’s recoil under control. This will allow greater precision, and the Slate Reflector is a reliable optic choice.

The Sakura 196mm light barrel, Taped Grip, and Warubachi Grip Folding stock will boost the weapon’s ADS speed, Aim Walking movement speed, and Sprint to Fire speed. This will ensure that you move around the map faster.

He went with the 9mm Kurz 48 Rounds Drum to give the weapon plenty of ammo, and the Subsonic rounds will ensure that there is no minimap ping when you fire your weapon. Gung-Ho will allow you to fire while sprinting and Quick will improve your sprint speed.

This Warzone Pacific Season 4 loadout will grant you high mobility and low recoil so that you can properly take advantage of the Type 100’s TTK. So, be sure to try it out after you hop into the game.

Furious Warzone players claim RICOCHET devs are on “vacation” as cheaters run rampant

Warzone Pacific players are upset with cheaters ruining matches, and are slamming the anti-cheat measures for being ineffective.

Warzone Pacific players are frustrated about encountering cheaters and are slamming the anti-cheat developers for being on “vacation” while this problem is ruining matches.

Cheaters have been a major nuisance in Warzone, and the developers often quickly respond to this problem by implementing anti-cheat measures as well as removing hackers in ban waves.

While the RICOCHET anti-cheat system has helped rid the game of numerous cheaters, there have been reports of the situation getting worse all of a sudden, and the Warzone community is furious.

Warzone’s RICOCHET anti-cheat system’s kernel-level driver detects software and applications that players use to cheat, allowing the security team to respond quickly. While this is effective in finding hackers, a few still manage to ruin matches.

Reddit user ‘bwash407’ shared a clip in the Warzone Pacific subreddit, and it showed them spectating a player that was instantly locking on to numerous targets at different locations on the map.

This was a clear case of cheating, as the player should not be able to immediately lock on to multiple opponents at that distance. The Redditor sarcastically stated: “RICOCHET must be on vacation this week.”

While RICOCHET helps reduce cheating in the game, a few Warzone players feel that the anti-cheat measures aren’t effective since hackers can still use these kinds of exploits during matches.

One of the commenters claimed that cheaters have been running rampant for the last couple of weeks and appearing in almost every game. As a result, Warzone Pacific is starting to feel “unplayable.”

Another player replied that the most obvious cheaters are the ones that don’t bother to hide. There are others using wall glitches to secure unfair kills while players are unable to retaliate against them.

Top Warzone players are also upset by the current state of the game. Pro player ‘SuperEvan’ spoke out against the recent influx of cheaters, asking if the RICOCHET anti-cheat system had stopped working altogether.

While running into cheaters can be irritating, the Call of Duty developers recently reassured players in a recent progress report that the RICOCHET anti-cheat system will “get smarter and better as time progresses.”
